I am now 6months Post Big Chop. I never thought I would actually be able to kick my permed straight addiction. Even though I am not a High Maintainace hair person I always kept my hair looking good.|
I decided to go natural 2yrs ago because I permed ,colored, went swimming in the pool and beach all back to back. Needless to say my hair couldn't keep up with all the activity and chemicals I was putting it through. after my 2weeks vacation I had a photo shoot and my hair was not it bone straight look like I liked it so again I permed my hair (well my edges) and got my hair done for the shoot. I was fine til the next morning after when I saw all this honey blonde hair falling out in the sink as I combed my wrap out.
I cried so hard when i finally looked at both my sides were gone ,I mean burned to a coarse bbrillo texture fuzz on the side of my head.
From that point I said I was going natural and I started my transitioning. Sew ins became my new addition. Thanx to Youtube University as I call it I watched natural hair journey after hair journey. So many of the natural women on there Abosolutely seemed to luv thier hair. I picked up a few popular ones and went on a product review frenzy. I am now totally natural and I know I am not a perming my hair again.I did put a chestmut brown color in my hair but not goin back to literally Killin my hair. With all that being said I love my New Naptural Caramel Curls
I am Napturally Caramel & Luvin It
I am so excited to have finally made my choice to be completely Natural. It took alot for me to go thru my BIG CHOP but I am so glad I did. I started a Youtube channel about my journey where I post product reviews and just random natural thoughts for me:)
