164/20 – The Daily Bun
|
Wednesday, January 11, 2012 Anyone who knows
this blog knows that its owner/subject is stylistically challenged. I’m not well-versed on achieving twistouts,
braidouts, and the like. I admire them
on many other beautiful curlies, but yeah… these hands? Incapable of producing such beauty on *this*
head of hair. So I stick to
what I know - a bun. Which I “jazz up” and “sassify” with floral
decorations… a sampling of which can be seen here. It’s been a while
since I’ve posted any new hair flower pics.
Back at the start of autumn, I posted that I had gone crazy buying flowers
in deeper, richer fall colors. Here are
a few results from that haul:
That’s all for
now. I just found out that I’ll be
traveling again this weekend… so… I guess that’s another weekend without a wash
routine? *sigh* It’s so hard to travel with all of my
hairwash needs – conditioning caps, clips, products – it’s like I’ll need separate
luggage just for hair stuff. |

Exactly!!! I try to always have my hair done before going on vacation. You know what you should do? Buy those travel bottles and put some of each of your products in those and a small/medium cosmetics travel bag.

Oh Shelli... if only it were that simple. LOL. What about all the mix-ins for DIY deep condishes? We're talking about traveling with honey, olive oil, coconut oil, bananas, AND the heating cap. Then you have to add in the "I'm never as comfortable in someone else's bathroom as I am in mine" factor. It just makes for too many headaches. LOL For the most part, I can work around the SCHEDULED travel. It's the surprise trips that throw everything off.
