"Protect that Fro!!"
Good evening Beauties!! The weather is so burrrr! Yea, I think that one word describes it all. Lol. My hair has been showing the effects of the cold, too. So, I have increased my amount of water/water based moisturizer for my day and night regime. I also keep my small spray bottle filled with water, a lil bit of conditioner, and dashes of castor oil in handy too. I spritz this mixture on my hair before I step outside, and after I have sealed and moisturized my fro.
I tried bantu knots this week, and they were gorgeous. It was very timely, though. I started off with medium 2-stranded twists. Then, I put the twists into bantu knots. Ladies, if you don’t know what I am talking about, please go to YouTube and search this process. That’s where I learned, and I promise you they can show you better than I can tell you ;-)
Also, my last post talked about how I trimmed my hair. Well…it has already started to grow back!! I cut about 2 inches off, and I am a bit surprised on how fast it is growing. Before trimming, you should wash and blow dry your hair straight. You will achieve a cleaner cut that way.
Finals week is approaching, so I am looking for a protective style to adopt. Ladies, I really don’t want to go back to the braids! (I won’t!) Any other suggestions on what I can do with my hair??
Be YOU!! It comes soooo naturally!! ;-)
