Prescription: You have a wonderful way of thinking and a wonderful way of seeing the world. It is great that you teach your children to love themselves before anything else. To continue to give your child a healthy view of their hair, we recommend the following:
To wash hair without removing moisture use Crème de la Curl on a weekly basis, if you need a deep cleaning you may do so with Super Slip Sudsy Shampoo. This should be done once a month. To keep soft manageable hair use a deep treatment such as Super Sweetback Treatment. This also helps to untangle hair without hurting your child’s scalp or stressing the hair follicles, it helps hair grow and adds moisture and has a wonderful sweet scent that kids love. There is nothing better than Baby Buttercreme, As you know this will prevent hair from becoming brittle and will give your Childs hair ultimate moisture.
Continue to show your child that she should think positively about who she is and to be happy with what she has naturally.

Prescription: Many people fear that once they don’t do a relaxer their lives will change. In some cases this does happen, most of the time it is for the positive side, to be more healthy and to embrace the natural you. Transitioning with family and friends makes it easier to have smooth transitions; you have a support outlet from friends and those who you love so you are in good hands. Having a positive environment relieves fear and stress, you most likely will have better results once fully transitioned into an all natural gal.
To commence, you either would do the big chop, meaning cutting everything off or start completely new with no straight relaxer ends. The other option is waiting for the new growth to reach a certain length when you feel its time to cut those old straight ends. This transitioning method is more work since you have to make two different textures look similar. We recommend braiding your hair or using Quick Curls and a rod set so those straight ends look similar to the rest of the hair that is growing.
Once you cut out those old processed tresses, its time to nourish your hair as though it was a baby, by giving it love, attention and grooming. Super Sweetback will help your hair grow, untangling the hair and most important for us curlies giving it moisture and natural shine. Curly Buttercreme and Baby Buttercreme are your moisture helpers especially on those days you don’t deep condition or on workout days these two moisturizers are hairsavers. Once your hair reaches a length of four inches or more try Curly Pudding this is a must for most of us curlies, it delivers elongation, shine, definition and movement. It’s inspirational the choice you made along with family and friends to go all natural, enjoy.

Prescription: Beauty has many shades, colors and textures. It is up to you to find it within you. There is no such thing as good hair; however there is such a thing as healthy hair. Healthy hair consists of strength moisture and definition. To have healthy hair start with what you wash your hair with.
Crème de la Curl is excellent, for it is designed to be gentle to your scalp and hair follicles, no sulfates here just a dosage of good wheat protein and castor oil.
Finish washing it with a moisturizing conditioner such as Crème de la Crème, this will further help soften the hair thus making it easier to handle and style. Most important of all, when transitioning it is best and overall important to nourish new growth with a daily moisturizer such as Baby Buttercreme or our popular scalp stimulator Curly Buttercreme. This crème will literally have your scalp breathing and cools your head thanks to peppermint oil.
As your hair gets longer and you need a push for faster hair growth add Super Sweetback, this amazing deep treatment conditioner does all in one, it un-tangles the hair, softens the hair and helps with the growth rate while adding moisture all at the same time. Now that you have the tools to discover your beauty you will enjoy the company of your hair, have a smooth journey.

Prescription: Most people have the perception that water is not a curlies friend, when in fact water is our best friend. Miss Jessie’s Products were developed to include water, our source of life . The combination of water and Miss Jessie’s product captures the curl pattern’s definition at the same time preventing frizz and dryness.
To retain moisture in your hair I recommend you use Crème de la Curl along with Crème de la Crème. The conditioning properties in these two products will help your hair have moisture and maintain your hair’s softness. Twice a month use our Super Sweetback Treatment. This extraordinary treatment has Centella extract an ingredient that boosts hair growth and it untangles the hair making it easy to handle. To style I recommend Quick Curls, which is our lightest crème of the collection. You mentioned you did not like the heavy crèmes. Well this one is very light and will dry quick, this crème also prevents frizz and will give you movement if you hair has a lot of length.
If your hair seems like it needs to be refreshed spray water lightly on it, water will reactivate the Quick Curls in your hair. Enjoy !
