I have been using the Control Gel (about a nickels worth) for 6 years in combination with one drop of Smoothing Serum. I get great curl formation and shine. I finish my hair after it's almost dry with Aveda Humectant Pomade.

My first non-drugstore gel. Nice definition and curl formation. Not crunchy when layered over LOOB. May be my HG!

Pretty good hold - my hair absorbs most products, so I was surprised it lasted. I have to use a lot though. I used both a diffuser and let my hair naturally dry, therefore not much frizz. I would buy it again!

Good hold and curl formation but I have definitely used better for MUCH less. I would compare it to Biolage Gelee, the consistency of it that is. I do think that its a bit overpriced. It also left a nasty white residue that flaked all over my hair, and I didnt even use that much! Maybe its more noticable because I have dark hair? I would not buy this gel again.

I really like using this with the texturizer spray, it makes my wavy hair wavier and very nice; reduces frizz. The best thing is that it makes my whole head wavier, not just some parts. The gel smell reminds me of Clinique Happy.

Good stuff! I got the same result from Curlfriends as I did from Ouidad humidity gel. Curlfriends smells better and is much easier to get without going to the salon.

Is a great gel for when you're letting yoyr hair dry naturally. Let's it dry soft, not crunchy.

A decent daily gel. Nice light consistency. Fresh smell. Not a lot of crunch.
