This is my all-time favorite curl creme. It works magic on my 3A hair: big, bouncy, soft, well-defined curls. It works best with puddles of water scrunched in after (supersoaker method), followed by a hard-hold gel. I use the lite version in the winter because my hair is glycerin-sensitive.

I have very fine light weight 3C Curls, so I need a lot of moisture and a lot of hold in my products (without being crunchy). I have been using Coffee-Coco Curl Creme with Wild Woozle Pomade, and it's a great combo. I just need about 1t of the Coffee-Coco Curl Creme, and it provides pretty good weight as well as nice curl definition. My only complaint is that it doesn't hold if its really windy, or I leave the house without my hair being fully dry. Also when putting my hair up, I think I would want a stronger products that will really hold things in place. And the smell is great.

My HG! I have been using CCCC for almost 2 years. I use this after a light leave in (I like Bumble & Bumble Leave In/Rinse Out) on soaking wet hair. Then I plop for 10 min and diffuse. The result: beautiful, clumpy, frizz-free curls. It provides the weight and moisture that my curls need. I've tried tons (and tons and tons) of styling products and now this is THE ONE for me!! The only caveat is it doesn't have enough hold for 2nd day hair. I'm still looking for a way to refresh & re-energize my 2nd day hair without causing frizz.

I give this 5 curls for my daughters hair. It was amazing for her..amazing. The very best curls she has ever had. We needed no gel or other product except for a leave in with this.
On my hair it was not so great. It did work when I used the Curl Assurance Hair Styling Water first but it was not consistent. We LOVE the smell and consistency of this--its just yummy!

I love this product. When used alone it did have enough hold for my curls - it left me frizzy, but when used in equal proportions with Kinky-Curly it provides great moisture and the KCCC gives it enough hold and shine for fantastic curls! I love the smell but the moisturizing effect is best for my ever dry hair. So try it layerd with your KCCC and see what dramatic results you get!!

This just didn't work for me. Left my hair feeling coated and weighed down. I tried it in soaking wet hair and damp hair but with no luck. I also didn't care for the smell.

Im a bit confused about this product. What is it for? I really like the smell and it is moisturizing but idk. It's pretty heavy and dosen't do so great under my hairgel. Dosen't add much shine. Not to much hold really either.I think i will just use it to slick my hair back into a bun. I need to play around with it more. Did i mention how good it smells. Yummy

My hair LOVES this moisturizing curl enhancer. I get plump & clumpy ringlets. Just a little scrunched in very wet hair goes a long way-too much and my hair gets sticky & weighed down. An HG for me!

Good stuff. This product is heavy and works best with resistant hair. But overall a great moisturizer. I use it when I wear my hair back. It helps keep my hair in place while moisturizing.

I had high hopes for this but it's too heavy for my 3b hair. It does give good curl formation, but I'm thinking the protein is a bit much for my hair b/c my hair has a weird texture after I use it, can't explain it.
If you havesuper thick and dense hair you will love this product.

This is by far my holy grail of all products. I have tried a ton of products from NC and this one is the best of all of them. Once my hair is wet I put leave-in conditioner in, and then use a quarter sized amount and scrunch it through. I have no crunchies, no frizzies, it makes my hair soft/hydrated, and it smells sweet and yummy...

Love this product. Got great curls. As with any cream, I found that I still needed to use some gel for hold. If you like creams, you'll love this one. Smells great too.

If there were 5 curls, I'd rate it a 5! I can't believe I'm writing a review, but I had to, this is the best. I FINALLY have the hair I've wanted. The curls I see on other people that I want. NO frizz, soft, natural looking but great hold. I've tried everything. I feel like this is the best kept secret to perfect (is it possible?) curls. Not just curls, but perfect hair.

My hair: 3c/4a This product gives me my hair great moisture and curl definition. I do find that less is more, as it does tend to weigh my hair down if I use too much. This has a great scent light scent. I love all of the natural ingrediants too.

After reading the good reviews of this product, I purchased it from CurlMart. Unfortunately, my hair doesn't agree with it. All the oils it contains (which are natural) do a great job of moisturizing it but also weighed my hair down too much.
