This is more of a glaze, and works best under gel. I almost gave it 4 stars b/c it's kind of runny, makes it harder to distribute IMO. I LOVE the results paired with the control 2 gel! You don't need much too which is a plus b/c it's NOT cheap!

This is my go-to product for loosening my extremely tight curls. As suggested, combined with Control Gel it's a frizz free zone for sure. I love that this is not like a gel (good slip factor. I also mix it with my own homemade leave in to lock in moisture while getting this curl definition. I opt to use it alone most of the time, as I don't like gels and this consistency suits me better. Definitely the best water based styling product for anti-frizz I've ever used.

This is an awsome product. I have curly fine hair and find it so difficult to find products that do not weigh my hair down. I love this stuff! I use this as my only styling product and as always air dry.

Nice smell and easy to use. It does not work well for me on its own. I must have some gel to use with it. I did not get the control I or II gel though so maybe it works better with those. I've just been using it with some Paul Mitchell firm gel.

Coupled with the Control I gel or Bio-Gel Mousse I get shiny, controlled curls. The gel has a bit more hold, but I think the lotion is responsible for making my curls shiny.

Very good product! I received this as a sample. I was surprised at how little I needed to get the results I wanted. If you have dry hair, you will need to use a moisturizing leave-in prior.

I am very happy with this product on my 3c hair. I prefer to use mousse with it instead of gel for less crunch, but the Structura lotion by itself gives great curl definition. For those who have very tight curls, it does help to loosen them up a bit, so I can see how those with looser curls might not like this. I will definitely buy this again, it is great!

This product works really well! Probably works even better when hair is rinsed with cold water.

This is my number of best ever product! I thoroughly soak my hair in the shower every morning, then condition heavily. I rinse for one second with cold water. My towel is an large cut-open t-shirt. I use a handful of this product on my waist-long spirals and add a few long bobby pins on top for some lift. I allow my hair to dry on its own and remove the clips at work - after my bike ride with a helmet! After I remove the helmet, the clips come out and I don't mess with my hair. The trick is to use a lot and put it on wet hair and don't comb, scrunch or mess around with your hair.

It's an ok product. It does give hold and definition but it dries out throughout the day and leaves you with frizzy hair. Maybe if I try it with another product.

So far I hate this product, but it may be because of the instructions that came with the "Cosmocurlitan" kit for 3a hair. 1.5 TABLESPOONS of this product plus 1.5 teaspoons of Control II gel created a disgusting effect. Ridiculously crunchy wet-look that's hopeless until I wash it out. Will try way less next time. So far, it's a bomb.

When my hair dried, it was soft and light. My waves were a little looser than with other products i've used, until finally --later in the day -- i had no waves whatsoever. The product had a yummy smell, and I would definitely use it on days I plan to straighten anyway.

This product worked great for me hair. Especially on wet hair and air drying - i got the best bounce and structure to my curls.

Good clumping and curl definition. It doesn't add a lot of moisture though. I needed a pomade touch up for the ends. My main wish was that the product worked all day. I think I will use it for an evening out not for all day control.

I think that this does not work for me because it is not moisturising at all for my spirals. I won't repurchase it. I don't like the watery texture of the product too.

I am a 4a/3c with dry hair. I usually just load my hair up with conditioner (Jessicurl Aloeba or lately KCKT) and squeeze out the excess and add this in sections. It gives me soft perfect frizz free curls that dry quickly. I really like this product. It also washes out easily. Only downside, it doesn't mix well with some gels and the second and third day hair could be a bit better. First day hair can't be topped though.

When combined with Curlisto Control II, this really does give great curl formation and helps smooth my 3a curls. I would never try using this alone (without a "sticky" gel or other product) because it is just too light and subtle for my hair.

This did an amazing job at preventing frizz. It doesn't provide any hold, so a gel is definitely needed. I have used the Gel II under it as well as others; all have worked well. For those who can't or don't like to use CK, it is a good option.

LOVE THIS! When mixed with Control II, this is my summertime holy grail. A great frizz-reducer.

I love this when used in combo with the Control Gel I it leaves my hair soft and shiny.

I would love to give this product 4 curls because the effect I get when it's first dry is simply amazing. This product gives me that piecey, lightly tossled definition I've been craving and my hair feels absolutely great. However, the effect fades quickly until my hair is a mono-wave/curl in about an hour. Even with the Control I gel applied generously with the Structura Lotion (in the suggested quarter of Structura to nickle of Control gel), it only holds for about half the day. I can't touch my hair at all or be exposed to wind or it instantly falls. Wonderful in FL's high humidity--zero frizz at all times.

I love this. I get the best curl formation ever. I used it on top of the Repair Styling Cream. Sometimes I mix it with Control II. Best way to apply it is in sections, raking it through with your fingers. One thing, you do use a lot of it to get good curls.

Ok, after visiting the salon in NYC I figured out why it wasnt working for me. Once I did a combo with the Control II gel, it worked perfectly. I have shiny bouncy curls with a significant reduction in volume.

It was too light for my hair to really react. Maybe as a layering agent with something more substantial.
