I *hated* this product upon first use. I didn't like the smell, or the result and ended up getting my money back and was told to keep the product. I was working a job where I was sitting in front of a computer all day, so I didn't care what I looked like. I'd shower at night, put in products, sleep on it, and use the Quiet Calm Curl Control to SOTC the next morning. Great results! Smell does not bother me anymore (I like it now), and it doesn't linger. Definitely fixes some frizz issues for me. Love it!

i love this stuff- i usually layer it under Batia & Aleeza gel and I get great curl formation, bounce & softness.

UPDATE: Still loving this for summer use, but I've learned that it needs to be paired with a hard-hold gel to maximize results. I rake it in over a light leave-in conditioner, plop for 20 minutes,scrunch in some gel for hold, and then SOTC once dry. Voila - defined curls that are soft to the touch!

This is good for softening & moisturizing the hair & allowing body while adding shine, when added to damp or wet hair though. I don't care to use it for smoothing frizz on dry hair.

A terrific curl enhancer. Provides very good hold for my 2C curls. You only need a small amount. I've been using it over Curl Keeper. Also mix it with some aloe vera gel for great moisture and clumping. Very happy with it.

This product is worth every penny. My curls are loose and soft - absolutely no scrunchy feeling. The scent is pleasant without overpowering. Highly recommended!

Best curl creme I had used to date. Not greasy or heavy. Not dry and crispy. And does just what it says - encourages and induces curls! I ABSOLUTELY see the diff when I skip this step. I like it best paired with the BRHG, but have used it with success layered under the B&A gel as well.

I was surprised at how very much I liked this product. It's not "sticky" at all, so I expected it to leave my hair frizzy and out of control. But instead, it provides soft control (probably best for the winter, when there isn't high humidity) and nice curl formation. When mixed with a "stickier" gel (like Curlisto Control III), it works great to add shape, while the gel helps control frizz. I recommend it!

My fine, 4a hair that loves creamy leave-ins hated this one. It frizzed up my hair and did not enhance texture, so I ended up using more gel to compensate.

It gives my hair lots of body and leaves my curls soft. No hold to the product and I do get some frizz with it. However, I love the line and will continue to use it. Light, orange scent which quickly disappears.

I LOVE this stuff. It smells great, gave me great curls and wasn't crunchy or greasy. I used it with Aloeba leave-in, RR and then this. Results were wonderful. My hair didn't get frizzy even though it was raining outside. WOW

A great product. Gives my hair great body without weighing it down or making it crunchy. It's the only product I've ever used for midday touch ups. My only complaint is that you have to use more of it than other products.

I thought this might be too light for my hair (very liquidy creamy texture to the product), but it works great--continues to work great. On a really humid day, I mix in the tiniest bit of a "stiffer" gel and that works great. Four minus one because it's not enought to cope with the South on the humidest of days, but Virginia in August is a pretty tall order for any product!

I love this product! I have 2B/3A hair and this gives me great curl formation - not just waves - with no crunch, no flakiness, and very little frizz. I let my hair air-dry overnight with a towel on my pillow, and when I wake up in the morning - gorgeous hair! It works best when used in conjunction with a light leave-in conditioner (my current favorite is Giovanni, used sparingly) coupled with Innersense's Sweet Spirit (sprayed once before bed, once upon arising, and then as needed as a curl refresher). My fine hair never looks dirty or weighed down, and my curls still look great the second day. I haven't yet tried it during summer humidity, but am crossing my fingers...

This really boosted my curls, especially late in the day, and smelt like oranges (not fake-orange at all). However, it only was effective for frizz in cold temps (not that common in FL).

Finally a product that really works! It's light and not greasy yet keeps my curls together and the frizz away. The scent is wonderful. I encourage every curly head to try it!

OK - i just tried quiet calm and i LOVE it!! My hair looked SOOO great the first day i used it that i actually got compliments from strangers. So today i styled it smoother and guess what?? It looks great this way too. Very SHINY and SOFT with NO frizz. I'm HAPPY!

I love this product! It is creamy, but not heavy. It gave me great curl formation. And it smells really nice.
