I tried this in a sample pack of Jessicurl products. I tried both rich and light but prefer the rich. I alternate this with the sample Hair Rules Clarifying Shampoo.

I really didn't think I needed a cleanser product because I've been using and loving NoPoo for 3 years. However, when I put this in my hair I immediately felt it moisturizing my curls. And even though it lathers ever so slightly it did not strip my hair of moisture. I think I may have to switch once my NoPoo is gone.

dominicancurls06 - Hair Type: 3c I wanted to love this cleansing cream because it came so highly recommended. The cleanser actually gave me a pretty nice lather. However, my curls were all matted and I had a bit of a hard time detangling. My tight curls are very fine and this weighed my hair down. I think it's probably the avocado oil in it. I will try it again, but for now I prefer Blended Beauty's Soy Cream Shampoo.

echokitten - Hair Type: 3b This stuff is great...super gentle, great scents. Not too sudsy which I did not mind, cleaned my hair very well the first time(even took out the 'cones). A little goes a long way even on my mid back length spirals. I noticed a difference at once. My hair felt slicker, but not greasy not gunky just clean. I think I personally I prefer the citrus/lavender scent because it is sort of rosemary-ish, but the island scent is pretty yummy too. I would recommend this for all fellow 3Bs.

I have a very sensitive scalp and I have used other products that claimed to be a "NO SHAMPOO" type product and experience problems with my scalp. This product is great! It doesn't leave my hair stripped or feeling dry. I have used this product daily and it didn't dry my hair out. A must have! and is better than others!

The Reptile House - Hair Type: 3a This product didn't make my hair and scalp feel clean. There's something to be said for a good lather - I don't care if it's merely psychological. This didn't later at all and though my hair at the roots was squeaky, my hair felt dirty. Possibly one for soft water areas.

kurlee - Hair Type: 3a Very moisturizing. Like it but need a little bit more ompf in the long run. I do have a scalp that is a little bit on the oilier side and also a hair that gets weighed down easily.
I found it hard to distribute. I had to use so much of it to get it all over my hair. Still, one of the better cleansers out there. I like the other Jessicurl shampoo better though (GLS).

jool - Hair Type: 3a I first got this in a "try it all" pack. I didn't think I needed any special shampoo, and I thought it was quite expensive for "just a shampoo". The first time I used it I didn't like it because it didn't seem to clean my hair as much as usual shampoos (I was used to the really-almost-squeaky-clean feeling hair). By the time I finished the trial bottle and went back to my regular shampoo, I wanted more. It's definitely different from regular shampoo and being sort of creamy, it feels like it couldn't clean properly, but it does. I leave it in for a minute or so, and do 2 washes then condition (Jessicurl too shea normally) and it seems to help improve the condition of my hair. I don't like the fake fragrances of the Jessicurl products and they are fairly expensive, but I love the product and I'll keep using it for sure.

My only complaints are that I have to use a lot of it, and that in shipping it separates. I'm unable to get it to blend back together. This seems to happen if the temperature is under 60 degrees anywhere along the shipping route. I don't know what she could do to fix that, though.

It's hard to get used to b/c it doesn't have a lather to it like traditional shampoos. Let is soak on your scalp, it just feels so good!
It is also a little difficult to distribute b/c it has a very watery consistency.

Finding a lightweight conditioner for washing is more work than it's worth but I don't want my tailbone-length curls to dry out. A sulfate-free cleanser like this one is perfect. It cleans my hair and leaves it soft and happy. It's not strong enough to get silicones out but I avoid silicone like the plague so it works for me.

I usually have good results with gentle cleansers, but this is too gentle for me. It kind of felt like washing my hair with Cetaphil. My hair didn’t feel clean enough to my liking even though I had used a large amount of the cream at once. I just need a stronger cleanser. I think this might be a better product for someone who doesn’t use a lot of product or for someone on the no-poo routine. I have 3b/c curls.

The Hair Cleansing Cream is non stripping, non drying, and actually leaves my hair moisturized as well as clean.. I even have my mother using on her relaxed hair. Oh, ya Jess, I need more, she is using all of it.
