I have been searching for a new more organic leave in conditioner and I think I feel in love with the kinky curly Knot Today. This is the best product. One my wet and wavy days I use this everyday and just go and on the days I go to the shop my beautician also enjoys not having to put me under the dryer for long. This conditioner dried out my hair. It felt like it was just sitting on top of my hair and not penetrating it. After awhile my new growth started feeling brittle and dry. However this stuff is great at detangling.

I have used EVERY single product on this line and the only product I use now is this. I deep condition with this for the smooth touchable curl look and feel. I leave it on for an hour then wash it out and have settle curls. Then I can bantu knot them.. Perfect for any girl with thick hair like mine. GREAT at detangling. I love the slip feel that i get.

I love this product.. It works wonders.. I use it to detangle.. No other product can take its place.. I tried Soo many other products .. but this one leaves my hair soft and smooth.. I go thru a lot of it.. I will definitely use it on my clients hair...

I have combination 3b/3c hair. I have been using Kinky Curly products for over 3 years now and although I have found replacements for the curling custard and the come clean shampoo this Knot Today will forever be a staple product in my daily regime. Yes, I use this product almost everyday so I always buy two bottles at a time. I just learned that on the kinky curly website you can get a 32oz bottle so that will be my next purchase. This product is 2nd to none and I don't remember what my hair was like before it was introduced to Knot Today. Oh yea, I remember, it was dull, tangled, lifeless, non-defined dry kinks. Now it is shiny, bouncy defined soft, detangled curls. I get asked almost everyday what I am using in my hair. And at the top of my list (because I do use a lot of products) knot today is always mentioned.

I have 3a/3b hair. Kinky curls on the underneath with wavy/S shaped curl on the top.. Oh my goodness, I absolutely LOVE this stuff. I used to straighten my hair for years & recently found the Curly Girl Method. I LOVE this stuff along with Curl Keeper. Never have I seen my curls THIS difined & frizzless! I used Fructise Garnier Sleek & Shine leave in until I received this. It was a bit heavier then Kinky, but I LOVE this because it's so light. I can even detangle with it and still keep my curls. Where as when I first started doing the method, my curls were only at the ends and the rest of it was wavy or S shaped. ONLY reason I give it a 4 is because I wish it came in LITER size like the curl keeper. Please get it in the LITER size!!!

I can't use anything with KCCC besides this. I've never tried it on it's own. I don't like the synthetic smell (Iike "JAM!") But hey, KCCC ain't the same without it.

This has recently become a product staple for me. I love the greener, cleaner formulation that excludes the usual chemicals/sulfates/silicones as other products. The texture is great for my 3b/3c hair -- creamy, with slight hold (but not tacky or sticky). I usually layer it under a light gel to control frizz, but on good days -- if my hair is well-moisturized -- I can get away with using it by itself after washing. I usually detangle before using this, but as a leave-in conditioner it's fantastic (and very affordable!!).

I love this! I have 3b/c VERY fine and healthy curls that get weighed down by leave-ins so I use it as my conditioner after I cowash with Curl Junkie Daily Cleansing Conditioner. Great moisture! I will definitely re-purchase.

This worked wonders on my hair when I was transitioning from relaxed to natural hair; however, it just stopped working for me as my hair became more natural. It stopped detanging my hair and it stopped adding shine to my hair.

I bought the Knot Today leave in conditioner because I tried one of the Kinky Curly products and I loved it. This conditioner left my hair feeling so silky soft and so hydrated. My curls snaps back effortlessly and feels so wonderful. I'm now completely and forever attached to the Kinky Curly line of products. Thank you!

I have 3b hair that starts to get very nice thick tight ringlets the longer I go without washing. I bought this on a whim because I normally don't have a huge budget for hair products and find that the more expensive stuff isn't worth the extra money. I thought my hair could benefit from a leave in and the treseme silicone free conditioner is a bit too thin. My hair LOVES this stuff. After I wash with a no-poo (which I only do every 4 days) and detangle with the cheaper treseme, I rake about 2 nickel sized amounts through my hair. When my hair is wet, it is past the middle of my back and while my hair is fine, i have a lot, but don't need much of this stuff. It helps my hair clump without weighing it down and provides moisture my hair desperately needs. Plus, it smells great. Days 2-4 I squeeze water through my hair in the sink and apply a similar amount squishing it through the back of my hair where it gets the most frizzy, so I end up using it daily. I've had it for over a month now and have just gotten through about 1/2 the bottle so the price ends up being pretty reasonable.

I'm used to coating my hair in deep conditioners after I shampoo, or hell, even co wash my hair. Because its just so dry! So I thought that using a thin conditioner that contains no oils, butters, cones, or petrolatum/mineral oil was a big fat joke, especially after using a clarifying poo (come clean) I don't know how it does it, but this is one of the most moisturizing conditioners I have EVER tried. And it didn't weigh my hair down AT ALL. Even though I just slathered it on, detangled, and didn't wash it out. On top of all that, this is the longest time an 8 ounce bottle of ANYTHING has EVER lasted me. And it smells great, light, clean, and fruity. AND its available on ground and is very reasonably priced seeing as it lasts forever and I don't have to pay for shipping to boot. This is black magic I say. This here managed to adress every hair isue anybody could possibly have, I haven't got a clue how that is even possible, but it did.

Knot today gets 4 stars because like KCCC, it doesn't work for me in our humid summer, trust me I wish it would. I don't use it to detangle because I have too much hair and I like detangling it with tons of conditioner. I use it as a LI after I step out of the shower. I layer KCCC over it and comb my hair to distribute it evenly. This combo is perfect for less humid winter months. My hair is seriously perfect for 3 days. The curls are elongated, defined, and moisturized. This is a great LI and its well worth the money!

I use this conditioner with the KC Curly Pudding and I get great results. The conditioner is moisturizing and has some slip but, I'm not too impressed. I'm still in search for a great natural leave in to provide another layer of protection to my hair. 3b/3c

i like this product and it gives great moisture for my post- cowash 4a strands, but the only thing I notice is that it leaves a white film on my hair when I use it with other products. I'm probably not rubbing it in enough or am using too much, but the residue is the only reason I didn't give this 5 curls.

I LOVE THIS CONDITIONER!!! I get this from Target whenever I can :D The scent is light but I love the way it makes my hair feel. I use it right after washing my hair or whenever my hair is feeling dry. I have no regrets whatsoever about buying this product! :)

I love this product! It is easily spread throughout your hair, does what it needs to do, and smells wonderful. I have started using a bit of it with my sheamoisture conditioner during my shower, because it helps spread the thick conditioner throughout my hair. It has definately helped with my frizz. I have no idea how it will fair in my dry cold climate this winter. * I will never give a product 5 curls, unless it is a miracle in a bottle. Which I don't believe exsists! lol

I am in love with this product! This is the first leave-in I have found that leaves my hair soft, shiny, and frizz-free WITHOUT weighing it down! I've used the Curling Custard and love it as well. I can't wait to finish off the shampoo/conditioner that I have so that I can purchase and try theirs!

This is my favorite leave-in conditioner! It's creamy and hydrating, but never weighs my curls down. I have thick 3a/b hair that loves moisture, and I use Knot Today underneath my gel every day. The result is bouncy, shiny and healthy curls! I have tried many CG leave-ins, including Giovanni and Garnier but this one has by far the best results for me. I even use a very small amount mixed with water and gel to refresh my second day curls. I left 4 stars only because if you use too much you can get just a tiny bit of residue. But this is easily avoidable :) A must-have product!!

Everyone raves about this product but its doesnt work with my hair type for a stand alone (2b/2c) it doesnt really grab my curls or retain moisture although it gives great slip.It works good as the base of a conditioner mix because it melts into the hair.

i just used this product for the first time this week and i have nothing but rave reviews!!!!! i've been looking for something that will my curls soft and not look like a bee's nest! I told my sister about it too :) i'm dominican/chinese with 4a/4b type hair and this is wonderful!!! doesn't play nice with certain hair products tho... but just with the Curly Custard and this, i'm sold!

I have 4b/4c hair, and this stuff just rocks at softening up and melting the tangles outta my hair! It's last me quite a while so far. I probably use it 1-2 a week (I alternate between it and Giovanni leave-in) and I've got 4/5 left of it! I've had it for 5 months now so the price doesn't bother me at all! Totally worth every scent!

This is great as a rinse out detangler for my daughter. She's a swimmer, so she's washing her hair often and it takes some abuse. This takes all the knots out quickly and easily. Great as a leave in too. She's a 2b or c.

Great Product, Not too heavy. Works on 3c, 4a, and 4b curls. Love this stuff. It's not too too expensive either. It smells good too.

This is a really great product. I was using DevaCurl B'Leave in previously, but found that it was drying out my Type 2 Wavy hair after long-term use. I have been using this product regularly for over a month and I'm very happy with it. It has great slip, smells wonderful, and leaves my hair really manageable!

(Type 4a) Knot Today is definitely #1 in my HG of products. I always rebuy this product and get nervous when I'm running low. I use knot today as a conditioner, a leave-in, Sometime I even use it to style a particular section of my hair w/ water. Cute packaging, great island-y like smell. The consistency is snotty-creamy. I get great slip with this product and it never takes away definition from my hair. I would recommend it to a friend.

I really love KCKT! I have really thick hair and the ends always look dull, even just a week or so after a haircut. I put this on while still in the shower with soaking wet hair and then add whatever styling gel I'm using that day, scrunch out water and air dry. I've had it about 3 weeks and I have about 3/4 left in the bottle. My hair is so much softer and I especially notice the ends feel soft and healthy. I can't quite place the smell, but it's nice and doesn't stick around that long. It's a bit on the expensive side so I might try out some other options before buying it again, but I definitely don't regret the purchase and I will use the whole bottle!

I'd be lost without knot today! I've tried numerous leave in conditioners but this topped them all. The second you put this on your hair it is SO silky smooth, the comb just glides through. I have always had a problem with detangling and this makes it a sinch. It is SO moisturizing as well! It only takes a VERY LITTLE amount of product to get VERY GREAT results! :) It's totally worth the $12, I promise! I use this, followed up with curl keeper & kinky curly curling custard. It's an amazing trio.

I really love this product, it makes detangling my hair so easy esp bc 'm going natural from years of relaxing and this is especially helpful for the areas where the new growth is meeting the old processed hair, i've never actually used it by itself, i usually just add it to my deep conditoner (giovanni deeper moisture conditioner), regular conditioner (Curls coconut conditioner) or leave in conditioner (shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie)

A great product, I've been using it on my fine 3c curls for over a year now and I haven't found anything that can replace it in terms of a detangler and moisturizer. I put it on and detangle my hair with my fingers, then I rinse some of it out, and use the curling custard as a styling gel.

Great Detangler and gives a good amount of moisture, not as much as I would like (still great though).

I love this product!

This is a nice rinse-out conditioner for softening and detangleing. I use it as a leave-in when I use the Curling Custard and it helps keep my curls from getting too short and tight. It also keeps the Custard from getting too crunchy. I use this on my 3 year old daughter's hair for detangleing, and she loves it. For my hair, the KC line is fantastic in low dew point weather (in the mountains here), but it's a bit drying in my usual 50-60 degree dew points. Knot Today smells like soft-serve vanilla ice cream...yum. I think this, with the Custard, provides the best frizz control of any product combo I've ever used.

This Leave-In Detangler/Conditioner is so yummy!! Besides the delicious scent, it provides excellent slip, which enables me to keep more of my below-the-bra-strap length hair. It leaves me with moisturized, soft hair and kills frizz. I use this under Kinky Curly Curling Custard for beautiful beachy wavy/curly tresses that last all day here in hot/humid FL. I have even used a dime size amount of Knot Today by itself, and after letting my hair air dry (till about 90%), I blew dry straight. It worked fabulously!! It even added shine! I will continue to repurchase.

This is by far the best leave-in I have ever used! It melts into your instantly and detangles hair really well. Also, you don't need a lot of product on your hair for it to work. I think I can safely say this is a new HG product for me~

I am a 2b and I love this product! I finally found something that would keep a wave pattern without frizzyness or the wet look. It dries soft manageable and frizz free, exactly what I was looking for. I use it right after shower then follow up with a gel (or LaCoupe spray) to get a more hard/definite "going out" look. For everyday use this is wonderful and not greasy... Worked for me hope it works for everyone else ;-)

I love this stuff! I have a cosmetologist license and have tried a TON of products and can usually get products cheaper than the normal person. Although I have to pay more for this product, it's worth it. You use just a little and my hair has nice slip, feels nourished and removes all of the tangles. I am still growing out some of the keratin treatments I had done which had ended up damaging some of my hair but this stuff really brings my curls back to life when used with the Curling Custard. The other BIG bonus is that it is animal friendly and no cones, parabens, etc. Love love love this stuff!

Knot Today is an amazing product! The ingredients are simple and natural without the harsh stuff like mineral oil, petro,silicones, sulfates etc. Knot Today is a must have for me and my son. I have 3c,4a,4b and my son has 3b 3c. dryness is eliminated once our hair is quench with water then the product goes to work to moisturize and detangle. It seems to melt the knots away very well. I cannot remember the last time I felt like giving up on being natural. It also smell clean and sweet. This Kinky-curly product<br />has helped me a lot. No tears period. Try it, it's cool!

Knot today is amazing!! I use it after I DC or co-wash with another conditioner. I also use it as a leave-in. It makes my hair so managable!! It is a great detangler and has a light feel and smell. Before Knot Today I used to cry when trying to get the knots and tangles out of my hair! NO MORE TEARS!!

I like this produce well enough. It is a great detangler but if it's mixed with the ecostyler gel it flakes a lot. I still use it but not with any other products other than coconut oil.

ok This is an amazing fantastic conditioner. I love the deva one conditioner but this is way better. It leaves your hair super soft and smooth BUT for the size its pricey. So i give it 4 curls instead of 5 for pricing.

I love this leave-in conditioner for my long 3a/3b hair. It's light, smells wonderful and I can use it by itself as a styling product when the humidity isn't too high. It's a little on the pricey side, but I only need to use two nickel-size dollops, so one bottle lasts me a long time. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out.

It left my hair dry... I heard people rave about this product and wanted to love it but I dont :( I guess I'm giving this one away

I tried this for the first time today. I am in a transition period right now. Its my first thirty days going natural. I have been using the Devacurl line and although I like the concept behind it, it does not appear to be working for me like it does for others. Some days it's great, others are not and I can NEVER get a second day out of it. I saw the rave reviews for this and I just had to try it. I wasn't going to comment until I saw what my hair looks like tomorrow but I couldn't wait! I already feel the difference. I didn't use the whole line as I have too much of the expensive Devacurl products. I co-washed & conditioned but instead of leaving the conditioner in, I washed it all out with cold water and squeezed out the excess water. Next I sectioned my hair into eighths and added a pea sized amount of kckt to each section and brushed thru with fingers. next I added a nickle sized amount of angell to the same section, racking thru with fingers and then scrunching. worked my whole head this way and let air dry. My hair feels so soft and light. I didn't even have to break the gel cast like I would have before when leaving in the one condition! The curls are defined and almost frizz free! Best of all my hair doesn't feel coated (yet). I'll see what it looks like tomorrow. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 curls is because it does EXACTLY what it says it will do...it elongated my curls into waves. I had started getting my curls back after 15+ years of straightening. I think I just used too much for my fine curls and next time I Will us less, but this is definitely staying part of my routine. I love it!!!!!

This product is amazing! I used it once before and it did what it said but my elongated 4a curls were kinda crunchy in combo with the custard. So i did something different this last time I used it. I used the whole line like suggested. Then I took the Knot Today conditioner and sectioned my hair into 4 inital sections and smaller to liberally apply the product. I applied the leave in to the smaller sections before finger combing the custard in. i did that through out my entie head. It took about 30 mins. But guys....OMG... my hair was so soft and bouncy, something i havent experienced. i kept my hair like for 4 days! thats a feat for me! I can barely go 2 days without washing. And my hair was sooooo moisurized that it felt like it was wet with product but had not applied any. I love the kinky curly line =)

This product paired with the curling custard is my hg!!! It give me great "slip" and I have seen a huge improvement in my curl's health & was happy not to have the distribution/amount problems that some people have!

This was awesome and smells great but only works well with the kinky curly come clean shampoo. It has to be followed with a styling product immediately or else it will sit on your hair making it look and feel silky and grand till 6 hrs later when it dries and your hair is dry as if you have done nothing to it in days! Good temporary results.

Love love love this product, leave my curls much easy to deal with during the week And much more defined! It is kindly pricey but as the saying goes u get what u paid for! Recommend this product to woman who has thick curly hair!

Great product, I've been using this for a while now. The only problem is that it is so expensive 150TT$, but it is okay for my 4b hair, I try not to use too much because of the price, which makes me wonder whether I'm fully benefiting.

Great leave-in! Liquidy texture didn't change how my curls behaved (didn't weigh down or increase my curls) and was surprisingly moisturizing for the texture..

I love this! It is so versatile... I use it to do so many things. I mix it with deep treatments and conditioners for better distribution if they have no slip, I use it alone for heavy-duty detangling in the shower if my normal condish is not enough, I use it as a leave in. It plays very well with most of my products. For some reason it does not like my LA Looks Sports Gel, so I don't use it with that, but otherwise I never have to worry about product interactions. It is easy to mix with oils too... When I am feeling lazy, or I know that I want to wear my hair up for a few days in a row, I just leave off all styling products, and mix the KCKT with some coconut oil. The price is a little much, but I spend very little on my other products, so I am willing to splurge a little on this one.

Provides fantastic slip. I used it as a leave-in with KCCC, but didn't get the results I wanted. I will definitely use it as a detangler and possible as a leave-in on very humid days, but not with the KCCC. Knot Today is a really good product!

I tried this leave in a while back, but when I saw it on Kimmaytube I used it again. I love the results!!!!! It is my favorite and the best leave in ever. My hair is super thick and this detangles and moisturizes my hair so well. I don't like the KCCC but I love this product!!!!

this is my favorite leave-in! i like to use it with the curling custard of course and also eco styler gel because it doesnt give me build up or flakes. also gives excellent slip. the only bad thing is i hate to spend more than $8 on products lol. sorry college budget, but i will continue to buy this unless i find something cheaper that works the same.

OMG ! LOVEEEE THIS PRODUCT !!!! I bought this for $11.99 at Target along with the Kinky Curly Curling Custard which was $15.99 , and just tried them both this morning while getting ready right before going to work . Right now , I'm on a lunch break and I just had to write this review because my hair looks AMAZINGGGGG ! My thick , dry mixture of 3B/3C curls are perfectly defined , moisturized , and smell damn good . I didnt even mind the mild crunch I got because after I scrunched my hair gently , which only takes 2 minutes on my shoulder length hair , my hair was very soft and NO frizz even after the scrunching ! I can't tell you how many looks and compliments I got from both guys and girls as I was heading to work , even my Co-workers were in awe (but then again , people seem to adore my hair no matter what products I have used LOL ) . I'm so glad I decided to give these 2 much-hyped-about products a try , it was so worth it and yes I will be making more purchases of these both after work ! No wonder they always fly off the shelves at my local Target ! :)

This product smells great. I only use about a nickel size amount for my shoulder length fine hair. I don't think it is better than the Curl Junkie leave-in conditioner so I give it 4 curls.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Swear by it!! Detangles amazingly, smells great and doesn't leave a film! I always keep an extra bottle on deck! Great moisturizer too! I use it a lot for WashnGo since I am a fitness instructor. Due to all the sweating i must admit I do need oil and added moisture for my hair but I love this product! On another note, i despise KCCC...yuck!

Wow, this stuff is amazing! I have never put on a detangler or conditioner that works as well as this product. To test it out, I tousled my hair around in the shower and I had plenty of knots. Knot Today, took them out so fast and the best thing is I had no pain while using my wide tooth comb. I used this as a leave in and it made my hair feel really moisturized, and my curls are well defined, soft and bouncy. It smells so nice and it's somewhat pricey, but in my opinion, I think this product is worth the money. I will be using Knot Today daily.

All summer I have been a PJ trying to find a cheaper alternative to KCKT + KCCC. No luck great for protein sensitive curlies too. Only thing that had gave me 3 day hair too. KCKT smells great it's light enough to be used as a LI without product build up or weighing hair down. Even my husband can tell when I use this combo!!! I have the best hair days no matter what the weather is like!

*Used as leave in conditioner...not styler....***Used this in conjunction with the come clean shampoo, Shea Moisture's Curl Enhancing Smoothie and a dollop of Frizz ease curl mouse...and LOVED it! It seems to reduce the amount of single strand knots that I usually get. My curls were soft and defined and bouncy but elongated...though SM's Curl Enhancing Smoothie is absolutely fantastic solo...this seemed to just anchor it. I plan on purchasing again

This is my ONLY go-to product. My hair is so lovely with it. It looks and feels baby soft, it's bouncy, fluffy and has absolutely NO frizz. I use a dime size amount and try to only add it on my roots and then just scrunch until I feel it's even enough. (today was 109 degrees, dewpoint was in the 70's and the humidity was in the 60's and I had an awesome hair day!) Can't ask for much more.

I couldn't be any happier with this product. Definitely a HG. The hype around the product is with good reason. My knots fall out. And my hair is thin and wispy and knots in an instant! BUY!

It definitely does help with de-tangling. I have 3c and a little 4a hair, so I get knots and tangled all the time. I give this 4/5 because my hair had a weird feel when I applied this while my hair was wet. I have no idea how to describe it. It just felt stange. Also, I think it cause my sensitive skin to break out. But my hair combs out a lot easier.

It's ok. Nothing to write home about. Good as a refresher but not at this price point. I didn't see any grand results over just spritzing my hair with water or a cheapie leave-in/detangler. Good for layering or applying before other products but not a necessary product.

There is nothing wrong w/ this product; in fact I love the smell, the natural ingredients, the fact that it's protein free and it detangles well, but it's just not moisturizing enough for me. I have thick, course, almost shoulder length 3b hair and in the 2 months I've been using this w/ curl keeper my hair is drier than normal. I keep switching back to my Ouidad LI, but since I'm having product build up, I'm trying to find an alternative to the 'cones in Ouidad. Unfortunately, KCKT is not it for me.

I really like KCKT. It does what it says it will. It's a great detangler and a very moisturizing leave-in. It, however, doesn't mix the greatest with my gel (I don't use KCCC). That is my only complaint. Great product! and it smells pretty great!

Light moisture but combined with the curling custard WOW these two are my HG for wash and go's nothing else gives me tese amazing results!

This is a great leave-in conditioner when used with the curling custard and the come clean. When I try and use other products with it, it's a no-go. But with at least the custard and the shampoo, it works wonders!! Don't knock it if you haven't tried all the products!

Tried to make it work, wanted it to work, but failed. It's a nice detangler, but no matter what I used over it, once my hair dried it was poufy, frizzy and dry, and kept getting bigger and frizzier as the day went on. This is the only leave in that gave me such disastrous results. Guess there's something in the ingredients my hair hates.

I like the thickness of the product but it didn't help and didn't hurt. I couldn't really see much of a difference.

I absolutely love this product! :) I use it as a leave in conditioner under my gels and it gives me great defined, curl formation. Because it's pricey, I don't use it all the time, but I can always tell the difference when I switch from using any old conditioner to this one. I feel like knots literally melt out of my hair when I apply this, and it give my hair that smooth, seaweed feel. It has a light, coconut scent, that is not my favorite, but not overpowering either.

Pros: smells good, has a good slip Cons: left my hair dry My hair doesn't KCKT or KCCC in terms of moisture :(

I have been using this product for over a year and will never go back to another product. My hair is luxurious and growing so fast my stylist is amazed. I admit - I'm addicted to the smell.....a light cherry scent? Hard to describe and I do NOT like fruity scents as a general rule. Maybe it's not even cherry.....just a wonderful, light scent. I also use the Come Clean shampoo exclusively and since my hair is incredibly healthy and strong over the last year, my husband has switched over and is using these products. Can't say enough about these products. I will note - if you have build up of any kind already on your hair, you might see a white film.....be sure to use the Come Clean shampoo or another clarifier if you see that white build up.....it means your hair wasn't sparkly clean to begin with. This is by far the most moisturizing conditioner I have EVER used.

This fails as a leave-in, but it's a great detangler. has lots of slip and the tangles are easy to comb out after using this. probably wont repurchase, unless my hair is super-tangled.

Love this stuff! I use it as a conditioner in the show and leave in for about 3 to 4 minutes and then rinse out. My hair is bouncy and shiny + tangle FREE!! Great stuff - love the smell and the ingredients.

This is my 1st review on this site. after my recent BC I purchased this product to use as a leave-in condish. I can honestly say that it did what it was supposed to. My 3b/3c/4a hair felt moist and flexable. I didn't like the fact that I had to use so much to really cover my thick hair. I also had a problem getting it to mix with my styling cream. I will continue to experiment with it because i feel it has potential to do great things for my hair.

AWESOME product! I actually came across this product after viewing Kimmaytube's leave-in-conditioner video on youtube. I picked up bottle, used it in her mixture and applied it to freshly shampooed and DC hair right before going to bed. The next morning, my hair felt soft, smooth and didn't have that filmy product build up feel to it. Since then, I've been hooked. I've also used the product alone to moisturize my hair between washes and I've added some of it to my own leave in mixture I carry in a spray bottle. Great, great product!

I LOVE this product I have 4b/c hair and it's very dense and tends to be dry and unruly:( but with kinky curly knot today my hair is soft and moisturized only downside is I use alot of it I wish it was sold in a liter that would be perfect. I f they make a liter I would give this product 5 instead of 4 curls

I really like this conditioner. It’s great for removing tangles and knots in my hair and it smells good. It does dry a little light so I usually have to follow it with shea butter to get the moisture my hair needs. I tried using it with the Curling Custard but ran into a few bumps, but alone with a little shea butter works great as a leave in. Would give the product a 5 curl rating but for the price I wish it came in a larger bottle. Just trying to be economical.

Love it! I use KT as a leave-in and it leaves my hair tangle-free and moisturized and isn't too heavy for my 3a hair

Hands down, the best hair product I have EVER used. I have fine, 3A/2B hair. The dry winter weather here in Colorado is extremely harsh on curlies. Within 2 days of use, however, my hair was MUCH softer, smoother, and had more controlled curls. I put a generous amount on my hair, while it is still sopping wet in the shower. It soaks right in and layers well under any other products. Can't wait to try more products from KC!

I have mostly 4a hair that it detangled well. Not greatly moisturizing but ok. Used it with the Kimmytube leave-in and loved how it made my hair feel and how my short 2 strands came out Very soft and the smell is nice. What I do not like about this product is that it does not mix with other products like pure aloe gel. It left those little white product balls and I had to rinse my hair out. I will only use it if I don't use something else in my hair which is not often.

THIS IS AMAZING!!! I get SO many compliments using this and even though it's pricey, I get at least 3-4 days of wear with only one application! Had to watch a couple of videos on youtube to figure out how to use it the right way, but I tell you, on my 3C hair this stuff works wonders! Try it and you won't be disappointed!!!

There is no better leave-in conditioner than this! It smells great (sweet), its natural, AND it works like a charm! Couldn't ask for anything better. Only a little in each section will truly detangle even the biggest knots. I will keep buying this until they stop making it. (hopefully no time soon)

I really like the way this product works with KCCC and it makes my hair beautiful. My only quam is that I have 4b hair and so I need ALOT of it and thus go through the bottle very quickly. I wish it was either cheaper or came in a liter-sized bottle for like $15

Hands down THE best leave-in conditioner period. it's creamy and non-tacky and has an amazing slip and shine for a silicone-free product. again, i only rate this 4/5 instead of 5/5 because it's very pricy for a leave-in and it does not last me for a long time.

I really enjoyed the smell and the consistency of the product, however, I did not find it moisturizing enough and it is very sticky.

Alright. First off, let me start by saying that I never in my life planned on buying and KC products (I had reasons, but I won't go into it) but I will be getting micro braids tomorrow so I figured that I should deep condition my hair before. As I looked, my eyes fell across th KC shelf at Target. Remembering all the reviews I'd seen about Come Clean and being impressed with the ingredients, I picked up a bottle of that. For good measure, I grabbed a bottle of Knot Today as well. After washing my hair with the shampoo in the shower (I'll touch on that in another review) I put a dollop in my hand (somewhere between a dime and quarter sized amount) and rubbed my palms together. Began running my hands through my hair. WHOA. I was surprised at how effortlessly it soaked into my hair, automatically softening and moisturizing my strands. I broke out my trusty wide toothed comb and got to work detangling...it was so much easier than it usually is to detangle, and it took way less product to do so! My hair's thick and on the bottle it says for coarser curls to use a generous amount...I didn't need generosity in the slightest. A moderate amount is fine. Heck, even a tiny amount makes a remarkable difference! I dc'd afterwards and added a tiny bit to my hair to help comb through again...worked like a charm. The reason I'm giving it a 4 after so many good words? Well, it could've easily been me getting my standard comb back as opposed to a horrible one I've been using for a few weeks that made detangling easier than it's been. It also could've been other factors that helped. I'll keep using it and if it keeps working its magic the way it is I'll most likely repurchase. The way it's looking as of now though, I just may have found a staple :)

I just started using this product and it's a great detangle. I used it in combination with KCCC, but I think that I'll like it better used alone. It does provide good curl definition without using KCCC! Definitely a good buy!

The best leave in I've used thus fat. Moisturizing and detangling. Along with KCCC provides great curl definition and softness for my 3b/c coarse curls.

I NEVER USED ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE! It mad detangling a breeze and when I used it as a leave-in conditioner it defined my curls and coils by itself! Knot Today keeps my hair moisturized and soft to the touch!

Great detangler with excellent slip! However, I do not prefer it as a leave in. Not the most moisturizing IMO.

Based on my rating, I'm not saying its a bad product. However, I found it did not have enough slip as I would have like for detangling my hair. The ingredients are good. It does, fo me, work better as in a combination with shea butter and jojoba oil to make a semi holding gel/ lotion. Its helped hold in my twists and show curl definition. Would I repurchase? Not too sure.

I love it! This detangled my hair perfectly and made my curls nice, smooth, and defined. I did a wash-n-go with ONLY this in my hair and I had less shrinkage and less poofing than normal. First impression is a 5!

Knot for my 4b hair... it left my hair feeling dry. I have very dense tightly coiled hair that loves water. Did more damage than good. If you are a busy 4b. This product is not worth the additional time to get right. The kinky curly curling custard is a must have though.

Never have I had to use less conditioner, but this stuff amazed by boyfriend and me. Both of us, his 4a and me 3b/c had gotten too much out. We had been using herbal essence long term relationship leave in conditioner before going cg method and needed lots of the stuff. This though just a tiny bit does it. I followed with the KCCC and WOW! Shine, defined, and soft. The price is ok given how long this will last. (I had prided myself on drug store only products--Aussie moist conditioner and the HE LI with vital care mousse. I've now upgraded to Whole Foods for my hair products. ;)

This leave-in has it all!! It's organic! It's a very quick detangler! and it's a wonderful leave-in! Your hair comes out feeling silky smooth! (Plus, it smells awesome!) Who could want anything more when you've got Knot Today to work wonders in your hair!?!?

I love this as a moisturizer! I use it whenever I want my curls to be hydrated and don't want to deal with gunk or bad combinations with any other styling products so I use it all the time. Knot Today is amazing.

Where do i start? When I opened it, the sweet smell it me pretty hard. If it's not for you no worries because the smell dissipates. The texture is creamy and slick and once i put it on my head the tangles melted away. The downside..well some may call it an upside but it works too well. My curls were super defined which means I had a LOT of shrinkage. I personally like my big hair I just wish it could be big and the curls defined. This is a great product.

this is my first time using this product and i must say that i love it!! it was easy for me to detangle which usually is a hussle for me because i would usually have the tub full with my tangles mess..but as soon as i use dis product, i didnt leave no mess behind and it was soo easy to detangle..it left my hair super soft and moisturized..i love it and would definitely buying this again...

Hands down, the best conditioner out there. Well worth it. I purchased my second bottle yesterday. Usually, I don't care about brands, but this is it for me. The only reason why I did not give it 5 curls is because my daughter is allergic to it :-(

This is definitely one of the best detanglers I've used in my life! I apply about a tablespoon in my hair and comb through before styling my hair. THE best leave-in/detangler I've found. Just wish it came in a bigger size! I have really thick 3C hair and it will maybe last 2-3 weeks if I don't use it to often.

OMG, this was the best product I have purchased since doing the big chop. It makes my hair easy to style and gives me lots of definition. It last all day long. It is a must have. I buy it my the case. luv luv this product.

This product does what the description says as it detangles my tightly curled hair excellently. The only reason why I did'nt give it 5 curls is because it is not very moisturising. The directions on the bottle say you can leave it in or rinse it out, however, I find that when I leave this product in my hair it becomes dry. I found this an excellent product to use for co-washing my hair. When I use this for co-washing it leaves my hair soft, detangled and clean. It is the best thing I have found for co-washing, it easily removes all grease and product build up from my hair.

This is by far the best stuff I have ever put on my hair. The first time I used it with the Come Clean Shampoo the comb went through my hair like a knife going through soft butter. I've never had that happen before. If you want a consistent detangler/conditioner this is the way to go (but buy plenty!).

I really liked this product. I did find that I could not apply it with great results on damp hair. My hair best absorbed the product when it was soaking wet. It smells delightful, and works well under most things. Most of all, I appreciate how light the product is. My hair didn't feel weighed down, which left me the flexibility in styling.

Okay, so I tried this for the first time today, due largely in part to all the rave reviews. I've heard (read) before that the scent is comparable to cherries, but I didn't care for the smell of my particular bottle--reminded me of pineapple. Not so cool... but other than that, it DOES do what it's meant to do: detangle. I would actually recommend Darcy's Botanicals Vanilla Delight Leave-In over this product because it comes in the same exact size; costs the same amount; smells better; detangles just as well; and provides more moisture. I don't think I'll be repurchasing this one, but if you're looking for slip, I think you've found it.

I love this product! It works in great extensions with the other kinky-curly products, and make it so easy to detangle. I also like to use this as a hair creme mix, where i mix it together with oils and sheabutter. It makes my hair so soft, and its good to styling. And it smells fantastic, this product have the most amazing smell on earth!

I purchased this product along with the custard and the come clean shampoo...this is the best leave-in conditioner that I've ever used. I love the pleasant smell and everything! EXCELLENT product for my 4b hair!

3a,b,c and 2c at the nape. This is the top of the line for hair conditioners. I have used this with Kinky-Curly Custard and I Love the results. Even alone Kinky-Kurly Knot Today is a wonderful product for my curls. Very moisturizing, no stiff or greasy feel and smothing results.

One of my absolute favorite products. This conditioner supplies great results on everyone I have personally known to use it. It has a nice fresh natural smell that is not overpowering. It leaves the hair feeling soft and moisturized and is great for detangling. You can rinse out completely and follow with your favorite products or lightly rinse and use as a leave-in/moisturizer. Very versatile and little goes a long way. Only drawback is that like the other Kinky Curly products is the price. But if you only get one thing, get this!

This product goes a long way and performs the way it is advertised. I only wish it was more moisturizing for my dry, fine hair. I have not found a better LI product at this time, but will always stay on the look out for my HG product! Just as a disclaimer I have to say that this is the first made for curlies hair product that I've tried, and is the only reason I am looking at other products.

Lives up to the hype. Works beautifully with the Curling Custard, and using the entire Kinky Curly system together gave me beautiful, moisturized 2nd day hair (which is rare for me). It also neutralizes the drying effect of the Come Clean shampoo.

Just by adding a little oil and aloe vera, it makes it wonderful and my hair is still moisturized on the third day. Lasts much longer too. To Summarize: Awful = itself Wonderful = add aloe vera + oils

This. Is. Awesome! So smoothing, so moisturising, but light enough to use as a leave-in on fine hair. I think I am a customer for life! (Handily enough, the bottle neck is the same size as the CURLS products, so using one of their pump lids helps me control amounts better, and makes the bottle last much longer.)

I would give this a 1, but it could be user-error. I really like the Curly Custard and saw the great review for this product, so I (the products junky) trotted back to Whole Foods for Knot Today, much to my surprise my hair was extremely tangly. I lost more hair during my detangling session than I had for a long time. I am going back to my old routine.

This leave in is probably one of the best I've used so far for my 3c curls. Even if I use this as my base leave in no matter what other product I am going to use as my styler. It really is wonderful and the smell is great too!

This is a wonderful condtioner, it smells great and has lost of slip and leaves my hair very soft and easy detangled. As for defining my curls it does nothing.

Yup-I am with everyone. This is one GREAT product. I use it with the whole system and my hair is just fun. Easy to take care of and no FRIZZ.

I love this product! I BC'd about a month ago and I have very dry heat damaged hair. The Knot Today works to soften my hair as best as anything can right now. My hair is so so badly damaged that I will need to BC again once I grow out another couple of inches but at least for now the KCNT has helped tremendously in sealing in what little moisture my hair will retain. I can't wait to experience the results on healthy hair.

Kinky Curly is truly a lifesaver for me. I recently did the big chop almost a month ago and my hair was so dry. I started reading on different blogs how people take care of hair especially TWA and a lot of people said Kinky Curly Today and Curly Pudding. I use them both every morning and I get great results everytime.

My hair is short and really doesn't get tangled with the products I'm currently using it. I was using this product just before and after I got my Big Chop and went all natural, but then I switched to the products my stylist used on my hair and recommended I continue to use. I am keeping the remainder of what's in the bottle around for when my hair grows out and I may need it in addition to what I'm using now. When my hair was longer and unhealthy, it did detangle my hair and made a good attempt of retaining moisture in my super dried out hair.

Wow! I definately love this conditioner! I just received it in the mail yesterday, and I was really excited to try it. I have read all the reviews, and I was very curious. It made my hair so soft and easily detangled right on impact. I used it as a leave in and it felt so soft. I followed with the KCCC, and I didn't feel any crunch at all.I will definately purchase this again.

Not quite a "5 curl" product for me, but I still like it. I wanted to try a new leave-in for the summer, and since I love KCCC so much I thought it'd give it a try. I get a little bit of frizz when I use this, maybe because it's not quite moisturizing enough for me, but it does provide AMAZING slip.

Best detangler; excellent slip!!! I applied the Knot Today to soaking wet hair and WOW the detangling properties were amazing!!! However, after adding the Curling Custard and allowing my hair to air dry my hair started to feel a little dry as the day went on. For better results with 4a hair, it seems as though this leave-in/detangler may need to be layered over something else a tad bit heavier. My most stellar results for washNgo's thus far have been with 1) applying either Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root Butter Cream or Ouidad Moisture Lock Leave-in to soaking wet hair, 2) add Knot Today, 3) detangle and 4) sparingly add the Curling Custard. I end up with moistured, defined curls with nice hold and the ability to pull off 2nd day hair which is rare for me.

The best darn leave-in conditioner out there! My curls are frizz free, have a lot more definition, shine and just look healthier. Also it makes my hair feel heavier without weighing it down. On top of it I use it before straightening and my hair it makes them so shiny and no dry, split ends. One thing to mention you don’t need a lot of it, which makes it that much better.

My 3b hair loves this product! On the first use, my shower comb glided like silk through my hair. I follow the recommendation for tighter curls and use it to detangle in the shower, do NOT rinse, and use it as a leave-in conditioner (in one use!). I try not to towel dry too much and let kcnt do its job. My curls have never felt so soft and defined without additional product and I don’t buy separate conditioners for the shower and leave-in anymore. I use the shampoo too and love them both. Highly recommended!

I hated this product completely. Not only was it overpriced (because there's nothing special in it) and I had to go out of my way to even find it, but it also did nothing for my hair. No moisture, no coil definition, not even the detangling it claims to do so well. If I could give this a zero, I would because even the scent was unpleasantly cheap and artifical. This product was a complete waste of money--it didn't even work well as a shaving cream for my legs.

so I just started my cg routine, I tried kcnt and I must say that I'm getting great results, but you have to use the kccc after to get the most effective results, I am 3b/3c btw...

Hair Type: 4b I have tried this product alone and in conjunction with the curling custard and I must say...I did not like it. It made my hair feel rough and I could not find the "slip" everyone was talking about who praised this product. I gave it 2 curls only because it works well with the curling custard and it did help to define my curls but it was not soft at all.

I love this conditioner! I only need a small amount to detangle my curls! A must have product! Much better than the Curls products and Miss Jessie's stuff I have purchased in the past. I am a loyal fan!

Superior detangler!! Melts knots like nobody's business. A MUST USE underneath the KCCC and works synergistically with it.

Follow the instructions carefully and you, will be amazed. My hair was a hot dry mess b4 this product. Definitely works better when hair is wet of course. First time, I applied when wet after co-washing it. It detangles wonderfully! I didn't even use a comb! I used my fingers! 2nd and 3rd day. I just spritz with water, then applied it and the KinkyCurly Pudding. The puddling gave it that extra gloss and it helped elongate my tight curls. is It's gonna be a while 'til I run out because a tablespoon amount is all you need if you have short to shoulder length hair. I used to have to glop a large amount of product to get it into shape. It's been 6 days since I've used it, and I haven't even made a dent! In fact after the 4th day, I didn't put any in. I just freshen it up with a spritz bottle full of Castor Oil, Distilled Water, and a couple drops of little fragrant oil because castor oil is stinky. My hair feels a little crunchy, but compared to what my hair felt and looked like several days ago, I take crunch anyday!

Having tried a wide assortment of leave-in conditioners, Knot Today has become my #1. And used together with KC Curling Custard, it's about as good as it gets! I'm a 3b - fine corkscrews...it is truly effective and reliable -- and smells heavenly!

I actually wake up excited to use the Kinky Curly system!! Best curls ever. Last all day, but you have to use knot today with he custard. Oh and if you have other products in your hair it won't work so was them out with kinky curly come clean!!!! Don't try to get around it follow directions.

I LOVE IT! I find that for me a little goes a long way. its very moisturizing and my hair absorbs it well when smoothed in.

Light enough to not weigh my fine 3a curls down, but good at retaining moisture. When combined with KCCC, it is my HG.

I like it. I honestly can't say it's BETTER than Be Curly by Aveda. I've been using that since I started going natural. It's way cheaper and since I'm in love with the Kinky Curly custard I decided to stick with the same line.

I tried this product twice. Unfortunately, my hair was more tangled and dry than before I washed it. The good thing is there are now many products available for us curly girls. So, if one product line doesn't work for you there are others that will. :) I have been using the Deva Curl line and Wen lavender oil and LOVE it. So, good luck to all of you.

I honestly believe this product caused breakage for me. It left my hair so dry, hair was just breaking while I was combing through after I washed.

It really detangles my 3c/4a/4b hair with such silkiness! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because you usually have to use it with the come clean shampoo in order for it to be the most beneficial in detangling, at least that's what I have to do.

This is not the kind of leave in that I usually look for as I prefer a creamy texture, but OMG CAN THIS STUFF DETANGLE! It was recommended to me and I have recommended it in turn with great results. It definitely helped me through a rough point in my transitioning when the tangles became too much to bear.

I think this is a good conditioner. It does have a smooth and silky feeling to it. I used it as a leave-in conditioner and with kinky curly curling custard. Overall it smells great, but it isn't a "holy grail" product for me..

My hair type is a 4B. I love it. Can't live w/o it. Haven't tried many other leave in's, but this was one of the first and I love it! Detangles well. I would def. recommend this leave in.

I have fine, thin hair and it does not weigh down my hair at all. At first I thought the scent was too much but I guess I am used to it, it seems fresh to me.

This stuff is great. It is well worth the price. It did not do so well as a rise out conditioner. Maybe I was not suppose to try it that way, but on my damp or towel dried hair it was great as a leave-in conditioner. Completely detangled my mop head.

This stuff is awesome. I use to use BioSilk and it left my hair feeling oily. I like everything about Kinky Curly the smell, the feel and the fact that you only have to use a very small amount, so the bottle lasts forever. My hair has had a smoother feel, less fly-aways, a rich look and it never has that oily look or feel.

I love this stuff! I'm transitioning and I use this product with all my styles. It untangles my hair and leaves it soft. WIN!

This stuff smells just as great as the kinky curly custard, and detangles very nicely with not as many "ouchies", as usual. It also makes your hair really soft.

I loove the way this smells. Great as a leave-in, regular conditioner and as a styler when I don't feel like using a gel. It defines curls and leaves them soft. It would be great if KC made a curling creme with most of these ingredients, then incorporated one or two more ingredients for hold.

I was bit skeptical about this product but after purchasing it I can't complain. I have 4b hair that drinks everything up, but this leaves my hair manageable and soft even after it DRIES. It's even better with a little coconut oil.

This is the first leave-in that's worked for me for as long as I can remember. I bought it because after reading the reviews of KCCC, it seems like it would work best when paired with this. I actually needed a leave-in anyway, either they all have cones or don't do anything at all. I haven't used it as a regular conditioner yet, but it gives so much slip! Not much is needed at all, though I had to replace my bottle after I was about 1/4 of the way through my tub of KCCC. It has a light kind of cherry-almond smell that isn't strong, just pleasant. The consistency is also great, creamy but light and easy to spread and distribute. I'll be sticking with this conditioner for as long as they keep making it!

I have fine, soft, mainly 3b (some 3a and 3c) curls. KC products don't seem to be working for my hair. The KCCC was a disaster after various applications, which is how I ended up with the KT. This product is ok-ish. I have had better luck with a number of other leave-in and rinse-out conditioners. Disappointed that have almost-full tub of KCCC and almost full bottle of KT that can't use. KC need to make testers like Curl Junkie. I love Curl Junkie!

Excellent slip and conditioner! Does not leave build up and elongates curls beautifully! I use with curl keeper and Fantasia IC gel.

i use the Knot Today..i was using the Kccc, but replaced it with Ecostyler gel..I love to co wash my hair daily with v05 condtioner..the knot today works great with the ecostyler gel, so I will be using this condtioner with that gel.

For all the ladies out there with very kinky-curly hair, this product is a must-have! When I am not in the shower with rich-creamy conditioner in my hair, I use Knot Today to detangle my hair. I spritz my hair with my water and vegetable glycerin mix and then start to apply Knot Today in my hair and detangle it. I also use Knot Today as a great leave-in before applying my Fantasia IC gel in the mornings. It prevents dryness and makes my hair VERY easy to manage, define, and style. It is reasonably priced as well. What more can I say?

I am a new use of the kc line. This detangles well, smells good, and doesn't have silicones-obvious or hidden. My hair stays very hydrated for much longer with this and kccc.

this is the BEST leave-in EVER. i bought it because of the ratings and was not disappointed. i bought 2 bottles at whole foods. worth the price!! i am a frizzy 3a and this is sooo moisturizing and not greasy at all! love it!!!

This has been the best summer leave-in conditioner for me. With this 100 degree hot dry weather it is great! Lots of moisture and works with any product that I put over it. Big Love for this one.

I have fine soft 4 a/b hair & I tried this stuff twice ; once on a small patch of hair & the 2nd time a week later on my whole head to make sure I hadn't made mistakes.It was crunchy the first time & horrible the 2nd time .It made my hair hard, wiry & brittle & made the curls shrink up to the point where it COULD NOT be detangled. I had to wash it all out & then do a hot oil treatment to get my hair to feel normal again. The shampoo is good & the curling cream is great...I got some pretty little spiral curls...,but my hair cannot take Knot Today.It seems to be very astringent or something. From now on I use the curling cream ALONE or with a different leave in.

Works great as a leave-in detangler, but paired with the KCCC, I didn't get the great results I was expecting. Hoping pairing it with a stronger style agent will give better hold. But for what it is, it worked.

I love this stuff! I have 3c hair and have been told by my hairstylist over the years that I could not wash and wear my hair! When my stylist looked and felt my hair she said "I am loving the curls!" My hair is soft, smells good, and I can say goodbye to pressing combs! Hallelujah!!!!!

An excellent detangler, but not enough moisturizing benefit when used alone. Left my hair frizzy, dry, and parched as the Sahara. When used in conjunction with KCCC, though, is an excellent foundation product. Makes the CC glide on easier and they work together well for excellent curl definition. In addition, when used with the CC the custard balances it out to provide the much needed moisturizing effect. Will only purchase again as a companion product for the KCCC, but for days when I need a leave-in only or a leave-in to pair with another styler I'll use something else.

I really love this product. I have 4a/4b hair that is coily and this product worked beautifully. For my regimen i would have my stylist double strand twist my hair. Next throughout the course of the hairstlye life (2-3 weeks) i would have the shower water beat through my hair then apply the leave in (don't rinse). By the time the 4 week rolls around i just untwist my hair and rock a mean twist out. This product kept my hair soft and moisturized.

Tangles just melt away with this product. Leaves my hair soft. I do wish it provided more moisture but otherwise I'm happy with the product.

Won 5 curls because it makes my hair soft! So soft :) and moisturized... it works for now. I have extremely thick hair and I’ve only had it for about a week and I’ve already used 2/3 of the bottle:( Truth is since I used it, it's been a lot easier to comb through with my comb in the shower when I plan to deep condition. That first use drained about half of it. However, it is true that its detangling properties could be further improved upon. I love this product and will continue to use it, buy it and leave it in :)

This is the best product I've tried thus far! About 7 months ago, I cut off my mid-back length dreadlocs & decided to go natural. Two months into it I was SO fed up with the thickness of my unruly hair, that I chemically texturized it. Now that I'm better educated in haircare, I'm revisiting the natural thing again. This product is the ONLY thing that allows me to EASILY and PAINLESSLY comb thru the few inches of new growth. Plus, it keeps it all SO soft and surprisingly moisturized for the little amount used(even the damaged overprocessed parts). I use it as a leave-in (w/a bit of Curling Custard) & as an extra detangling boost with my regular co-wash condish. I literally can't stop touching my hair & it smells amazing! I also can't believe I'm down to a 2 step hair process now!

Kinky Curly Knot Today Conditioner is the best conditioner in the world! Knot Today may be the reason I am still natural. I was having a hard time getting even a wide tooth comb through my hair. Knot Today made detangling a snap and leaves it soft and moisturized. As long as Kinky Curly maintains their integrity and does not start tampering with the ingredients, I will be a life long customer.

I really like the knot today I think that it is a staple to the KCCC.I always use this with the kccc. Sometime when using you think that your hair is hard and crunchy it's really not it just looks that way. But after 3 and 4 days of wear your hair is very soft. Even when your not using your hair will still continue to be soft. You only have to use a little in connection with the kccc because if you use to much of both, It will leave a white sticky residue. But overall it is a great product.

this product was great with the KCCC...i nver tired it alone but im sure its just as good...it detangles so good...this stuff and KCCC is a miracle i never thought this day would come...it smells good too..great stuff!!!!

I like this product but it is not enough moisturizing on its own. Combined with the KCCC, I have great results.

This product was okay. I will definitely not be purchasing this product again. It would not fully absorb into my hair. I gave it 2 curls because it did smell good and made it soft.

I love the smell of this and it does make my hair supersoft. Only draw back is finding the right amount to aply too much and it leaves my hair on the lank side - feels weird when wet but once dry it's fine

When I first put this conditoner on my wet hair, I thought it was just like any other conditoner/detangler, but after I let it sit on my hair for about 5 minutes, I noticed in the mirror that my hair looked like it absorbed everything, my hair felt softer, and my curls looked plump, well hydrated. I have used other conditoners that it looked as if it sat on top of my hair, not being absorbed. Not this. I think I need to try it again to get a better feel of the product. But I also think that as I use it more, my hair will start to not be as dry and tangled. I think I will try other leave in detanglers on this website so I can make a better comparison

Works well with Kinky curly curling custard. However, so does my other leave in conditioners.

Knot today is a good conditioner in shower but it is not a good leave in conditioner.

Great product used as a leave in. The comb glides through my wet hair without effort and the end result for me is lovely defined soft curls. I do however prefer using this with Kinky Curly Custard for optimum curl performance.

I am having great success with this product, it allows me to get 3rd and 4th day hair when used along with Curling Custard.

My hair is no longer super dry after using this leave-in after washings a for touch ups every other day. My hair is instantly silkened when I apply this and after using it for a few weeks my hair texture is smoother and I actually see what I would call curls! I didn't know my hair was so pretty after being called nappy all my life.

THIS IS A KEPPER! I love this product. After the first time that I bought this product I bought it twice afterwards and I intend to keep on buying it. After I co-washed and deep condition my hair, I then use this to help put the finishing touches on my defined curl! It provides a light hold without being heavy or taking a long time to dry. I don't even have to use the the Curling Custard any more.

This is an excellent leave-in conditioner. I have 3b, 3c, 4a One side is wavy, one side, the back, and top is curly, but the middle of my head is course. I have to use the Knot Today on the course section of my hair long with the KCCC. It works wonders. The only thing is my hair takes a long time to dry. Almost all day. Is also leaves my hair nice and soft. It moisturizes my hair and dries a little crunchy, but that comes out as soon as you crunch the hair. I use it faithfully.

I don't find it to be as moisturizing to my hair as I thought it would be. Also, its detangling properties could be slightly improved upon as well!

Fabulous! Anything that can actually soften and detangle my thick coils is great. Not to mention that its a leave-in that doesnt weigh my hair down..I love not having knots!!

This is definitely a replacement for my ABBA Nourishing Leave-On Moisturizer. It is so light, easy to distribute, detangling & moisturizing! And the scent is great too.

This is the greatest detangler ever. I love, love, love it. It left me with no tangles at all. It smells great too. Much better that the Curling Custard. I reccomend it for anyone with kinks or curls.

I want to review the Kinky Curly Come Clean Shampoo but don't know how since it is not listed so I am doing it here. I haven't tried the Knot Today Conditioner but I love the shampoo.I have very dry hair and wanted a sulfate free shampoo to use every day. I don't like shampooing every few days since my hair is thin and extremely frizzy and for some reason it gets really frizzy if I just use conditioner. Anyway, this shampoo smells wonderful, a little goes a long, long way and it makes my hair unbelievably soft and moisturized. I am Caucasin but my hair is 3a and fine. This shampoo is well worth the money. When I run out of my other conditioner I might try the Kinky Curly conditioner.

I used this today and have the best hair today. Great shine and softness. Nice smell - coconut-y with a hint of citrus. This stuff detangles the mess out of your hair. Great price too. I'm in love!

I didn't have very good luck using this under anything other than the Curling Custard. That said, underneath the KCCC I get soft, defined curls that last through the next day -- in fact, this is the only thing that'll give me 2nd-day hair. While Knot Today isn't very versatile, it is fantastic at what it was made to do.

I think the purchase of this leave-in is useless without the KCCC. It's moisturizing abilities are borderline. I think it would work great for finer haired curlies that don't require as much moisture or weight as opposed to a CG with thicker hair. Way too light. I felt that it was missing the one ingredient that it is known for not having. OIL!

This product is one of the few leave-ins that makes Kinky Curly Curling Custard work like a charm for me. It also works under other gels, but the true synergy is with KCCC. It's oil-free and gives me soft, moist, clumpy curls. It's like a moisture cushion for the Curling Custard.

Excellent detangler - even better than EMBC for detangling for me. This is a thinner conditioner which takes some getting used to. It doesn't have the slippery seaweedy feel that some would expect for a nice detangler, ut don't be fooled. This stuff melts knots and tangles. Appropriately named! Makes a nice leave in too as it is a lighter formula.

In my opinion, it takes forever to dry and even afterwards, hair is still frizzy. The worst thing is, that Curling custard. A waste of time and money. It left me with white flaky stuff. Will never buy it again.

I love this product. It allows my wide tooth comb to glide right through my usually hard-to-detangle hair. It also gives me a good bit of moisture, smells great, and boosts shine.

It's a good detangler. I tried it with the Curling Custard and think the Custard is a waste of time and money but I like Knot Today. And I too would only buy it again for the smell. I have moisturizers at home that provide the samw effect and I can get them at the local hair supply store instead of paying shipping and handling.

Its a good leave in, has a very slippery consistency and provides good slip to the hair. It works very well with the Curling Custard to aid in curl definition. When I tried it alone it worked well but was comparable to other leave ins I have tried. I gave it three curls for its slip and for how well it works with the custard. Oh yeah,it smells good too..If I purchase again that will be the only reason why.
