laurabeth33 - Hair Type: 2b This was not a friend of my 2b/3a waves/curls. It added shine, but it felt heavy and gunky-feeling, even when I only used a teensy, itty-bitty bit. It didn't help with frizz or clumping or curls (actually pulled them out some). It was also very hard to remove from my hands after applying and later my hair.
asmeik - Hair Type: This was my first Miss Jessie's product and I was really excited to try it, even though I've read a lot of mixed reviews on their products. "Thankfully" I was able to purchase a 2oz sample size (retail price: $9...for a 2oz sample! I should have known better) I want my money back. I didn't like anything about this product. In my reviews I try to give the pros and cons but I couldn't think of any pros here. First it smells awful - an overwhelming, cloying scent that seems to be an odd mixture of Pepto-Bismol and Johnson's baby lotion (no kidding). It left my hair feeling heavily coated and greasy. I tried it on both damp and dry hair and it didn't seem to moisturize either way. And its no wonder, just look at the ingredients. Bees Wax? Mineral oil and petrolatum? I'd think the people at Miss Jessie's would know better. These ingredients, and a few others in here, coat the hair and don't allow moisture in, they leave built-up on hair and scalp and they attract dirt and dust. Besides, mineral oil and petrolatum are cheap industrial products that should not be in a product that costs this much. And who can get past that price!

Tkellie - Hair Type: 4a I was rushing to my local retailer to get the bbc because this was the product of miss jessies I didn't have and they were down to there last two. But anyway I was to late so when I brought the rapid recovery I recieved the sample pack free. So when I tried the bbc I wasn't quite sure now since my last review of the curly buttercreme I wasn't sure of how to use that one but now I have found out how to use the cbc I have actually fell in love with the curlybuttercreme it makes your hair soft & manageable. So now that I have the baby buttercreme it dosen't smell all that sweet and edible like it says it does. I think that the cbc works better than the bbc. cbc it has a minty smell but it late turn into a cocobutter smell. Overall I still think the baby buttercreme is okay I gave it a 4 for softness I stil think that this stuff is way to over priced like $58 just get the 8oz It last just as long or get a couple of 2oz but they do provide softness that does last a couple of days and a soft hairline if you know how much to use of this product. I would recommens if your hair is thr type that needs to be hydrated alot for dryness and brittle hair.

StepNOut - Hair Type: 3b This product helped me through some rough patches with my hair. As, whenever my hair needed to be recharged or revitalized I would put this stuff in my hair and almost instantly my hair would start looking better.
The scent of the product could be better and the price of it is on the high side. However, it is still a really decent product nonetheless!

Iheartmykurlz - Hair Type: 3b This smells good enough to eat. My hair is bit dryer than most so I thought this would make it soft....NOPE! It was just as rough but greasy. I would leave grease prints all over the headrest in the car and on sofas like I had a jerry curl! I also felt like it gave me acne around my hairline. Too darn expensive and greasy and hair does not get soft.

GuyanaGal718 - Hair Type: I like this product, and i find it does a nice job with laying down my unruly hairline. They smell is pretty good too. I dont use much, because i use it on such a small section of hair. It works okay, definately not worth $58. If it were $50 cheaper I would buy it.

ra372008 - Hair Type: 4b I don't agree with the one curl comments on this product. This product supplies so much moisture, that you don't need to use so much. And for me I think that is great. This product is true to the advertisement. It does lengthen your curls and moisturizes. I am also very sensitive with my nose, that is why I use this product only in the daytime. So I don't sleep with the scent in my nose. This is a product I will stick with.

sommer - Hair Type: 3c This product is awesome for renewing the suppleness of my curls. My hair tends to get very dry and is the only product that really adds moisture. I use it daily to keep my hair vibrant, shiny and moist. My hair feels so good after I apply it (wet or dry).

Suburbanbushbabe - Hair Type: 4a I'm told this has a babypowder type smell, but there was something in the fragrance that irritated my sensitive nose. The product itself was sort of coating; my hair did not absorb it.

eclipse05 - Hair Type: 3c I love this product for my hair and my 20 month old daughter. We're both 3c's although her curls are a tad tighter than mine. It makes her hair shiny, soft and very moisturized w/o being slick or leaving oil on your hands if you touch it. I find the product a tad too rich for my own hair, so I use a tiny bit in combination with a different moisturizing lotion.

ssamadhi - Hair Type: 3c This is as good or even better than the original buttercreme. It does not have the peppermint smell and is very moisturinzing. The pudding and meringue are really too drying for me. I have 3b/c hair that is quite dry. This really helps and last 2-3 days if you sleep in a scarf.
