laurabeth33 - Hair Type: 2b With this product, I had lots of "rope frizz" (looks like the coarse pieces that stick out from rope) and staticky frizz. When I applied it, my hair felt waxy. I also had minimal curls so it weighed my hair down.

lauram940 - Hair Type: 3c After using and loving the curly pudding I decided to give the curly meringue a try. When I used it on my hair it's hold was a little lighter then the pudding and it had a little more bounce but I perfer a stronger hold. also I didnt really like the smell, but thats just me because to me it smells like banana's and I do not like banana's but it still gives a very nice curl and sheen. it works better on my daughters hair which is a 3a/3b.

MzCJA - Hair Type: 4a This stuff has a hold like cement. The curly pudding has nothing on this. I did my twist with this and when it dried I thought if I squeezed my hair it would break like ashes and I didn't even use alot. *shrugs*

Choqlatqt - Hair Type: 4a Very drying and leaves my curls more thirsty and crunchy than before the product was put in my hair. Absolutely not!

lteefaw - Hair Type: If you have 4a hair don't waste you money. The ingredients that are listed on naturallycurly is the old formula.
The new fomrula contains parafinium liquidum which is MINERAL OIL. A product that will stuck the life right out of 4a hair.
My niece has 3c hair and this product works great on her hair.
I so wish Miss Jessie's would go back to there old formula's.

bahbii - Hair Type: 4a I love the way my hair looks when I put this product on freshly cleaned and conditioned hair that is soaking wet -- I get the prettiest, shiniest, well-defined curls. BUT, when my hair dries with this product, I get super dry, crunchy, hard, untouchable hair. I was so disappointed, because things started out so well. I can't use this product on my delicate 4a curls, because after it dries, it feels like my hair will crack and break off. I'm surprised to hear some say that it is moisturizing. From my experience, it sucked ALL the moisture out of my hair -- it took several deep conditioning treatments for my hair to feel normal and moisturized again. I'm giving it 2 curls because it at least starts out looking pretty. MJ needs to find a way for the product to maintain the look you can create with this cream without the extremely, drying effects.

smbrooks96 - Hair Type: 3b I have 3b curls and the Curly Meringue is too heavy! It makes the curls stiff and totally drys out my hair. The only time I can get any use from it is if I am in a rush to get my hair staying in one place (when don't have time to wet and re-dry). But even after doing that I have to immediately wash it out the same night.

jerseygirl - Hair Type: 3c I love this stuff! It took my 3c hair to a whole another level and I never looked back. MJ Curly Meringue and the MJ Butter Cream is the two products I can't live without.I have well define curls with MJ Curly Meringue. It gives me softness, shine and lots of moisture. MJ Butter Cream gives me a dose of daily moisture. It cost a more but it guarantees me my style everytime.

Tkellie - Hair Type: 4a OMG!!! I HAVE ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE.I think this is a great product I love the way my hair looks after using the CM. Your hair is not hard it provides a little moisture I think so far this one is the best for the MJ CURLY PRODUCTS. I definitely will be purchasing this one again. If you haven't tried it yet try it you'll love it. It has kind of a wierd smell but it doesn't smell either. Smell of some kind of exoctic lemon fagrance.

glad2bnappy - Hair Type: 3c Luv this stuff! It is a little heavy for my hair, but I think it was designed for more resistant hair. This product works great when I am wearing my hair back and with my "troubled areas". And its a great moisturizer. This is my favorite Miss Jessies product.

KinkyPJ - Hair Type: Hmmm, I not sure what to make of this. It didn't work like the photos on Miss Jessie's site. But I used it for a two strand twist on my sis' hair and that style is still talked about today (2 years later). I used the rest to do a curly afro do and I loved it.
Caution: It tends to flake a bit.

sommer - Hair Type: 3c Great for my hair. Like most, my hair has several textures. The top portion is more wavy, while the middle and bottom is tightly curled. So I use this for my curls up top and use Curly Pudding for the bottom portion of hair. It works great!!

vangrey - Hair Type: 3b this IS the best curl creme ever!!! it relaxes my frizzes and defines my curls with a light hold. It lives my hair shiny and soft. I love this creme! i prefer the older version than the newer one that contains mineral oil because it dries out my curls something fierce

trj1922 - Hair Type: 3c Curly Meringue is great for my primarily 3C hair. It nixes the frizz and defines kinky curls beautifully without making the hair "crunchy." This is my curly Afro puff product.
