This is just an over priced co-wash. It might seem like a miracle for those new to cowashing (suave coconut seemed like a miracle to me when I first started) but in the end, any CG friendly conditioner can perform as well or better for a fraction of the cost. If you're thinking about trying this, read about the CG method and try some cheaper alternatives first.

4b-c. I have been using wen about 6 months. I buy the gal size from shopping channel that's only offered once a year. I use fig and I would not trade this product for any other and lord knows I have a basket full of product that I don't use. To be able to comb thru my hair when wet with ease is worth the money I spend on the product. I suggest give up something like coffee everyday or anything to try this product. It is the best product on the market.

This is another staple of mine. I wash my hair twice per week with Wen, and I use about 1/2 a pump as a leave in conditioner. I smells divine and makes my hair so soft. I have tried many sulfate free shampoos and nothing compares to Wen.

Wonderful product, there is nothing out there that compares, and I've tried everything. My fairly long, fine, normal porosity/density/elasticity, color treated (red), dry hair hasn't been in this good of condition in over 20 years. I don't use the recommended amount of product; I use 2 pumps for the crown, nape and 2 sides; then 1 pumps as a leave-in, and only wash twice a week so the product lasts a long time. My hair is soft, shiny, full of body, and my red hair color isn't fading nearly as quickly as with other products. This is a truly life changing product for me, I hope they never stop making it.

I tried Wen Sweet Almond Mint from a friend. I felt like my hair was moisturized really well, but then it hung a little limp from it. The bottle suggests smoothing a little bit through as a leave-in product, but it didn't do anything to define my curls. It's not for me.

I decided to try WEN to see what the fuss was about. The smell is lovely (I purchased the Sweet Almond Mint) and it did make my hair feel very soft; however, I've decided not to purchase it again simply due to the fact after owning it for 1 week I have used 3/4 of the bottle. I used the amount per the directions and only co-washed with it 2-3 times a week. I used 1-3 pumps as a leave in in the morning and at night after I rinsed out my hair for the night. Even if I used 1/2 the recommended amounts a bottle would have lasted me maybe 2 1/2 weeks. I really can not justify paying $40 for a product that doesn't last that long. I also found the scent has diminished and it's not as strong as it was when I first opened the bottle. Would I recommend this? Sure, it's worth trying, you never know it may just be the product you've been searching for, but for me, my quest continues....

wen has been a great product on my hair! normal shampoos and conditioners leave my hair dry and frizzy and cause it to puff in to a unmanageable afro but wen controls it and keeps it soft and beautiful. I recommend it over others

This product was great! I get really frizzy hair but this system turned it into luscious curls (even when I was in middle america, very humid) I would use this any day and the smell is great! Would recommend to anyone with curly hair.

This is by far the best hair product I've used. My hair is a type 4ab. It made my hair very soft and tangle free. I love the was it feels. However, it is expensive and I wish I could get it at some discounted price. I hope I continue to like it. A good hair product like a stylist is hard to find.

I have fine 3bish color treated hair. I just ordered this product and used it for the first time this morning. I have to say it is not what I expected in a good way. This beats any cleansing conditioner that I have used in the past. It actually made my scalp feel clean and gave me root volume that I was lacking. It also made my hair very soft. The smell is nice and minty but not in an overpowering way that I was waiting for. I am sold on this product and can't see myself using anything else as a cleansing agent.

Smells good, feels good, cleans ok. Cost too much!!! Have to use too much!! I can get the same results with a cheap conditoner like Suave. Not moisturizing enough to use as a leave-in at all. Nothing but an expenisive co-wash.

This is awesome. I tried this along with the sweet almond and mint oil. Amazing. My natural hair is so refreshed. I have tangly hair and it helps me go right throough it and leaves a great smell and shine. I actually left mine on for a few hours. I went to the wen website and got a full kit for even cheaper and i love it

I love love love this product. This is the Goldilocks of cleansers. Some thicker no-poos would weigh down my hair, some sulfate free latherers would dry it out. This one is JUST RIGHT. I love the tingly sensation from it as I normally have a itchy scalp and this seems to relieve it. This is my cleanser, my conditioner, and my leave in. Sometime is my hair is really dirty I will need a second wash, but overall I couldn't be happier.

I have been using this to con wash and then as a leave in conditioner. Rinse out after the wash, then put lots in soaking wet hair. Then add quarter of g. Fruitis curl cream, plot, diffuse. Works great. Curls really soft and hold well. I work out everyday so don't get second day hair.

I'm glad to see all the great ratings. I ordered Wen in January. At first I had mix feelings. However, it takes a while getting used to but this is not an every day product to use on your hair. I've been blowdrying the front and setting the back with curly waves. Its been looking beautiful. The style does last for a couple of days. You can really tell the difference with other conditioners. The only thing that set me back as well was that they jipped me with the automatic delivery and I didn't want it. I'm gonna order it from here.

I absolutely LOVE this junk. The only problem I have is the price. I know it's got a cone listed on the ingredients list, but most posts on this site concur that it's water soluble at least... at first I didn't like this product, but I went back to it and find that it works really well (probably because of all the cones I'd been using.) I like this scent the best of all the WEN products; however, the Fig formula may be a bit more moisturizing. But the Almond Mint smells the best, and totally eliminates the need for shampoo, conditioner, and deep conditioner. My 3C hair loves to bathe in this stuff (very moisturizing without being greasy), but my wallet would probably not agree. If you have the patience, this has the potential for being a very good detangler.

I've seen the commercials and wanted to try this. I am glad I had a chance too. It smells great! It still takes getting used to no-pooing, but I am pleased with this product. My hair felt clean and not stripped. I was also able to use my detangling comb to get rid of some tangles... there was enough slip for that. I like it.

I'd been using this product for quit sometime. I like the how I don't have to use million different products to fix my hair. However, when I use Wen to wash my hair didn't feel clean. So now I don't use this to wash my hair, I only use this as a leave on conditioner. Must say I'm happy with the result.

This stuff rocks! I have been waiting to write this review so I could test it out over the past 45 days. I love this cleansing conditioner, and the minty tingle on my scalp! I am so glad I can buy it from the CurlMart instead of through the Wen website, where I've heard bad things about their customer service. I've been using this product regularly (washing every 3 days), along with Deva B'Leave In, and Phyto Defrisant. I bought an Aquis towel, and use that to plop my hair. My curls have never been so soft, defined, and not frizzy! I am very happy and will keep buying this, even though it is a bit expensive.

Been staggering Lavender, Cucumber, and Almond Mint over the past 4 months for my fine curly with a frizz locks and could not be happier with the outcome. I've replaced numerous other products with just this rinse. Oily frizz-free products are GONE. Volumizers are OUTTA HERE. Sticky curl definers are HISTORY. I finally have totally soft and volumed frizz free (or frizz reduced depending on the weather) curls with just this product. I've got I think what they call 3B hair in the curly hair websites. Fine Hebrew hair curl with a layer of frizz floating on top. And after it's slept on and needs to be afro picked due to the knots it turns into solid wavy frizz (a la Roseanna Havanadanna on the old Saturday Night Live.). I've never seen a model with my type hair on the infomercials. The closest is African American hair...which isn't really close at all other than I do have medium to large corkscrews going on with my cowlicks. The most important thing is to add one half to one full pump of the cleanser AFTER you've washed and rinsed. Wet your head thoroughly at the end of your shower and add the last pump. Comb through and LEAVE IT IN. That way you will have volumed, defined curls. Then scrunch semi dry with numerous paper towels and let air dry. I have some straight areas on top of my head, so I scrunch up a few of those areas and add some one inch butterfly clips around the crown to volumize and define the curl there even further while drying. I don't like what the diffuser does..and would rather air dry. You can wash with one scent and leave in a pump of another. So far I prefer that the Cucumber be the final leave in pump. The Almond Mint tends to be a bit more drying..but it is important to clean a bit more every few washes, anyway. But definitely don't use Almond Mint as the final leave in. Also, I recently tried my husband's Tea Tee. It is also drying with my type of hair, but I added the Cucumber as final leave in and I really did love the Gloria Stivic (All In The Family) head of bouncy curls I got from that combo. Will also start working that scent in every three or four times. One thing to note. I wash every two days. After the third wash-or about every eight days-I do need to use a regular sudsing product (I use Aveda's "Brilliant") as my scalp tends to get too oily. But I'm really happy going from suds every other day to every eight days. I used to lose quite a lot of hair when using sudsing products. Hair loss has reduced greatly with WEN.

I love this stuff! I am at the gym very early in the morning and have a very limited time to work out and then shower and get ready for work. Because this does not foam it is easy to rinse out- it leaves my 3a curls in the best shape. I dry with a diffuser and walk out of the locker room with the other ladies envious of my curls!

Fantastic product! I had blond, highlighted hair until last weekend (now it's red!) so I was able to try this before and after coloring and before and after being shampooed at the salon. My curls have NEVER looked or felt better. Friends keep telling me my hair looks amazing. I'll definitely keep using this and am excited to try the other types.

Like this as much as the Fig, if not more. Even after a oil-based overnight DT, WEN thoroughly cleans my hair without stripping. Even though it contains a cone, for some reason I never, ever get build up! No rinseout/detangly conditioner is needed; I can wash, condition, and detangle in one cycle. Very nice!

A great, curl-enhancing conditioner! I use as a leave-in (my curls love shampoo, gasp!) - poo, conditioner, rinse out, 1-2 pumps combed through wet, wrap 10 seconds in towel, pea-sized conditioner added to Paul Mitchell's Super Clean Sculpting Gel. Air dried or diffuse with a hot travel dryer, my curls haven't looked this consistently good in years. I even like it better than Paul Mitchell's original leave-in, before they changed the formula.

This was the best for me of the Wen Cleansing Conditioners. I got piecey-clumpy curls from it. I still got more frizz than I'd like so that by the end of the day, my curls were "frizzy tubes," but it didn't weigh down my curls and boosted my waves. The menthol also irritated my scalp some, and the vapors made my eyes sting in the shower.
