I used this for treatments after I bleached my hair. It probably would have been too heavy on my 2c hair before I bleached it but now it is just what I need. I would use it with a Heat Therapy Wrap for 15-20 minutes. It's very rich and creamy.
AWESOME!! It felt my hair super soft. I used it in a couple of different ways: 1) with my hair steamer , 2) heat cap, and 3) head cap with no heat. This product came through in each instance. I love this product. I just purchased two more jars on sale and purchase two at regular price. I definitely want to stock pile this product...especially at its price point. GREAT VALUE and works great.
I have a mix of 3c & 4a/b hair! This stuff is amazing! It makes my hair really soft and moisturized! Great price too!!
I felt the difference as I put it in my hair. I am a HUGE fan of this product. I have hair between 4A/4B. This product had a great consistency (thick but not too thick) and it just melted in my hair. The smell was awesome! My hair was butter soft afterwards. This was great for me since I try to do 2 weeks of a protective style each month and this was a great treat for my hair. This will definitely be part of my holy grail products...and the price is AWESOME!
I am a huge fan of this product and it is a part of my holy grail of products. It leaves my hair soft and my curls defined, bouncy, and some body. My hair is very porous so a little does go a long way for me. If used consistently, which I have for two months, you will see a definite improvement in the elasticity of your curls, especially if they are damaged and colored treated like mine, and your hair will feel and look better overall.
Like the rest of the line, except for the Texture Wash, I am NOT a fan of the scent of this product line at all. This deep conditioner is nice and thick and a good consistency. Although I can't comment on the detangling abilities of the deep conditioner because I detangle my hair first (my regimen is that I first detangle my hair, then wash, deep condition and then style my hair), I did like it. I felt it did moisturize my hair and it rinsed out completely. I followed the instructions and left it in for a minute and then rinsed it out. Although I did like this deep conditioner, for me and my hair, it wasn't my absolute favorite, although I am still searching for a deep conditioner that wows and works for my hair.
This conditioner was very thick and moisturizing. It has a nice scent in my opinion and I loved that it left my hair soft and manageable. It also helped make detangling a breeze. I will probably use with my steamer next time. It made my hair feel so moisturized. I highly recommend it.
I loved the smell of this this texture treatment, it's strong, but nice. The treatment is rich and creamy plus it coats my super thick hair very well. It left my hair soft and easy to detangle while my curls were very much defined.
I don't love that this product has cones in it, but that's my only negative. The product is creamy with no special scent. It's not runny, but a little does go a long way. I got 6 uses out of one jar (my hair is very thick, a little past APL). Love that this is also sold in stores so I don't have to pay shipping to get it! This is a great light protein treatment and has replaced my CJ Repair Me.
Because it was so thick, I thought it would leave my hair feeling coated. Surprisingly, it didn't. Rinses out well and my hair was really soft. I'm heavy handed when it comes to applying products but i don't have to use a lot of this product. Which is great because I will get several uses out of this jar.
I did not know what to expect with a texture treatment but I am pretty pleased with the results I get from this product. I will definitely use this product in the future but it is a little too watery for my hair so I have to use another oil along with it to really moisturize my hair when it is dry
This product is the gem of the Curlific! line in my opinion. I kid you not! It was very moisturizing and definitely a treat for my texture. I know the instructions call for leaving it in for 1 minute but I usually do 15-30 minutes. My 4c kinks have great slip and I could finger detangle without any problems whatsoever. My hair was extremely soft after the treatment. This product above all will be a staple in my hair regimen.
Very thick, rich and moisturizing. My hair felt very moisturized and healthy after using this. A little goes a long way!
My general criteria for a good conditioner is that: I don't have to use a lot for it to be effective, I can finger comb my hair with it with relative ease (which is apparently YahooAnswer's definition of good "slip"), it smells good (after all, it tends to be the last product I put in my hair), it keeps my curls together, and it doesn't have a bunch of yucky ingredients in it. The only reason I give this product 3 curls is because it works(-ish) and is a great price. I don't know, I'm kind of rubbed the wrong way by this product because it refers to itself as a texture treatment, which to me would indicate that the texture they refer to is curly hair, not poof. Poof is how I feel my hair looks with this stuff. It just seems to weigh down my curls to where there are vague waves at the top and frizzy waves at the bottom. I've been using it all week, using different amounts of the product, and it either seems like I'm not using enough, or way way too much (the first demerit). It lets me finger comb it with ease, which is good, but as I mentioned, it didn't seem to actually hold any of the curls together (second demerit), it just expanded out. If you read the ingredient list, you should immediately realize that this is not, by any stretch of the word, a natural product, which to me means I'm automatically not going to use it regularly. And as every other reviewer mentioned, this stuff just smells awful. It actually gave me a headache the first day (apparently I didn't wash it out enough), now it's just a lingering annoyance. Now. All the negatives being said. I still think it's worth the price. I've tried many products more expensive than this that make my hair look way worse. I also think that as long as you wash it out enough and are careful about how much you use, the smell shouldn't be a problem, since it is a wash out treatment, not a leave-in. It gives volume, which is probably a great thing for thinner curly-haired folks. It definitely makes your hair soft too, which is always nice!
I loved how slick this left my hair.I can even go to bed with wet hair and it does not frizz over night. It is a product to use maybe twice a week.If I used it every day it would weigh my hair down. This has a nice scent and made my hair tangle free.
The Texture Treatment had a very strong, cologne-like scent. I'm not sure I like it. Although the treatment is thick, I was able to detangle my hair with a wide-tooth without losing much hair. I didn't feel this had enough slip for me, initially. But once I began to wash it out, it had plenty of slip and left my hair feeling soft and silky. I probably wouldn't use this again because I do need a lot more slip than this treatment provides. I have very thin hair, which is very tangle-prone. Detangling without a lot of hair loss is a challenge. I
This really helped my hair when I used it. It's soft, whipped, and can be applied as much as you need. I felt like I could build this product up instead of feeling like I've used too much. It almost made my hair too soft, but I really like it. One curl off because of the scent, yet again, because it's just cheap smelling. Powdered scents don't translate to high quality.
I love this Texture Treatment. It is perfect for my dull, lifeless winter hair. With temps being well into the minuses and the dryness being insane, my hair has been frizzy and full of static. I have been going insane trying to keep it in check. This product does the trick! It thick and silky, yet still does not weigh down my fine waves. It restored moisture, took away the fly-aways and made my hair feel soft and tame. The only downfall I found with this product is the heavy perfumed scent. It is overwhelming and really lingers. I wish they had done a lighter scent to it and maybe made it more fruity and less cheap perfume smelling. Overall though, the effects it has on my hair far outweigh my dislike of the scent and I will definitely continue using it.

This product is super thick and heavy, which I do love in a conditioner. The product has a way of being heavy yet light. For example after spreading it through a section of hair (heavy handed) my hair still curled and clumped. I did follow the directions and rinsed after only a minute. My hair was instantly soft and manageable. I gave it 4 curls only because I have had conditioners that gave me butter soft hair. This product overall is a runner up in my book.
Had good slip which made it enjoyable to use. I was able to finger detangle my hair and i didn't need handfuls of product to do that. when i rinsed it out, my hair was soft. It's accessible both online and in stores i think. I gave it a 3 curl rating just because of the ingredients and I'm trying really hard to find natural products that work as well as these. Otherwise it would be a 4 or 5. I usually don't like cologne smells, but I actually liked the scent of the whole line.
