This is honestly a product that I can use in my hair no matter the season, and has become an absolute "holy grail" for me. I like using creamy based stylers or natural based curling jellies in my hair to style with. I do not like using hard holding gels in my very dry, 3b hair because all that they do is leave my curls hard, stiff, crunchy, and very dehydrated. So, I opt to go with products that will do the exact opposite to my hair, but that will still perform well in my hair all day long with no problems. And, for me, this product definitely does that. I can use this product on both wet and dry hair, and I truly like that because I don't believe in washing my hair daily or re-wetting my hair with water on a daily basis either, in order to get my curls to look freshly done each day of the week. My hair cannot handle being washed more than once a week, or else it causes my curls to start to look and feel dehydrated, plus it gives me a sinus cold. Plus, re-wetting my hair in the mornings, before applying styling product doesn't do anything positive to my curls, because all the water does is leave my curls overly damp, provides no moisture, as water by itself is not moisturizing, and after the water dries in my hair, it's like what true purpose does this achieve for my curls anyways (because adding an extra step that's not necessary at all for my hair). The best thing that a person can do is to get a styler that they can use on their hair that can be used on both damp/wet and dry hair. Or, if you happen to get a curl styler that is designed for use on damp/wet hair only, definitely get the corresponding curl reviving/curl refreshing product that comes with within the same line. I can tell you, that with this product, I can achieve 2nd day hair and beyond all the way up to my next hair wash day. I simply re-apply a bit more of it to my hair in the mornings (as I do not skip going a day without adding product to my curls ever), and voila my hair looks terrific each day. I do not experience issues with buildup from this product in my hair at all. And, I do like that this product is very multipurpose, doesn't take long to sink into ones hair or body at all, and it has a very pleasing light vanilla+cocoa scent to it, that is not overpowering and does not bother my allergies or sinuses at all. Overall, I really like that Darcy's sells very reasonably priced products that can be used by anyone, no matter their hair condition, race, or hair type.

This is good stuff. The cream is the perfect consistency for my 3B/C curls. I use it as the third step of the LOC method, but I think it could also be used as the first step. I sometimes refresh my curls with aloe vera juice spray sprayed on my palms and mixed with a tiny bit of Cocoa whip during the week. It doesn't take much and my hair feels moisturized and soft. I want to try this with Darcy's Curling Gel, but it seems to play well with my current other products, too. Love Darcy's.

This gave my hair so much moisture....and great definition. It works well on dry hair.......this will be one of my staple products.

I use this as a sealer or as a finishing product and I no longer have frizzy, dry ends by the end of the day. It smells like cocoa, for sure, and I also use it on my body. For a modified LOC method, I use a LI, this, then Darcy's cream gel and its been working really well in the winter.

Smells like chocolate, but not too strong. Perfect for my low-porosity hair. I've used it as a styler on dry hair. It has a light texture and soaks in well. Not as strong of a hold as Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie.

I like to use this product as a styler on my twists and braids as well as to re-moisturize or re-twist. It softens my hair leaving it moisturized and supple. It's definitely a product I like to keep on hand. The best part is I don't have to use a lot to get results which means this product lasts! Another plus is it smells great and as a previous poster said it works great with the cocoa bean cream as well!! Def give this a try! :)

I tried this on my son's hair and it did a wonderful job detangling. This is the first product outside of one other spray that worked on his hair. It also did a great job moisturizing and detangling my hair. I really like this product.
