I have 2C/3A hair and have been using the Gel combined with the Structra lotion for about 3 years. It is my go to! Not crunchy when combined with the lotion and diffused. This holds curl very well for me and I almost always can get second day hair (if i pineapple at night)

This product is pretty much useless for my hair. I read up about their products on their website, and this didn't seem to work at all for my hair, even with the mousse. My hair is really thick and it didn't give any hold, definition or tame the frizzies. Definitely not buying this again!

This gel doesn't get 5 stars only because you must use it with the Curlisto Structura Lotion. I have 2b/3a hair and this combo makes it shiny, defined, does a pretty good job at reducing frizz, and leaves it touchable. Profound Beauty Curl Glaze was my former HG, but I got tired of having crunchy curls and these products are wonderful for that.

I really wanted to like this line of products but it just doesn't work for me. I use with the Structura Lotion becuase without it, it's worthless. Pros: non-sticky, defining, hair doesn't feel too unnatural. Cons: By the end of the day, my hair just looks messy and stringy, regardless of how much or little I use. It doesn't hold well and I NEVER get second day hair whey I use these products. Also, having to "mix" the two is a complete nuisance. Unfortunately, the cons outweight the pros. I won't be buying Curlisto again but it does work well for some, which is why I gave it 3 curls.

I like this gel when I mix it with the Bio-Gel Mousse. Makes for good clumpy curls and hold. On humid days I use more of the gel than mousse and it keeps the frizz under control. I don't like this gel alone, but who uses any product just on its own anyway?

This stuff is Great when used in Combo with the Structura Lotion. It leaves my hair nice and soft without the stiffness that most gels have.

Used in combination with Structura Lotion, this stuff is amazing. Great, piecy curls. I like the COntrol II a bit better for its extra hold, but this is a really great gel.

This gel is not designed to be used on its own. Curlisto made it to be combined with their Structura Lotion to add humidity resistance and hold to their Lotion (their primary styling product). The Structura Lotion gave me that wonderful piecy definition I was wanting, and the Control I gel helped hold it in place, even in rainy or super hot-humid FL days. However, the hold wasn't long lasting and the definition fell midday, despite a very generous application. Zero frizz and minimal flyaways so the hold not lasting didn't allow frizz to happen. Instead, the definition was the only thing that fell. Excellent for humidity with high temps. So-so hold. Can't touch your hair or be in wind or it instantly goes away. Horrible when used without Structura Lotion, which makes the $24 price tag even higher with the Lotion having to be purchased as well.

A great, thick gel that really kept away the frizz and gave good curl formation. Nice smell.
