I used this color on my virgin 4a hair as directed. I had absolutely no, zero, nada color change. I was VERY disappointed in this product. I followed the instructions exactly. My hair was dry and brittle afterwards. I had to follow up with a conditioner to deposit moisture back to my hair. I will NOT recommend tths particular color at all.
I agree with the reviewer that felt this was a fail in the color department. I get that semi-permanent means that it will not lift the hair color because it has no peroxide or ammonia. It will deposit color, though. I was able to see a bit of the advertised color on my highlighted ends, but that one gray hair I have on the top of my head? Remained gray. In a nutshell: Pros: Easy application Not messy Color doesn't stain everything it touches Fantastic scent, especially after hair is dry and styled. My little girl said, "mommy your hair smells so good!" Hair turned out shiny Cons: Deposited color but not noticeable at first. It's been two weeks and I'm finally starting to see a little bit reddish brown color deposited on my strands but it's just too subtle for me. My hair is 3B medium to dark brown with highlighted ends. The ends look nice. But again, the color, although pretty, is too subtle for me. I would not buy this product.
Sorry to say I had no color change at all. My natural color is black and I have no chemicals in my hair, so I didn't expect a very bright golden color. However, I had no color change, not even a highlight. On the plus side my hair has very tight coils that tangle very easy, but after the color my hair did end up very soft, and my curls actually released a little. So I would have to say this was a fail in the color department for me. Maybe if your hair color is really light to begin with you will have better results.
I used the Bigen GB6 Golden Blonde Semi-Perm Hair Color today. I am not impressed. My hair is thin, long and I have 3B hair type. After following the directions exactly as stated on the bottle my hair was left extremely tangled and a tad bit hard. I have used Bigen before in the past and I have never experienced tangled and hard hair after coloring. My hair is naturally medium brown with some gray strands throughout. My gray strands did color some, but not as much as I had hoped. As far as the overall color, it did not lighten my hair color very much at all. Overall, I am disappointed in the performance of Bigen GB6. After coloring, I was pressed to leave a color sealant conditioner in order to soften and detangle my hair. It is pretty safe to say, I will continue to use the product which renders the best results for my hair which is Clairol Beautiful Collection Semi-permanent Color Advanced Gray Solution Light Golden Chestnut.
