Nice piecey definition. A little fluff but not supposed to offer hold so that's not a huge surprise. Being that the old formula transformed my curls into a "frizz storm", this was a huge reformulation improvement.

This used to be my all time favorite curl product. I have 3b hair and don't like to mess with it too much. I don't dry my hair and prefer a wash and wear style. This totally fit the bill providing frizz control and definition...until they changed the formula in early 2010. Turns out I am horribly allergic to the new formula. The amount/order of ingredients has changed and sunflower oil has been added. I'm not sure if that's the culprit, or if it's a combination of different ingredients, but be aware that this is not the awesome stuff it used to be. (The new formula has slightly lighter blue writing and "new formula" is indicated on the front).

I've actually had this product for a while and couldn't decide if I liked it till the other day. I had my hair wet and wrapped in a towel, left the curls in their orginal shape and applied the product with flat hands. I only used about a total of 3 pumps. My curls looked AWESOME. They were soft, not crunchy, and well defined. This might be a keeper for me and trust me I am so hard to convince.

I can only use this on a very special occasion when I need the silicone shine and instant frizz control. Otherwise, it's not something I can use for more than one or two days during the week because the dimethicone build-up was pretty awful. It weighed down my hair and made it very frizzy and greasy and flat by the middle of the day. By the end of the week my hair would feel like a combination of tin foil and brilo pad. I think this product would have a lot more potential if Redken made the silicone water-soluble and removed some of the other harsh chemicals in it.

This is a great product for curl formation. It makes curls super soft. My only complaint is that I have to use a gel or mousse to help sustain the curls. It is one of my favs, though!

I recommend this product to all of my curly haired clients. It's easy to use and impossible to overload. Leaves the hair soft and dramatically reduces frizz.

I absolutely love this! It defines my curls, and cuts down on frizz. I have never seen my curls so incredibly shiny either. My hair is now super soft and I got huge clumps where I normally don't. Nothing has ever worked this well.

I think all this did was give some shine, softness & smoothing. I didn't notice that it gave any hold or curl-enhancing.

I loved this product, I got the best curl formation I have ever experienced from any product. It really decreased the frizz in my hair and helped me get the kind of curls I desire.

distributes well on damp hair, so my hair doesn't have to be dripping wet when i apply. does leave some stiffness.

I'm always late in trying products but I just began using this and love it layered over my Curl products (QM, CNECL, & Souffle). Gives me touchable hair with nice waves/curls/ringlets.

The first time I tried this it was winter and I got rave compliments on my hair. I absolutely loved it. Be sure to follow the directions, COMB it through with a wide tooth comb and diffuse hair until almost dry. Then kind of run fingertips through hair to fluff up a bit. When I use this in the summer, I have to add a gel over the top to get hold in the Florida humidity.

It really didn't seem to make a difference in my hair. It didn't take the frizz away or add anything to the curl. I'm disappointed, the Redken rewind seems to be better for my hair.

enh. i use it when i don't wash my hair to smooth the frizz on top, but otherwise i hated it. it's stiff and makes my hair stringy and wiry.
