Most moisturizing shampoo I have ever used in my life!!! I usually hate shampoo and opt to cowash because every shampoo I have used makes my hair feel stripped and squeaky clean. Gross. But with this it barely feels like I have to follow up with a conditioner. Never thought I would say this about a shampoo but HOLY GRAIL!

Gentle for my fine hair, cleanses well.

Definately gentle and effective in cleansing hair. I shampoo twice a week, and can even go longer in between, but I generally don't. Before becoming a curlie (yes, becoming. My hair was perfectly straight until Feb 2011 when it turned curly either from respiratory allergic reactions, the medication used to treat these reactions, or the stress caused by allergic reactions. Who knows??) I shampooed daily and started to space shampoo days as I noticed less oiliness in midlife. I am enjoying my curls!

This is alright. I don't like the lack of lather that you get with this. My hair still was clean afterwards, I just didn't feel like I was getting so much from the product.

I very rarely use shampoo, but this will be one that I go back to when I do. It makes my hair feel clean and removes build-up without making my hair feel completely stripped of all moisture. Another nice one for Jessicurl!

This is the best low poo I've come across. It cleans and doesn't strip my hair or dry out my scalp. I have a hard time getting enough lather which might be because of the hard water where I live and it won't get rid of major product build-up (I use Elucence Moisture Benefits ~ 1/mnth) but I use it once or twice per week and won't be giving it up any time soon!

3b fine thin hair Best CG shampoo ever! This shampoo leaes my hair so moisturized but gets it clean. I have fine thin hair so i have to have a shampoo that gets rid of build up but doesnt strip my hai. I am so in love with this shampoo. My hair used to be so dry.Jessicurl products are so good for damaged hair.

I received this shampoo as a sample when I ordered a product online. I absolutely love it because it cleanses my hair and scalp well without drying it out. This shampoo will definitely become one of my staples.

*This is the same review I provided for the Cleansing Cream too but my thoughts are exactly the same* Hair type: 3A, super fine texture, spirals.This is really good if you have hard water. It seems to help remove build up somehow. But it also loosened up my curl a bit too much for my liking. Sometimes my hair felt a bit dry with it too. I liked to mix it though with my GTTT for some extra moisture though. It's like it's not a horrible product, but doesn't provide WOW results either.

This is a wonderful, relatively inexpensive low poo. I like to use it occasionally as part of a CG/conditioner wash routine. It effectively clarifies my hair without destroying its moisture balance and guaranteeing me any bad hair days. I'll definitely continue to buy this.

Looks like I'm the first 4a (actually 3c/4a combo) to review. This poo is marketed for looser, finer haired curlies, but it performed quite admirably in my hair as well. I'm a heavy shea butter user and I noticed that all the excess oil was washed away WITH OUT the squeeky clean stripped feeling. It left my scalp clean and fresh and my hair pretty soft. It's still a poo, so I only use it about once maybe twice a month. But it does what it says it will do. A nice gentle lather without over drying your hair.

I have fine, wavy hair, but lots of it. It is not naturally dry at all, and my scalp tends to be more toward the oily side. Gentle Lather Shampoo cleans hair well without weighing it down. The unscented version is great and truly doesn't smell like anything at all. It lathers up easily and rinses well. However, it is a very plain, non-moisturizing shampoo, and the high price for the small size (since its performance is so plain) will guarantee I won't buy it again. If it did more toward moisturizing, it would be better. By the way, I've used all the Jessicurl products in the unscented versions, and even though each has its own very light natural smell from the ingredients in it, I do appreciate the opportunity to be able to purchase products without strong scent!

I tend to get oily roots pretty quickly, and the Hair Cleansing Cream wasn't enough for me. My ends are still dryer than my roots, but this shampoo was just right -- oil gone from my roots and doesn't dry out my ends. I follow with Too Shea! Conditioner, and it's a wonderful hair day.

This was my first gentle shampoo I ever bought, and I just really didn't know what to expect. I didn't notice a lot of less frizz, but it is something that I would try again, now that I know my hair a little more.

Finally ventured up to SF to Common Scents to get this & I am very pleased, enhanced the curls, kept it soft.

I really liked this shampoo. It made my hair very mositurized.I am going to use it on alternate days when I don't use the cleansing cream.

This is a good gentle shampoo. For non-sulfate it doesn't make a tangled matted dried-out mess of my hair like other non-sulfate shampoos. It still makes my hair squeak a bit though.

Nice, gentle shampoo for my very fine, dry curls. The Citrus Lavendar scent is scrumptious - smells so clean and fresh. A bit pricey.

Better than HCC b/c it lathered more, but not enough for me. I have 3c curls.

Excellent gentle shampoo. Everything Jessicurl makes is wonderful. Love that I can get in two fragrances or unscented. Just enough lather to let my brain know my hair is indeed getting clean. Has great moisture-so much so that I can get away with using very little conditioner after. If you ever sell your company Jess, don't let them change your formulas!

Really LOVE this Shampoo. Pretty much use it every day with the Aloeba Daily Conditioner. If you like a lot of lather, it still doesn't have tons. That would be the ONLY negative I could come up with. This is a HG for me.

Left my hair feeling clean, soft, and happy. Didn't dry it out at all.

This is the best I've tried for my very fine, soft curls. It doesn't strip the hair of essential oils, but doesn't weigh it down. I can use it every day if I want. I love it.

Really liked this one. It has a tad more ompf to it. Just what I needed. Makes my hair feel clean without a dry feeling scalp or stripped feeling hair. I think I have been waiting for this one for a long time.. ;o)

I really wanted to like this but found it drying. I'm sticking with HCC. However, the rest of my family uses it and likes it. They have oiler scalps and straight hair.

The Hair Cleansing Cream was too moist for my hair, so this is perfect! My hair is easily damaged and dried out, so this non-heavy, non-drying, but cleansing shampoo works great for me.
