Love this for my 2a/b wavy fine porous hair. The protein really helps to strengthen and smooth my hair, and the conditioner provides plenty of slip for de-tangling. No noticeable build up. Will buy again and again.

This conditioner is sooo cheap and I've been through countless bottles, when they have a sale at my local grocery store I get it for $1. I use a lot of this stuff, the slip is pretty good but I often use it to co wash not detangle. If I do detangle with it I usually mix it with my Giovanni deep moisture conditioner and together they give me a lot of slip. I do find that you need a lot of it to really coat your hair and although it leaves my roots soft and clean my ends need a more moisturing conditioner.

I've used this a few times and I must say, I'm not impressed. It has a very runny texture and doesn't do much as far as conditioning my hair goes. I would rather spend the extra money and get a decent sulfate-free shampoo/cleanser and have better results.

I used it to cowash every week. It's cheap and does the job. First I put a part of the conditioner and two parts oil (whichever you please) in a spray bottle and detangle my twa. Then I apply more conditioner straight to my hair and cowash with tea tree oil leave for a few minutes and then rinse. Keeps it moist and soft. Not bad for a $3 product

this is a slightly above average co wash condish. it has ok slip so its not gonna be a detangling savior for someone with kinky curly hair like mine (3c and 4a). for cleansing I feel like it leaves a slight residue and it is definitely not a good leave in for me. i use this to aid in detangling. I mix this with water in a 3:1 ratio and I'll use this before cleansing as a 2nd prepoo after my coconut oil and olive oil mix.

I am really the oddball here, I know. However, just in case there's another human with hair that doesn't like this conditioner, I'm letting you know there's two of us. It's not that this conditioner is bad, at all. It smells wonderful, and it has some slip. However, it does not have enough slip for my tangles, nor is it moisturizing enough for my hair. When I was growing up Suave Strawberry shampoo was the staple in our shower, and I used to beg my mother to by me the "cream rinse", eventually called "conditioner". I would get in trouble for using it up so fast, and my mother couldn't imagine the amount I needed to use. These days my hair isn't nearly as long or as thick as it used to be and still I need a good 3/4 - 1 cup of Suave Conditioner to get it throughout my hair to soften and detangle. Even though this conditioner is cheap, it's really not as cost effective for me as for people who need to use a lot less. Tropical Coconut, and all the other Suave Conditioners I've tried, smell so wonderful, I would love to be able to enjoy them.

So i hopped on the SNTCC bandwagon thinkin i would get good results like most everyone else, but i don't think my hair likes this. I shampoo'd with Shea Moisture Coco/Hib ,then left this condish in over nite. I woke up 2 really soft hair that smelled great but later on thru out the day my hair looked kinda dry & started to frizz. So idk whats up w/ that.. Maybe i am protein sensitive. Still experimenting. Other than that it smells good, the consistency is not 2 thick or 2 thin & its very affordable.

This was so highly recommended that I was very surprised that it turned out to have next to zero slip for my 3c/4a/4b hair. I threw away the last part because of the stickiness and dry brittleness it left behind in my hair even before rinsing.

I am 43 and have only had my curls for the past few years. Strange but true. So I am still trying to figure out the whole haircare thing. After reading many reviews I have used VO5 Moisture Milks for about a year now and have loved it. I still had a little bit of frizz but I thought that was just my hair type. Frizzy-ish! A couple of weeks ago I had a coupon for Suave and I found a 30oz. bonus bottle of the Coconut Naturals for $1.46 at Walmart. Well, I am not one to pass up a great deal and since I had used Suave in the past I went for it. I love this stuff! My hair has no more frizz, its soft, smells great, and after my coupon I only paid 46 cents for my 30oz bottle. How great is that? Its definitely a keeper in my book.

Worked well when I was first starting to go sulfate/silicone free. Since then, I typically use DevaCurl One Condition for co-washing. After 6 months of finally running out of my big 32 oz bottle, I went back to this. Can't beat the $1.94 price at Target. However, I'm now finding it's too thick for my liking and weighing my hair down and making my hair more frizzy.

LOVE LOVE This stuff! I use as a leave in/refresher for my WnGs. I do add a little jojoba oil and monoi oil to lock in moisture. I mix it up weekly about 4 oz of STCC with 1 small dropper of jojoba oil & 1/2 small dropper of monoi oil. Can't beat the price for silicone free, sulfate free, paraben free product with honey! Weekly use 2oz of STCC with 1tbsp of jojoba & coconut oil, then sit under hair dryer for 30mins with plastic cap for a DC treatment. Hair is AMAZINGLY soft!

I didn't like this stuff. it made my hair feel extremely hard. My hair likes low/medium amounts of protein so I thought this would work well since my hair has been needing a protein boost. I was wrong. I'm wondering if the nettle dried my hair out. My hair also doesn't like the kinky curly leave in and giovanni direct leave in which also has nettle.

MHMMM smells so nice all day :) This is a nice light conditioner. My hair is very dry so I use this along with a deeper treatment or as a no-poo cleanser. So it's definitely not for parched hair but like I said combined with other products, it can do wonders. Keeps my hair smelling wonderful and I really have no complaints especially for such a cheap product.

I love the smell of this conditioner, but I did not like it as a leave in as I did not feel it gave me extra moisture. I tried it as a rinse out , it made my hair soft. I did use this on my 5 yr old daughter as a leave in and her curls were beautiful. I need more moisture so I probably not use this again.

Anytime of year this one's got my vote. You can pair it with a firm hold gel, light mousse or hard cream and this always provides a strong foundation. Conditioning, with a hint of protein, sweet, sweet smell and great slip if I wanna take it into the shower. A cheap creamy leave-in/rinse out no curly should got without!

i have 3b, medium thickness, shoulder length curls. i started CG today. for the first time today i tried using just suave naturals coconut as a leave in/styler. i did not put any products in afterwards! i used a little less than a palmful of the conditioner and idk if thats a lot or not, but since the condish is so thin it was okay to use that much. i really like the results! my hair is actually really defined, super soft, has the perfect amount of volume, and a lot of the frizz is gone. i still have a little frizz, less than i would have with gel, but its worth it to have soft hair and no crunch at all. it leaves me with more defined curls than gel does. all i had to do was apply it to my wet hair (i squeezed some water out first) and comb it through with my fingers, no scrunching.

I think this is a wonderful conditioner. I use it daily and its very light so it's easy to work around my hair. I think a lot of people need to learn washing techniques so that they have fair judgement of their product. A scrub from the scalp helps promote curls and squeezing out the conditioner helps to maintain the curl pattern. I also love the price that alone is AMAZING.

Pretty good product considering how dirt cheap it is. It's moisturizing, the only problem is that I have to use large amounts in order to get a good amount of slip both when co-washing or doing my rinse out. Other than that I love the smell and its never given my scalp any problems and helps get my hair very clean ^.^

I really wanted to like this because it's cheap and everyone else seems to like it. However, I don't know what to do with it. it's too thick for a co-wash and too light to be a good moisturizing conditioner. So that's what it is- an O.K. conditioner.

I have to say that I truly enjoy using this conditioner on co-wash days. It has great slip, it moisturizes and it's not overly thick. The price is great and to say it is a cheaper conditioner, the ingredient list is also pretty appealing as well. I give it 4 curls because I wish things like nettle, honey coconut, etc...could be higher on the ingredient list.

Love it. I would say it's best as a co-wash and should be followed with a heavier conditioner, because it's thin and pretty basic (before I was CG I used Suave shampoo and conditioner by itself for awhile, daily, and noticed my hair getting drier). However as part of a CG routine is it perfect - wonderfully inexpensive, CG-approved, and gets the job done. Using the coconut shampoo every so often when my hair needs a cleanse (followed of course by this conditioner and another heavier one) is great and has not adversely affected my hair's health. I'll continue to purchase this.

This is cheap. But it smells a bit chemically to me (at least compared to Aubrey and even the Sauve 'naturals'). Like the Sauve naturals it is a bit thin and I have to use a lot. Not great slip either. Basicly it is better then just water so if you are on a really tight budget go for it. Just make sure to smell whatever Suave CO you are thinking about.
