I can't believe Redken would discontinue (at least that's what I heard) this fabulous spray gel! I have very lazy 2b wavy hair that has to be begged, forced & prodded into curls that make me happy. Scrunching this spray into my dry or mostly-dry hair adds volume to my bob & defines hair with piecey textured curls & waves, then it holds it all together all day long with no stiffness at all. I can fluff up anytime I lose a little volume by just tousling with my fingers (wet or dry). I don't lose any curl formation or hairstyle shape. How this product manages all that while keeping my hair SOFT, I don't know. I only know that Redken made a bad decision to discontinue it. It costs a lot but to me it's worth the price & I would hate to have to say goodbye to this product forever.

The first time I used Curl Force, several people commented on how curly my hair was that day. I thought it was a fluke, humidity, the earth's rotation around the moon...anything but a specific product I used. But then I used curl force again tonight with the same result. I spray a little in when my hair is half dry (diffusing after washing and conditioning) and what it does is add a little weight and lots of curl. The last time I used curl force I didn't have to wash my hair for several days and my curls looked great. I have 3a hair, but the degree of curl almost always depends on the weather. In the winter, when the air is dry, my hair gets wavy. Humidity and rain (or snow) makes it curl more.

This product works awesome on my hair. I have never tried it on freshly washed hair, but the next day I spritz a small amount on and it tightly curls my hair making it look like freshly washed hair-with no frizzes and never limp!

Spray gels don't work well in my thick, coarse curls. But I have used this with success as a refresher during the day. I scrunch it in and get good results.

Didn't encourage or boost curls at all. Performed like a super-sticky hairspray on wet hair. Reminded me a little of Devacurl Set It Up because my wild, intense frizz looked the same when I scrunched in SIF. Drying, unlike SIF though.
