I really like this conditioner. It moisturizers will and makes my curls soft and shiny. I was told by an Aveda salesperson that it also makes a good deep conditioner in a pinch - apply liberally and wrap in a hot towel for 15-20 minutes. The downside is that it doesn't detangle well. Since my hair is relatively thin this isn't an issue for me, but people with very thick curls may have to use a lot of this, and at $18 you don't want to use more than a quarter-sized dollop or so at a time!

Doesn't have a lot of slip, but it's very rich. It truly works! A quarter-sized dollop is enough to work through my shoulder-grazing 3C hair and transform its appearance. Leaves my curls soft, shiny and plump. The notorious scent is an earthy lemon-jasmine mix. Some people adore it, but to me it's just ok. Since a little goes a long way, one bottle lasted a long time for me. Good stuff!
