I love this product! It worked really well with Curl Junkie's Curl Assurance. Good clumping and frizz control. The curl definition even carried over to the next day. Wow!

I love this curl creme! It is glycerin free so I can use it any time of the year, and along with the Super Soaker method, this creme defines my curls without stickiness or tackiness. I make sure to not use too much and emulsify it in my hands and voila - great waves and ringlets!

First, I agree about this product's strange attributes: it has the consistency of watery Elmer's glue and smells like mint and oranges. And, I agree with others that it can cause hair to be too crunchy or weighed down. For me, I found the perfect way to use it. I have 2A hair, and because it is thin, most curl products tend to flatten my hair to my head or weigh the curls out into mere waves. First, I tried using this product and then following it with light gel. That was a sticky crunchy mess. But, the next time, I tried something very different. After getting out of the shower, I very lightly blotted my hair with the towel so that it was still pretty wet. Then I spread 1/2 teaspoon of this product between my hands. with my hair being so wet, the cream spread evenly throughout it. And, I did not put anything else on my afterward. Once the hair was totally air dried, I scrunched out the crunchy parts and was left with beautiful bouncy curls without any frizzies!! I suggest using this very damp hair technique or using this product solo if it seems too heavy for you.

Definitely gives me nice tight curls and enhances my more wavy parts. It is very curl enhancing! The reason for 4 stars is that it is like an Elmer's Glue Minty Toothpaste--and something about that consistency is just kind of unappealing. Also it has Polyquat's and I find I need to use a cleansing low poo to get this out of my hair. I can't use it everyday but when I want excellent tight enhanced curls it is my go-to product!

Sorry, folks but I hated this stuff! It's has the consistency of glue and is extremely difficult to distribute. It made my hair frizzy, gunky and stringy. It's also difficult to wash out. I tried a small amount - didn't work. I tried a medium amount - too crunch and gunky. Then I tried mixing it with a little water - still awful!

This is one of my favorites. I end up with great body and big, fat waves you could surf. Gnarly dude!. It's pretty thick, so you have to be careful not to use too much. I've actually discovered I prefer it when I mix it in the palm of my hand with a little Jessicurl Rockin Ringlets.

Great product. At first I did not like it but as the day went on it kept my curls in tact. You don't want to use it too much of it at once and good to finish it with Curl Refreshing Spray. Also great packaging.

This is one of the worst curl products I've ever used. It made my hair extremely crunchy, weighed it down, and basically gave me Ramen style hair all day instead of the ringlets I usually have. I am extremely disappointed with it (especially since it was so expensive), and will be returning it straight away.

I would give this a 5 but for the price. It's very expensive at $18 for a small tube, and doesn't come in a bigger container. It does give great curl and definition and is an excellent frizz controller. I can sometimes get great 2nd and even 3rd day hair, but not consistently. A little does go a long way, but if you have a lot of hair, you still use a lot compared to price. I don't use a lot and a tube still won't last more than 3 weeks.

Other than the price for the size, this is a very nice cream. It has a pleasant scent & gives good clumping & not bad hold. What little crunch there is, is easily scrunched out.

This cream gives fabulous hold, clumpage, and firzz-control. A little goes a long way, so the price doesn't matter so much. Smells like minty oranges. I'm a big fan.

3B This product is Amazing!! I stopped using it for a while, so I could experiment with other things. Then I came back to it and realized how wonderful it really is! Great clumpage, defined curls, easily scrunched out crunch, doesn't weigh me down, and no need for gel with it, which is a huge plus! I like using the least amount of product as possible.

This is the closest thing to Curls Rock I have used! This gives me GREAT hold without weighing me down. I get nice defined curls, and can even get second day hair! A little goes a long way with this stuff! Make sure you rub it between your hands and distribute it evenly, or you will get crunchy clumps. A pretty thin coat will have you set!

I received this product as a 'freebie' awhile back. It is amazing. Had I paid for it (thanks NCC!!), it would be a little on the pricey side to be used everyday, particularly for really long hair .... but it is a great addition to a PJ's collection! It gave me amazing curls - lots of clumps and big spirals. I rake through the curl defining cream after a leave-in and then scrunch in some gel on the sides and back of my hair. Results: amazing curls that gave me two days! I never get 2 days !!
