I love this pre-shampoo treatment. It is a little bit of a challenge to get in on your hair evenly - very sticky and oily. The results are worth it though. My curls were soft and very conditioned after I washed it out of my hair.

First of all: THIS IS NOT A CONDITIONER!! Let's get that clear. It's a prewash treatment. If it's used the right way, it's amazing. Is the texture hard to get used to? Yes. It's sticky and hard to spread. Is it worth the effort? YES!!! My hair is so much softer and defined after using this. I love it. Here's a tip: don't try to spread it through dry hair. I wet my hair first, then scrunch in in from the bottom up, just as I would gel or conditioner. It doesn't distribute as easily as gel or conditioner, true, but you just make it work as best you can. I wet my palms before trying to emulsify the butter and distribute it through my hair. The tube is small, and it is expensive, that is true. I have alot of hair, so one tube will last me only 3 treatments, and only if I am very, very careful not to waste any, and careful to use it only on my ends. But I have *not* found a PRE-WASH treatment that works better, and very few deep conditioners that do either. Definitely a HG product for me.

It was very hard to get this stuff spread through my hair & then once it was on, I had to clarify twice to get it out of my hair. It was too heavy for my hair.

The first time I used this it made beautiful curls, but with continued use it coated the hair and it felt like straw. I also noted alot of hair fall until I removed the coating with a clarifying shampoo.

Nah, this was just greasy and messy. My hair didn't seem to feel and look all that great or different after I used it. Waste of time.

Snot-green, too much drag made hard to distribute, dripped out of my wet hair, funny smell, no visible effect. Glad to shampoo it out.

This left my hair very soft but still with plenty of soft curls and waves (about as good as my hair gets). I applied to wet hair, wrapped in plastic for 30 minutes, then rinsed out and followed with Avalon Organics lavender non-sulfate shampoo. Followed with my usual CG-friendly cream/gel combo, plopped 10 minutes, air-dried. Gel crunch scrunched out more easily than usual and resulting waves are luxurious and soft! My main reason for not giving a full 4 curls is this is expensive stuff.

I really love this product! My hair was really dry and damaged before I tried this conditioner. My cuticles and ends were repaired within days. I noticed that if I left it in (which I did most of the time) I didn't even have to use any styling product; it's like two products in one! I love the fact that this product is all natural and environmentally friendly. However, I had to give it three curls because there are no larger sizes available and it's about nine dollars a tube. For us curly girls with long hair this tube won't last very long. The good news is you can sometimes catch it on their website in the outlet for about half the price.

I love the smell of this product, it reminded me of candy. Anyway, it didn't absorb in to my hair and left it hard and coated.

Made my hair feel nice and soft. Not the easiest to distribute, but the rewards outweighed the slight inconvenience. Just wish that it came in a larger tube/container.

This product made my dry hair feel softer and smoother. It was kinda thick and hard to distribute i mixed it with my conditioner. The results were mediocre.

This product is heavy and oily in hand. It's not the easiest to distribute unless you mix it with a creamier conditioner. But I really like it. It leaves my hair soft and shiny. It even gives me a bit of curl formation. One of my staples.

Oy. The texture is awful, very difficult to distribute through my hair. After all that work of finally distributing it, the results were so-so. There are a billion other products that are better than this.

I tried this product because I'm a frequent user of all natural beauty products, but I wasn't too happy with this conditioner. I've never been a fan of shampooing after you condition- it never works for me. My hair was very flat and the curls were toned way down.

I absolutely love this product, but with my thick long hair it is too expensive to really worth buying it too often. I find it to reduce frizz significantly and smells absolutely gorgeous. It is made of oils so it is very gooey, but is definately worth trying to experience the perfection it creates.

I wanted to like it but the texture was gross, like sinus infection discharge. It was difficult to work through my hair. I had to use half the tube, even when I only had shoulder-length hair. It was incredibly difficult to wash out and didn't really seem to do much for me. Jessicurl conditioners use avocado oil and are so much better.

A thick, rich conditioner that left my hair a lot softer. I like the fact it's loaded with natural ingredients.

The label says to condition with this product first, then shampoo. That's because after using this, your hair feels like the Exxon Valdez stopped by: Oily. But thtat's a good thing for dry, frizzy hair. This product is full of natural oils: olive, orange, avocado. It has a sweet smell and left my hair feeling soft. Not tested on animals.
