My immediate reaction was "wow" with really good curl formation. But it was very, very crunchy, and once I scrunched out the crunch, the hold diminished and the wow disappeared. Also, it really was quite drying on my hair, making my hair feel "crispy" instead of soft like a gel or cream. The texture of the mousse is less creamy and more rapidly dissolving poof.

I liked this product because it defined my curls and made them manageable. I also loved the mousse applicator, it was really easy to use and did not even break after clumsy me dropped it a million times.

I've been using this mousse for some time now, and I recently brought it back out from my cupboard because I need more products to help my hair from my last nightmare haircut that I got. This mousse is good for the price. It's definitely not the best, but not the worst. It helps my curls form more into ringlets, however I do notice a bit of frizz, and if I don't use enough (or too much), the product makes my hair soft or too crunchy. Overall, not bad, I would continue buying it only for emergencies only.

Hmm.. I've had the can in my cupboards for about 2 years- I only use it when I am desperate. What I don't like is the consitency. When you dispense it, you know it is "airy" and not thick and rich. As soon as you clamp your hands to dispense it- it disappears. Don't like it at all.

This stuff smells absolutely AWESOME. All day long all I hear is "Gosh your hair smells great!! Not enough curl definition, but the lovely smell makes up for it!

this was awful. it made my hair crunchy, and frizzy. while it did make my curls tighter, i had horrible clumping so i ended up with a bunch of skinny little ringlets all over my head, topped with a ton of frizz. it was awful!

This is a good mousse, I think. It enhances curls and provides good hold. There was some crunch, but I was able to scrunch it out and my hair still looked ok. It worked well by itself and over gel to provide extra hold.

i'm with everyone on the poof factor once the crunch was out...I ended up jumping back in the shower and pulling out old products trying to squeeze out last drops of them to restyle my hair
