For me, this was as potent as a a sulfate-containing shampoo but didn't lather as much. My curls were really tangly after using.

A great bridge for those considering going poo-less.

A really nice, gentle cleanser. Because they don't really lather, it takes some getting used to but it really does clean without stripping.

Smells heavenly. I like to mix this with ACV to clean my scalp and get rid of residue. Even got my mom who isn't natural hooked on this product. Feels almost silky when applied and doesn't strip hair.

Made my hair feel very dry, tangled and straw like.. Must have been the castor oil....

It's not terrible, but sometimes it left my hair feeling a little weird. However, that could have been because I was using WAY too much of the product. I tried again two days ago and had no problems. So, now that I've cut down on how much to apply time will tell if this is a shampoo I will continue to use or not.

My hair has never looked better... but it wasn't without struggle. My scalp took awhile to adjust to the new low-poo. I use the low-poo, conditioner, and gel. My scalp was really itchy off and on for the first month. I did a brown sugar scrub twice and it really helped. It is worth it to get past the first few weeks. My hair looks fantastic. My hair is in such great shape! I got my haircut in May by a Deva specialist and don't need another cut anytime soon. My ends are great.

I really like this product. It didn't leave my hair feeling stripped. My only barrier to giving it 5 curls is the fact that I feel that it is a bit expensive!

Its great for the scalp, a little drying for the hair, so put some One Condition on your hair to protect it, and keep this stuff on the scalp only. If I don't condition before using it, I'll follow with a deep treatment. I wish there was a product that was somewhere between Low Poo and No Poo.

Once I stopped expecting the handfuls of lather that result from typical "detergent" shampoos, I realized that this product was not only cleaning my curls, but leaving them soft and nicely tamed. I am new to Devacurl, but I'm quickly developing a loyalty!

This was too mild for me. I could get away using it now and then but more than a couple of weeks and my hair got really greasy feeling even if I left it in to work on the oils for well over 5 minutes and massaged my scalp like crazy. Well worth a try for people with a dry scalp and hair. Smells heavenly.

This is the grossest shampoo I have ever used. I understand the concept about this line and did some research regarding it, so I knew what to expect. Even the guy I was dating asked me if I had taken a shower in 2 days because my hair looked so greasy. I really thought I had discovered something new, but atlas it has just joined my other hair care product graveyard under my sink. I did buy the conditioner and gel as well. It is OK, nothing special.

This stuff is expensive, so I wanted to like it, but the amodimethicone built up on my hair and dried it out with continued use.

This was an okay shampoo, but I just can't stand the smell of it. Like rotten beer of something. It's extremely overpowering.

This product has a nice feel. It really busts up the excess oil on the scalp w/o stripping, especially for those doing CG. My scalp is oily anyway and being on CG sometimes it's just too much, and this doesn't strip away everything. It's a nice consistency and the scent isn't overpowering. It has a tiny bit of lather which is nice too.

This product actually cotains a mild cleansing agent (cocamidopropyl betaine) and is basically on par with Jessicurl's Hair Cleansing Cream. It will definitely cleanse your hair of at least some mild "gunk". It has a wonderful, delicious scent (just like the Angell). For true CG'ers, I would recommend that you coat the length of your hair with conditioner and then use this on your scalp and let the suds 'rinse' down the length of your hair.

Another great Devacurl product. I love this product and love the scent. It resembles a shampoo, only thinner inconsistency, and only need a small amt to wash my scalp.

I like this, and it works well. Unfortunately, you have to use A LOT to get it through your hair and it's so thin it's hard to work with. And don't expect lather.

A great product for my frizzy, wavy hair - very gentle cleaning. I alternate it with No-Poo (but you have to get used to no lather).

Silly me, I forgot to add what I liked best--the smell. I really liked the scent of Devacurl Lowpoo.

Cleans well and works quite nicely as a gentle shampoo, but is somewhat difficult to distribute through the hair and over the scalp since it is somewhat thick and has such a small amount of lather.

This product works well, but I prefer Devacurl's No Poo.
