Product ingredients must have changed (or there is a difference in regular matrix sleek and the Matrix essentials sleek) because I just got a bottle a few days ago and the ingredients are as follows: Matrix Essenticals Sleek Look Aqua (Water) , Cetearyl Alcohol , Behentrimonium Chloride , Elaeis Guineensis Oil (Palm Oil) , Glycerin , Fragrance , Methylparaben , Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine , Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Shea Butter) , Benzyl Salicylate , Citric Acid , Chlorhexidine Dihydrochloride , Hexyl Cinnamal , Butylphenyl Methylpropional , 2-Oleamido-1,3-Octadecanediol So far works great!!!

I have been using this conditioner for a couple of years even before being a mod. CG and i found that it is really good in defining curls and controlling frizz.. my only complaint is that it is a strong conditioner.. so i can't use it everyday or the product will build up.. it works well if u use this once a week and then alternate with a lighter conditioner.Also if u need to straighten ur hair.

Great results for a week or so. Once the cones built up it was too drying

This is a great conditioner when I want to straighten my hair! It's moisturizing, detangles and keeps frizz away-even on hot, humid days.

I love it. Definitely a breath of fresh air after trying Curl Life. Literally. The smell is so much better, first of all. It also leaves me curls defined and frizz-free. And it definitely helps for those times I want to go straight. I also don't need to use a detangler on top of it, which is wonderful.
