Love, love, love this product!! It provides the right about of slippage and hydration. My hair always feels nourished and loved after using. I realize that the less I rinse it out, the softer my hair feels after washing. I've used this conditioner time and time again as a wash out, detangler and occasionally as a leave-in. Not the greatest as a leave-in for me. I like thicker products because my styles stay longer - over a period of days. As many times as I've tried other conditioners for change of routine, I still come back to this product.

I really like this. Really good value for money and smells amazing. I used it in the past n then stopped due to wanting to try more "natural" conditioner but ended up going back because a bottle of this would last twice as long as the other stuff I was trying. The only thing that has stopped me giving this a 5 is the fact the ingredients arnt obviously all that great!

I have type 2a/b wavy, fine, and porous hair. I have used this several times to co-wash and each time it makes my curl pattern fall out and my hair become somewhat bushy. My hair feels soft and hydrated, but the silicones are too heavy for my curl pattern. Sad to have to toss this one; I had such high hopes.

i have 3 textures on my hair: 3c on the front ; 4a on the rest of my hair and relaxed on the ends (yes,im still transitioning) and all those textures loved the herbal essences hello hydration conditioner! why? becuz it provided enough slip to my hair so i could detangle it easily and after that my hair was still manageable. Tip: the shampoo didn't work for me and when i first tried the shampoo and conditioner combo my hair was hard and i couldn't pass a comb trough it so if u have the same problem try to wash the hair with apple cider vinegar mix and then use the conditioner.

I love love love this conditioner! As soon as it touches my 4b curls it begins to work. I don't use combs or brushes and this conditioner makes finger detangling a breeze! it gives great slip and leaves my hair feeling super hydrated. I also love the fact that I can buy it anywhere. I have started to buy the 33oz bottle with the pump because I was going through the 12oz bottle too fast. Absolutely great conditioner for a great price...

I read many reviews on this product and it seemed like it would be great but it wasn't. I bought the HUGE bottle and after using it all I have to say it didn't to much for my hair. I didn't get much hydration at all it smelled nice but that was about it. I wont be buying this again. I get better hydration from some of the Tresemme products. I us the Giovanni intense moisture conditioner to co wash with now it is much better.

god for girls who use silicones bad for those who don't . even before i went cg method i used this and aussie moist and aussie moist was definitely better. same slip BETTER moisture. this was too perfume'y for me and when i revisited this product when i was cg method it was terrible. once you go cg method you realize what moisture is. this is not moisture. it is plastic that helps you detangle. I know it works for some but i just could never recommend

This is my very first product review. I very recently discovered HE range. And hello hydration is just the best. It keeps my hair soft and hydrated on days I don't deep condition. It does not even weigh down my 2a -2b waves. I live in India and sadly India has not quite embraced the anti-sulphate anti-silicone movement full-fledgedly. Garnier is the only silicon free condition I have seen on the shelves so this HE HH came as a blessing to me, knowing that it is CG FRIENDLY . I also use it for co washing, as a leave in and in SMT moisture treatment. I absolutely love it . The only drawback is that it does not bring out much shine but I use drop of coconut or olive oil for that . So overall, this is an awesome product. :-)

3a hair here; I used to use this all the time because it made my hair INCREDIBLY soft, almost pillowy, and it smells wonderful. Unfortunately, it contains silicones, and although my hair felt like fluffy silk, my curl pattern was nearly eliminated (i.e., my hair was poofy rather than defined waves or curls).

Not only is the smell wonderful but my curls came to life when I used this product. I used this product to do a wash and go and that came out great with no gel. I’d highly recommend this product!!! i have 3c/4a hair and this is one of my staple products. The only thing i don't like is some of the ingredients. I DID leave it in once and it made my hair soft and kept it moisturized more than ever, but i don't feel like it's healthy for my hair to leave in. Great for co-washing, detangles GREAT, and it's my deep conditioner when I add coconut oil. And oh my god....the smell is amazing.

This is a great product it helps for getting rid of tangles and help your curls form and is blissful to smell BUT it can dry out your hair over a span of time. I will never forget about it but i will be switching back and forth to other conditioner just to give my hair a rest from it. I would recommend to others because they might not experience it them selves. If you have not tried it... you should it could be your next staple.

Kind of disappointed, what with all the marvelous reviews I've read on this product. After I'd finished with it, I checked to make sure I hadn't misread the "Hello Hydration" as "Goodbye Hydration." Anyway, besides that, it left a kind of filmy feel in my hair. It does smell very nice however.

Yes, this is a really good product. I use it on my two girls who are between 3 and 4. As a curly that avoids silicone, I was disappointed when I realized that this conditioner contained a non water-soluble silicone. If this conditioner had no silicones and still did what it does, I would definitely give it 5 curls. This conditioner is thick and creamy, but easily spreads through your hair effortlessly. It works much better on freshly shampooed hair (due to the lack of silicone on the hair strand). After you come out of the shower and your hair is dry, you can see the shine and feel the softness this conditioner delivers. I have been using this almost everyday for at least three or more years, and never read the ingredients till now. If only it didnt have that silicone (it builds up)

Eh. It didn't amaze me like I thought it would, but it wasn't completely disappointing either; I think this is a better conditioner to use in the summer than the winter months. My curls like Hello Hydration but I wouldn't say that they love it. It is inexpensive, has excellent slip and great for detangling. What I don't appreciate is the lengths I have to go to rinse the conditioner completely out of my head. Also, trying to do this without slipping is very difficult because it's so slick wherever it falls in the shower. All things considered, it does what it is supposed to do. :)

Out of all the conditioners I've tried, this is the best! It's really creamy, so I had no problems detangling my hair. When I got out of the shower, my hair was unbelievably soft and shiny. The best part, though, is that it smells like a tropical coconut milkshake! The one I'm using is the new version, with bis-aminopropyl dimethicone (it's water-soluble) It also contains coconut milk, so it moisturizes pretty well. This is my HG condtitioner!

This conditioner is pretty good for the price. It has a nice scent and it seems creamier than other drug store conditioners I've tried. I only gave it two curls because some bottles out there still have silicones (confusing). I'm crazy about this conditioner and the shampoo that goes with it. I've never experienced any problems like described above. My hair has never looked better.

My DH tried this (he's a 2ab wavy). He said it was tough to rinse out of his hair and could still feel it in there after rinsing and rinsing and became frustrated. Also, a place where a dollap of its blueness landed on the tub floor--it was extremely slick when I tried to rub it off. I finally had to scratch it off with my fingernails.

Curl Rating: 3 3 Curls: Some redeeming qualiities but inconsistent or an incomplete solution. Repurchasing hesitancy.
Curl Rating: 2 2 Curls: Had at least one positive trait, but the negative outweighted the positive(s) without question.
Curl Rating: 1 1 Curl: If I were stuck on a desert island, and this product was the only one available, I'd make my own stuff on the island.
