I wonder if Burt's Bees reformulated this condish - that's the only way I can figure people saying it's thin. It's not, it's really thick. My 3B hair loves it. It doesn't smell bad, either. The smell is mild and doesn't linger. I think its moisturizing, promotes nice clumping, and when alternated with a condish that isn't as rich in protein, is a great go-to condish for dry curly hair. I think if your hair does not like protein, you won't be able to get used to this conditioner. My hair likes protein (3B, very dry and porous). Not every day, of course, so I alternate this with Aubrey Organics, which is also rich, and also with Nature's Gate which is very light. The trick is to alternate this heavy, thick, protein-rich condish with lighter treatments. It's common sense!

This conditioner was the worst that I have ever tried. The smell was odd and was nothing like raspberries. After a few washings, it left my hair feeling brittle and blah. My spirals started going flat. Couldn't even comb it through. Possibly too much protein in the product.

Switching to CG right now, so went for a cheaper conditioner. Makes my hair soft but...I'm sorry, the smell is AWFUL. I just have to plug my nose through the vomit smell (which, like others said, luckily doesn't linger), and focus on rinsing.

this conditioner did absolutely nothing for my hair. it cant detangle, or moisturize. i tried to like it, because it has natural ingredients, but its just terrible. you have to use half to bottle to even feel like you have conditioner in your hair, or to get a comb through it. i'd rather use the average conditioner with all the crap it might have in it, because at least they make my hair look good.

I love it! I really nurishes my hair add helps it clump better and leaves it full of bounce! being a 2b, I really need that! I don't know why people hate the smell, it smells like fresh rasberries. I love that it is natural too, and doesn't have the toxins in it! Could there be anything better?

I have to agree with one-way street. I have never in my life rated any product, book, movie, nothing. But this conditioner is so bad, I feel it's my duty to let people know how horrible it is. Dry, brittle, frizzy, this is just for starters.

I bought this conditioner on sale at Target. It happened to be the only conditioner I had on hand with out cones when I decided to go CG. I use it everyday with no build up. As for the smell, well it is strong but as it dries it goes away. Actually I have gotten compliments on it while my hair was drying! Works great for CO wash for me and it's all natural!

This was the worst conditioner I've ever used! The vegtable protein dried out my hair and left it so brittle and frizzy. The smell is way too strong too.

I love this product! After using it for a week, my curls are more defined and seem to "clump" together more, reducing frizz.I don't love the smell, but it does fade after a while.

This is my new favorite conditioner. It moisturises my curls without weighing them down. It works very well with or without shampooing beforehand. The smell is a little bit strong, but I got used to it and it doesn't linger once I'm out of the shower.

Much too thin and not enough moisture for me. The proteins built up quickly and it's not cheap.

just checking in to say that i'm still using it and it does the trick for me! & it doesnt seem to build up either. My only complaint might be that I need to use a lot because it's thin. That does make it easier to spread, though. & it's natural :)

I ran out of my usual DevaCurl OneConditioner and had to make an emergency trip to the local drug store. I picked up this conditioner because the ingredients were CG-friendly (no cones!) and the price was very good. Now I absolutely LOVE this conditioner! It is very liquidy, so it distributes evenly. Has a nice smell and left my curls soft without feeling weighed down. I used a bit on the ends for a leave-in and truly loved the results. I love my DevaCurl products, but this has become my conditioner of choice.
