A very good dryer. Lots of air flow, good heat settings, though it doesn't get very hot. Has a cold shot.

I had my eye on this for a while. I actally purchased just the diffuser first, but suprisingly it wouldn't fit on my dryer! Finally purchased it just over a week ago. It does work great on lifting and drying my roots, which I've always had a problem doing with other diffusers. However, it takes much longer to dry than with a universal Solano diffuser. Also, my hair is long (past my shoulders). The dryer is on the small size and unfortunately, my ends keep getting sucked in the back. Its actually damaging my hair! If you have short hair, and don't mind the drying time, I suppose this would work great. However, with my longer hair, its just not for me.

I do like it a lot now, but it definitely took some getting used to. It gives great volume on the sides and top. I also like the diffuser for drying around my bang area. I pin it and place the diffuser on top of it .. works wonders ! I don't think this would be a great dryer for long hair. My hair is a longer bob - above my shoulders. I think the traditional diffuser would work better. The nice think about this hair dryer is the negative ions. The negative ion technology is amazing. There are a number of hair dryers out there with that type of technology though. Metropolis makes an awesome one as well.

I was nervous spending so much money for a hair dryer mainly because I'm frugal -- ok downright cheap. But, it is worth every penny. My hair has never looked curlier, less frizzy, softer, and shinier. And, when my husband notices, that is saying something! I'm a 3A with hair just past my shoulders. I clip my hair for 1/2 hour and let air dry, then remove the clips, turn my head upside down and let the dryer do its thing on high, high heat. I find that it gets hot, so I move it from place to place on my head gently moving my hair towards the root with the diffuser. When I'm done, I gently turn my head over and do nothing else! I love this product -- thank you, thank you Deva for another winner.

I was very disappointed with this product as well. Glamour magazine was raving it as the best product out there for curly hair- so of course I had to try it. I got it and was soo discouraged. My hair is very limp after blowdrying it, the attachment keeps coming off, it made my hair EXTRA frizzy, and it had no shine whatsoever. And they wont even let us return them!! So now I am stuck with a $185 product that blows!

A nice dryer but I have to use it on high with the high heat to get any curl or my hair ends up limp. The cool shot button works very well and it does leave me with shinier hair and less frizz. However, I think the price is steep. I use this dryer with my large bowl diffuser.

It actually makes my hair too soft and limp. I have very long hair that is almost straight at the roots, so I need something that will give me some volume and this didn't do it. It would be better for someone with curlier, fuller, courser hair.
