Chevelure - Hair Type: 3c I probably should have realized that I didn't need the Devafuser when the two times I've visited the Devachan Salon they put me under a hair dryer. I asked about the Devafuser, but got some kind of noncomittal answer.
When I bought the attachment last year, it kept falling off my blow dryer. My arm got very tired during the process and it was difficult to do anything else. Moreover, I don't need lift, just the opposite.
I called Devachan and asked for some dryer suggestions, but no one would help me.
Someone on this forum posted a list of compatible hair dryers and I may buy one some time. I recently bought a $30 portable hair dryer that I found the Amazon site and found that after 20 minutes my hair is almost completely dry. I do some spot work with a diffuser.
If I end up trying the Devafuser again, I'll probably try using it for the hair underneath and then finish off with the portable dryer.

CurlA - Hair Type: 3a It's a great diffuser. It dried my hair much quicker and I was more in control of styling the curls. Also it dried my roots much quicker and gave them a nice lift. However, the adapter part kept coming off. It was very annoying as even though it dried my hair quicker I ended up spending a lot of time putting the diffuser back on my hair drier as it gets really hot, too. I guess I need to get the whole thing, drier with the diffuser.

AlphaLyrae - Hair Type: 3b OMG! I am reading the reviews and I am shocked! I absolutely love, Love, LOVE my DevaFuser! Not only does it quicken my drying time, it gives my hair plenty of root lift! And I have NEVER had a problem with frizz when I use mine. In fact, it seems to help keep my frizz at bay! I'm not sure what's going on with other users of the product, but I can do nothing but absolutely rave about my experience with it!

moniquereese - Hair Type: 3a I bought this product, but similar to many other posters, it does NOT fit on my hairdryer despite saying it fits 99% of hair dryers. I am not ready to invest in a new hair dryer to try out this diffuser, so back to the store it goes!

patrice1164 - Hair Type: 3a I am glad I did not invest in the complete dryer and opted to buy the diffuser that would retro fit my hair dryer. This is a very difficult tool to use- perhaps more practice is needed?

AliS - Hair Type: 3b It is supposed to be a universal fit. However, it did not fit my dryer.
I have a brand new dryer (HotTools less than 1 year old). Currently I use a Solano universal which does indeed fit.

drivenburg - Hair Type: 3a I was very disappointed with this product as well. Glamour magazine was raving it as the best product out there for curly hair- so of course I had to try it. I got it and was soo discouraged. My hair is very limp after blowdrying it, the attachment keeps coming off, it made my hair EXTRA frizzy, and it had no shine whatsoever. And they wont even let us return them!! So now I am stuck with a $185 product that blows!

icequeen - Hair Type: 3a 2 curls minus. I couldn't wait to get this diffuser and dryer but am disappointed. It's awkward to use, musses curls, and falls off the dryer at times. When I was at Devachan, it was only used to dry the ends of my hair and no one was using it up and under hair. It's a disappointment.

sarah - Hair Type: 3a I recently purchased this product after falling in love withthe devacurl line. altough i am still used to tipping my hair upside down to dry it, this product is wonderful. my hair dries my faster, tighter, and frizzless. it feels much bouncier and full of life!it is an investment but well worth it!

mizmemmy - Hair Type: 3a I had high hopes for this product, but it doesn't work well enough to justify the high price tag. My hair is about waist length, and while this diffuser would dry the hair next to my scalp much faster than anything else I've used, it didn't work so well on the rest of my hair. Since I could not place my hair in the bowl of the diffuser like I can with my traditional diffuser, I had a lot of trouble keeping my hair from blowing every which way and becoming frizzy. I would end up drying my roots with the DevaDryer, and then finishing the rest of my hair with my $20 dryer.
