I love love love this leave in. 4 curls because it acts funny sometimes on my fine, low porosity hair. On VERY (emphasis) wet/ warm hair it foams alot and absorbs into my hair with very little residue. On wet (cool)/damp/ dry hair I have to squeeze the product into my hair before managing it and I end up with more 'white top' than on very wet hair and I usually have to squeeze the product out in certain areas, it really depends on the varying porosity of each of my strands. For my fine frizz prone hair which loves protein-balanced conditioners It really minimizes frizz, detangling is a breeze, and it gives me nice moisturized/clumped coils/curls (I have a mixture). This is a staple of mine ... I highly recommend. Another gripe of mine is that it doesn't come in a bigger size.
Great leave in conditioner. It provides my 4b high porosity hair with moisture and definition. I use a generous amount and seal with Carol's Daughter Hair Balm and have a great (soft, coil definition, and shine) wash n go without gel. If I want more precise definition I layer gel on top. The oils, extracts, and proteins seem to work very well together to help my hair maintian moisture. If you are committed to using the CG method, I would definately give this one a try. It seems to work well with a lot of different gels as well and that is always a plus. It's economical and the ingredients are benficial I don't think I can ask for much more.
I bought this product at Mom's Organic Grocery Stores for $7 based on the fact that it got raving reviews, but it did not do SQUAT for my hair. I have 3b-3c hair and my hair is extremely soft, so it frizzes a lot when it is dry. I am constantly looking for products that do things: 1) curl my hair a litte more 2) eliminate frizz, i.e a good polisher. This product did either :-( and even though it was only $7, I was dissatified, I took it back!
Oh my god! This leave-in is amazing. I have the frizziest hair known to mankind, and the only stuff that had worked on me before this was Mixed Chicks. Anyone who uses that can tell you it's kind of exensive (and it has some not-so-nice ingredients). I had a few extra dollars to spend and I was reading reviews for leave-ins, and I thought I would give this a try. Damn. First of all, it smelled great! This leave-in completely tamed my wild frizzies but kept my curls bouncy, not an overmoisturized, limp thing. My hair drank this stuff. And it's about $13 cheaper than Mixed Chicks... So YAY for this stuff!
Smelled great, but it left white pieces in my hair...something in it obviously offended my curls LOL I still think it's a great leave-in, just not for me
I picked this up based on the high marks from other users. I have 3b hair, which gets super dry in the winter. This makes my hair baby soft without being sticky or weighed down. Love it!
I think this is a great leave-in. It reminds me of Mixed Chicks and is a lot cheaper. All of these products work really well on my hair. These are quality products which can be bought at the grocery store.
I have combination 3a/3b/3c hair. One side of my head is 3a, the other is and the lower back of my head is 3b (perfect curls) and the middle of my head is 3c (really dry and bushy). I have had a hard time trying to find a leave-in conditioner that will leave my hair with a lot of moisture, fit frizz and enhance the curl in the middle of my head. BWC does it all. It is wonderful and would recommend it to every one. Love it, love it, love it.
I'm a fine-haired 4a/b and this provides moisture and definition for my hair without heavy weight. Its very light so the first time I used this years ago I thought I was making a mistake but once dried my hair had shine and moisture. I use this in the summer in place of my beloved Keihl's leave-in, which I use in winter.
A very nice leave-in, CG, light, clumps curls well and helped with shrinkage. I just wish there were a tad more moisture, but I still like it. Great price, too!
This is absolutely wonderful! I get great clumping, it's easy to distribute, it's just moisturizing enough for me and it enhances my curl! It's reasonably price too and on sale often yay! My hair is 3a medium to thick strands and easily weighed down but needs some moisture. I'll never be without it again!
This totally zapped all of my summer-humidity frizz so I was frizzless (hurrah!), but it also pulled out my curls into soft waves. My hair was softer than it's ever felt and actually silky with this leave-in. A genuinely conditioning leave-in! (I was tempted to give it 3 curls because it pulled out my curls, but the frizz fighting deserved a 4 curls.)
I like this a lot for the summer, since its consistency is like a light lotion, but definitely not watery; it distributes easily through hair and not a lot is needed (although I like to use a lot!) The scent is herbal-y, but not bothersome, IMO.
Nice as a light conditioner, but doesn't provide alot of moisture. Decent when used under other styling products.
I really like this product. I found that I don't really need very much even on my hiplength. It keeps my hair soft and moisturized. My curls love it!
