I really like this spray gel. It's by far the best one I've ever tried--it even gives my hair crunch and a medium amount of hold. I can't rake product through my hair, so using spray gel allows me to more evenly distribute the gel. Most of the time, I use it over a leave-in.

This is def. a staple in my hair routine.... It is absolutely amazing for a drugstore product. It defines my curls and doesn't make them crunchy at all. I use it in coordination with a leave-in-conditioner and blow-dry with a diffuser. Not to mention, the heavenly smell. It's so funny how different hair responds so differently to products b/c I noticed the previous reviewer said she replaced this spray with Garnier's curl cream. I hated the curl cream SOOO much!! I have 3a/3b hair

This used to be a go-to gel. I have since replaced it with Fructis curl creme. While it did the job in helping my moose keep the frizz inline, it added a stiffness and sometimes flakiness that didn't want.

This personally did not do what it said it would do. After applying my hair didn't feel crunchy instead it felt dirty and went limp not the best gel.Instead I prefer IC's clear gel.

This product is great for my 5 yr old daughters hair, as for mine I need a lot of product for the length of my hair, and the spray pump clogs up too fast. I ended up with a frizzy mess of hair. Not the product for me

This stuff is disgusting! It leaves a disgusting film of your hair total waste of money plus it's sticky and makes your hair hard a crunchy

This has an O.K. hold for me. I usually prefer more hold. This can kinda sorta fill the role of hairspray sometimes. For example, you can use it to spray and updo in place. All and all, it is nothing special.

Pros-It keeps away frizz all day, and you don't need a lot for it to work Cons- It doesn't really give great hold, but like I said earlier, it keeps that frizz away

Its ok...just not by itself. My 3a curls can get sticky and crispy, but if i need extra strong hold its good :)

Its okay. If i get lazy or if im too busy to wash my hair, this sort of helps. My my hair is hard and stringy and... yuck. But in my time of need, it works pretty well

I don't use this as my go-to curling product, but it works really well for second-day hair. I spray it in dry hair and scrunch before bed, and when I wake up I have pretty, crunch-free coils!

It kept my curl definition better, but it left my curls a little more stringy and looser than with another product I had used that had 'cones in it. I also can feel the gel in my hair if I do a condish rinse the next day and do not use the gel.

This product isn't very good by itself. It makes hair slightly crunchy and sticky (and it looks that way too); it also does little for frizz. However, I've learned that it is marvelous to use sparingly after you've smoothed and shaped your curls with another product. I was using Redken Crystal Curls and had some lazy clumps that just weren't curling... until I sprayed this Garnier stuff on my hair, and boom - suddenly I had shiny, amazing looking ringlets all around. For this reason I will continue buying it. In the end, for the price, it is decent.

I use this product for bedhead hair. My curls spring back to life and off I go!

I use to use this all the time while I was transitioning and I worked well. But, I don't like it as much since I did my big chop.

Not my favorite, for sure. My hair needs quite a bit of taming & this doesn't quite do the trick. It's perfectly fine if I don't mind wisps of frizz flying about for the day-

Still have a quarter of the bottle in my bathroom cause this dried up my hair, left it hard and crunchy!! Will never use again!!

WOO!!!! L-O-V-E this stuff. It defines my curls, makes them really springy, and is easy to apply. I put it all over my hair before I plop, and then I spray it in certain areas before I root clip. LOVE it. And it's really cheap.

dont use this but do try the curl shaping spray with the yellow or the green hold not the red tho

This gel dried out my hair & made it a crispy stringy mess.

Great product, great price. I use this in dripping wet hair, plop. then spraya bit more all over, and I love it. great hold, curl formation... and you just can't beat the price for the quality!

I don't use this as a spray gel, I take the lid off and apply it with my hands as a regular gel. I really like it! It provides great hold, shine, and frizz reduction. I alternate with DevaCurl AnGell and this is a pretty darn good substitution.

it works for touch ups but i don't recoment it from scratch as it makes the hair dry and stringy...but styling for an updo it works

This gel is okay. Although it does define and shape curls well, it doesn't have enough hold for my 3C's throughout the entire day. I have to spray a lot just to ensure that I'll have enough frizz control for an entire day. Probably won't be purchasing this product again.

Pretty good hold for the money. Found this at Target for less than $3.oo. I had pretty good results with this good clumping hold. For my 3b it was a lighter hold and I used it over a leave in. Works really well to hold root volume while diffusing upside down. Well it did for me anyway...and it smells pretty good too as does all GF prods. I gave only it a 3 because you still need a leave in with it for clumping.

I guess every person's hair is different, because this product has been an excellent find for me! I used some this morning, mixed with the Garnier Fructis Brilliantine Creme Gel and my curls are perfect little ringlets right now (I love it when the "girls" behave themselves!). This is especially funny because these two products cost me a grand total of $6, and I just returned $37.50 worth of Aveda Be Curly products that didn't work nearly as well on my hair as these two bargain finds. Perfect curl formation, nice hold - not stickly or clumpy at all.

I don't like this on wet hair, but on dry hair it's my HG. It's salvaged second-day and even third-day hair for me -- a few spritzes and scrunches and my curls are revived and ready for another day. And it's cheap enough to have both at work and at home.

I use this on dry second day hair to revive my curls. I just have to watch out for the pyramid effect.

Can't say much for this gel. It doesn't spray well, so you have to spray it in your hands. It gave me some definition, but my curls were very dry and crunchy. I threw it away.

This is a very good gel. I found I had to spray it into my hands and then apply it. Good all day hold even in humidity.

This product made my curls thinner and stringier than I like. I also didn't like the waxy touch and heavy weight, even when I used very little. The spray didn't disperse very well so I had to spray it in my hand and apply like regular gel to avoid getting too much in, but even that technique left me with waxy-feeling, thin curls. The hold barely lasted a few hours before the weight of the product weighed down my curls, too.

Three words...dry, hard, crunchy!

WEW! This product definately gives my curls definition, along with crunchy, hard, motionless curls. It was a bit drying to my hair also. Maybe if used lightly and with caution it would work better.

Spray gel just does not seem to cut it for my hair. In order to control the frizz, it requires so much that it makes it stiff and dry feeling.

I used this product all summer and it majorly dried my hair out!! It also makes crunchy curls! I would NOT recommand it.

Made my hair sticky and stringy. In the trash it went :(

This stuff did nothing but make my 3a hair sticky, greasy, and more frizzy. Other Garnier products are much better.
