Considering the price, I've been very satisfied with this product... But I do not use it alone. I mix this product with Zero Frizz Anti-Frizz Serum, and together, I find they make the PERFECT, low-cost secret weapon to define curls withous stickiness/stiffness, enhance shine, & KILL frizz!

My hair didn't curl, was too crunchy, and very stringy. However, the second I scrunched out the crunch, the hold failed, and it got poofy.

This was a decent gel to hold me over as I went on my search for the perfect combination. I'd spay on some Pantene defrizzing (can't remember exact name...), and then srunch in the TreSemme. It had okay hold, but not what you would expect considering the thickness of the product. My hair is very thick, so I need a lighter product with great hold (if that makes any sense!). End result---poofy hair, some frizz.
