It is a good product and it curled my hair very well however it left may hair flakey and dry. I need something more where my hair will reatin teh moisture. I also didnt like the ending texture of my hair. So now on to the next product.

This was an allright product. I would not buy it again because it wasn't strong enough for my 3b curls.

I was not impressed. It really weighed my hair down, and it looked like there was a lot of "build up" in my hair. It didn't have any hold, and my hair frizzed. The smell was nice, but that was one of the ingredients that make it really toxic. I would not recommend it to anyone.

This has been my HG gel for the past year! I have shoulder length hair thats 3b and I use a quarter and a half size amount and scrunch it in upside down, let it air dry for a half an hour or more if I have the time and diffuse=perfect curls!

alone, it is not enough. i mix this with pantene classic control gel & it gives me the control i need. it does leave my hair a little sticky & not the nice looser curls i'd like, but i've come to learn i can only expect so much from products.

it's ok i guess...i like the scent but it didn't really give me the crunchy hold and it actually made my type 3a hair droopy and nappy not the best product but i like the scent

Absolutely awful! It HONESTLY was like I put nothing in my hair. I put maybe 2 palmfuls in my hair (and only that much because I saw nothing happening) and it was as if I had only shampooed with a harsh shampoo and no conditioner or anything else. It tangled my hair a lot, too.

This is a decent gel for curly hair from the Garnier line. I use it in conjunction with the leave-in conditioner for curly hair from their line. It gives good hold but not as strong as I expected judging from the label (Strong, crunchy...etc.) I didn't notice any "crunch" but it does give curls good definition and not much frizz. I would purchase this product again whenever I'm on a budget and can't afford the salon stuff.
