This stuff worked for me for a long time but I recently just changed to something new and cheaper. This is good stuff but if you use too much it will make your hair crunchy. If you use too little you may still have a lot of frizz and flyaways. Didn't really define my curls at all now that I think about it. But it was good for a scrunch and go.

I love this gel. This, plus my leave in conditioner, gives me great curls that last for days. It does dry a little crunchy, but with some scrunching I end up with soft curls. The only minus is that I have to use a lot.

This is my daily gel! It provides better, more consistent hold than any other drugstore brands I've tried, without excessive buildup.

I actually liked it! I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. Well, my hair is super picky (ugly) and nothing works too well on it, and I have tried many gels in the past. This is probably the 2nd best gel that I have tried. The Dimethicone is actually water soluble, so it doesn't really give me any problems. My hair is always bouncy and frizz free when I use this gel. I really like it, and would purchase again. The only bad aspects are that it takes forever for my hair to air dry when I use this, and that it does seem to weigh down my hair because I have to use a lot of it to get the effect that I want. Pretty good, overall, in my humble opinion:)

This stuff is good..it definitely controls my curls but I need ALOT of it..so while it's a good price, it's a little bottle and you need to use alot of it. It will make your hair crunchy if you let it air dry completely.

I used this for several years- but for some crazy reason my hair becomes immune to products over time. It's fairly decent, if I recall correctly. But it seemed to leave a bit of gunk..

This product definitely helped shape and add bounce to my curls, but wasn't so good at taming flyaways and fighting frizzies.

I love DevaCurl AnGell but was getting sick of the price, so I picked up a bottle of this stuff. I am giving this product 2 curls because it is wonderful at first. Creates well-defined, bouncy, shiny curls. The problem? The dimethicone eventually stretched my botticelli curls out leaving me with very loose curls and less volume. Good for girls with tighter curls who aren't afraid of cone buildup. Washed the cones out of my hair and opted for the CVS version of Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel. I will never go back!! I love it so much, you have no idea. Try it. It costs about $2!! Trust me, I am a picky picky girl.

[3b/c] This gives great definition to curls and frizzes a lot less than other cone products. It is worth a try and has a great price. I use it every time I style now in combination with Miss Jessie's Baby Buttercram.

(2bcFii) I think I like this. Not an HG by any stretch, but I put loads in my dripping wet hair, scrunched, plopped, and ended up with soft shiny wavy/curly hair. A little frizzy and undefined but no crunch and no producty feeling, which I should have had given the amt I use. I'll probably buy it again as a backup.

This product helped tame some of my curl but I still had a lot of frizz/flyaways. One redeeming quality is that it did make my curls bouncy. I'll definitely be searching for something better.
