I'll admit, I used this for the first time today. However, it was put through the test today. It's hot, it's humid (to the point where it was misting earlier and you just felt wet), and I've messed with it A TON today. It has a watery consistency, so it spreads extremely easily and I don't have to use very much of it. It applied to to t-shirt dried hair in sections, most just spread over my canopy and then scrunched. My hair has been fantastic today!!! I'm in love with this gel!!
Im a 4b and used this gel underneth Long aid activator gel and so far I'm really liking this..Was looking for a replacement for Eco Styler Gel and I think this is it
Great gel for only $6.00! Gives good formation, and I add a drop of honey to give my hair a little shine. The new name of it is Naturelle, not Aura. It also has no cones, so no buildup!!
I have consistently good luck with this one. I get good hold, and the crunch is easily scrunched out once my hair is completely dry. Great price too - less than $6 for 8 oz. at Sally's. I think they've changed the name to Naturelle Hypo-allergenic, but it's basically the same product.
My hair had a halo of frizz like none other and it looked dry. I used this gel on top of Elucence as a leave-in. Blah. I think my dry hair needs more moisture. Back to my curl activator gel......
I really love this gel! I bought this gel on a tip from another curly. It is a thin protein free CG gel that has no scent. It makes my hair very soft and really shiny. Great HG for me for warm humid weather. No flaking or crunchiness (after scrunching) even when I think I have over applied. It has a flexible hold. Works great with a leave in or even alone. I don't think I can go back to a cheaper gel!
