I really love this product. It doesn't weigh down my hair and holds my hair all day. It can be used in wet hair and again to "revive" curls after your hair is dry. The only reason I didn't give this product a five curl review is because it DOSE have methalparaben(that's not spelled right:( ). But over all it's still a great product that I'll continue to use.

this product was the best i have ever tried most products don't hold like this one does it does exactly what it says it does on the bottle it make my curls more defined and not crunchy it makes beautiful taylor swift curls too

This is the only product I use for my 3b/2c hair. I found it in my mom's bathroom (she used it a long time ago) and I picked it up and tried it since my hair just started getting curly, I love this and I'm almost at my last drop after 6 months of use. I says what it does, like it is suppose to help split-ends heal (I guess that is how you would say it) and after a while I have not gotten a lot of split-ends like I used to. My local stores don't sell it, but I'm buying it online. I have try mousse and cream and it makes my hair very crunchy, but this does not.

I'm 4a and have defined coils, but frizz when dry is a big issue. i can say that this product gave me lasting definition and some moisture. I would use this and another moisturizer, but it's great for after cowashing and your hair is damp

Very cone heavy, that's the only drawback! This stuff gave me WOW waves. One of the few curl enhancers that I have tried that actually really works.

I've only used this for 1 day now and im already AMAZED!!! i love this product and its the only one i use. it makes my curls start all the way at the top of my head and it gives my locks excelent moisture. i have tried a couple products like this before and it is by far my favorite. 1. i live in a really hot area and its really humid so my hair frizzes and i get the little frizzy hairs on the top of my head(a lot more than usual!!!) but with this, i spent all day outside in the beating sun and its still kept my curls nice 2. i think it smells really good. it doesnt have much of a smell but it doesnt smell artificial and i like that about it 3. at the end of the day, my hair is usually frizzy and poofier than it was at the beggining and it looks awful! with this, it looked the same all throughout the day!!! its a really good product and i would recomend it to all the curly heads out there :D 4. it also made my hair softer. when i run my hands through my hair, it reals lighter and softer than normal. 5. its also really good cuz it has no sulfates, paraben, phthalate, or sodium so its a pretty good product minus the fact that it has some silicones (which is OK for me considering all the things it doesnt have) i wouldnt use it every day but once every two or three days would be a good thing! i love this and i hope this helps those of you who are interested in buying it...its really worth it and its not expensive

I used this for several years, but then switched to the same product, but the mousse. That works much better for me, it doesn't make my hair as crunchy.

I really like this product because it leaves my curls soft and smooth, as well as bumping them from a 2c to a 3a! I mix it with a leave-in conditioner so it isn't too concentrated in a single place and scrunch away! I'm on my second bottle, and I plan on buying it again.

I tried this because my roomate swears by it and gets great soft and shiny results (she is about a 2c). In my med. textured hair however, it made my hair nasty. I used it as I would a gel, and it felt greasy and totally pulled my curls out, and seemed to give zero hold for me. Maybe it is all the 'cones.

This product gave me good curl formation, but the silicones in it started to make my hair greasy after using it for a few days!

Not Curls Up but Curl Booster- fixative gel gives great definition, at least for 3a hair types. Advice- don't use too much or else you will have to scrunch it forever when it's dry to make it look soft again

It made my hair dry,i think it was the cones. It did define my coils

I like this product. After I wash my hair, I just comb through a palm-full. It defines my curls and keeps hair soft. My hair is thick and full of tight ringlets, but it tends to frizz up if I use this product alone. Now I just add a strong-hold styling gel for longer lasting results.

I love this stuff! NO frizz, and hair is smooth, bouncy and shiny! I have never had a crunchy curl yet and this is my fourth bottle. Target and walgreens both carry it, but target is cheaper at under $4. I put it on soaking wet, though if the hair is dry I have done it well then too. With dry hair, I just tend to wet the hair down a bit first then water the gel down in my hands just a bit with a teaspoon or so so it spreads around more evenly on NOT soaking wet hair. Hours after this gets applied on (shower fresh wet) hair is soft soft! A friend of mine bought some seeing it in my bathoorm and ended up giving it to me after a few uses, it did nothing on her hair that is only a bit fuller/wavier than straight hair. Not a curly head, which this prosdcut was designed for obviously as defines NOT produces curls, which I what I think she was trying to get to happen. All my other bottles and tubes go unused now.

I wouldn't use this alone because it's very weak. I have 3a curls and I use it on top of mousse or to give my hair a boost at the end of the day or the next day.

I used to swear by this product, and I probably still would- but I cycle through different products all the time, but this is one of my favorites. I mix it with a little gel while my hair is still damp. Very good curl formation, but be careful not to use too much as it tends to make hair look greasy.

Best used when hair is still damp / towel dry. Creates long curly curls even in type 2 hair. Run the gel through hair and squish the curls in, let it dry. "Brush" it out after it's dry. Curls stay for days. Great after swimming. Not crunchy. One caution: If your hair takes a long time to dry like mine, it may take even longer with this product.
