I really liked this product at first because it defined my waves without stiffness. It also initially reduced frizz and volume, which I liked. However, a major problem were the white flakes that I noticed on my hair and my black shirt. There was a noticeable amount of flakiness on my shirt. As such, I will use the remainder of this product only when I wear light-coloured shirts. Another major problem was that the hold did not last until the end of the day and was almost completely gone by the second day. My hair was quite frizzy on the second day. I will not re-purchase.

Love, love, love! This product evens out my curls which range from 2c to 3b, depending on which part of my hair and the product used. Now I am all 3B and loving it! Totally cute!! Spiral city! It created and maintained clumps which is very useful to me.

I loved this lotion but had to stop using it after I went cg :/ . Made my curls POP.

Really good product! For type 2b/c hair I think a little will go a long way. But it gives a really good hold. My hair was SUPER curly and stayed all day.

I have been using this product even before I knew of the curly girl routine. That said, this is my FAVORITE!!!!! I have been using it for years with experimenting with other products and nothing really compares yet. It gives me really great hold but doesn't weigh down my curls. Love the texture because I'm normally a gel kinda girl, but this lotion is practically the consistency of a light gel. It always leaves my curls soft, bouncy, and shiny throughout the day. I don't get second day hair with this but I also never really get second day hair anyways. The smell is very lemony which I either love or hate depending on my mood, but it goes away seriously fast, like right when you put it in your hair fast! I constantly have bottles under my sink(currently 4 bottles) and I clear out the shelves whenever it goes on sale, it is a pretty affordable product. I just scrunch it in and go, maybe twirling some pieces around my fingers. Great product!

This product is amazing! I have tried many things for my hair and this is one of the best. The recently stopped making my old hair product and i needed to find something new. This works just as well as my other stuff and it's half the price! I use this and then spray my hair with the Strictly Curls Curl Booster and i'm ready for my day! I recommend this to anyone with curly hair!

I bought this product a couple of days ago and i loveeeee the way it leave my curls feeling and looking soft defined and frizz free :D I will definitely be buying this again. The only thing i didnt like too much was the smell..it reminded me of lemons..but with a chemically linger to it...i dont know but other than that lovedd it :)

I like this a lot because it really defines my curls and it smells good. The key for this product is to use it on soaking wet hair with a moisturizer underneath. I used Baby Buttercream as my moisturizer then the Marc Anthony curl cream. I would definitely recommend this.

It's not CG, but before I went CG this product was great, I didn't need to use anything with it, it held great, and gave me nice waves. It gets only 3 curls because it does have a 'cone.

This product here is pretty good . I used this on top of my Aussie Hair Insurance Leave in conditioner spray , and my shoulder length curls are nicely defined and smell great . Reason for just 4 stars ? It did try just a BIT crunchy , which was easily scrunched out but I much rather not have to do all that and risk the frizz . Great for use in the currently humid weather in NYC where I live .

This product is okay...it has a fruity smell and it does it's job. Consistency is sticky!!

I LOVE this product. I've been using it for about a year as a leave-in after washing. I haven't found anything comparable for the price!

This product was ok. It was very thin and worked into my hair well. I had nice curls for the morning and then as the day progressed, I saw alot more frizz. By the time I was ready for bed it was a poofy mess. I would not use this alone, but I do use it to tame any curls or frizz I have after using other products. There is no second day hair for me when using this product.

I love this product! All i did was apply it to my soaking wet hair in the shower and finger combed it through and i was all set. It does take a while to dry so i use my diffuser. But my curls are so defined with no frizz which is something i haven't been able to achieve with any other product before (except KCCC). The price was just right and the scent was really nice too. I noticed some of the negative results some people stated with the product and i wonder if it's based on an old formula. I have the bottle in front of me right now and the ingredients are different than what is stated on this site. My bottle has no Parabens, Carbopol, or Fragrance listed in it. In fact it clearly states that it is Alcohol and Paraben free! I highly recommend this, especially if you have really thick hair like i do, because it allowed my hair to dry and lay better as opposed to it drying up and looking like a frizzy afro. There was some crunch to it, maybe because i used a ton of it to coat my hair, but the style and curls stayed all night long with no problems and i was out at different events for over 10 hours. Woke up the next morning and curls were still there and just needed some water to hydrate and refresh the curls. I love it!

I got this product yesterday and when I first used this it was ok because I used a gel with it. But then Today I used it by itself and it made my curls defined, not hard like gel and it is not sticky. It didn't give me flakes like other people did and plus it smells like LEMONS I like lemons lol !

This product gives my waves good definition and lasts pretty well through the humid summer where I live. It gave me good second day waves as well with a sprinkle of water to refresh. Not crazy about the lemon scent though.

I actually really like tis product.. leaves volume/ gives lots of shine/ does well in humdity.. but you most do a deep cond b4... and curl booster lol

It made my hair frizzy. It smells sort of gross. Flatened my hair. Don't buy it, not worth the money

This product is great for frizzy, very wavy hair. It makes my hair silky and defined, and is not crunchy like a gel. For me, it lasts all day. I would recommend it to any type 2.

I didn't like this line at all. No curl definition, lots of frizz and my hair felt dry after using it.

this product it truly a blessing!!!! it smells awesome and it doesnt make your curls hard at all. they areperfectly defined and everything! they must have updated the formula they use to make this stuff because there is no flaking in my hair when i use it. i go around showing off my curly hair to everyone with eyes because my hair loved this stuff.

I actually really love this product!! I just started using it 3 weeks ago and I give this a "4 curls", I have 3b hair and it doesnt leave it flaky and stays really nice until the next day. I actually like this stuff a lot ... I didn't get the "flakes" that others mentioned and I like the lemon scent. Gives my 3a hair pretty good curl formation, which is nice since it used to have days where it seemed to want to be more, um, "lumpy" than curly.

I've used this off and on for over a year. I loved it at first, until I noticed the flaking. I just pulled it out again this morning to give it another chance. I have to say - my curls look great - very soft and no frizz. Not an everyday solution, but I will use it again.

Controls frizz well, gives great definition and form.

I don't like this product at all. My hair feesl dull and producty, and started to get really frizzy by only mid day. Nice lemony smell if you like that for a hair product. I paired it with the Marc Anthony Humdity sheild anti-frizz cream with poor results. Definately a waste of my money.

This is okay, and was a bit better when paired with the shampoo and conditioner, but it's really sticky and makes my hair take twice as long to dry...if you're willing to put up with this, it's an pretty good product, though.

Gave me great definition but I couldn't run my fingers through my hair. Lotion made it a bit stiff and flaked too much.

This stuff left my hair white and flaky...dont recomend unless you have fine hair

This is a really good product, I usually use about 1-1 1/2 tablespoons and I make sure to coat my ends. It makes it so easy to define my hair -without using hairspray!

This product left my hair with little curl definition and worked against my layered cut. I tryed this several times before I tossed the bottle. Smells like lemons

ok curl formation, but not as long lasting as my other products and it flaked really bad, looked like i had dandruff

Love this product!!!! No crunch at all. Gives me soft, full defined curls. This product works wonderfully for me day after day. Nice clean scent that doesn't linger. I use it by itself. I have fine, 3A hair.

I had pretty good luck with this. Got nice curl formation and definition, no stickiness or crunch. Frizzies started creeping in mid- to late-day.
