I used this after the Hydrating Invigorating Shampoo stripped my hair. I used the entire 1 oz sample size on my hair to make sure it was completely covered with conditioner, then I sat under a heat cap for 20 minutes. The conditioner had slip when I put it in, and my hair felt moisturized when I took off the heat cap; but that is where the positives end. As soon as I washed the conditioner out, my hair felt dry again. This may work better for me as a cowash.

Just okay for me. Good as a DC, smells great. But nothing special really. I will finish using the product, but probably won't ever purchase it again unless I found it like 50% off or something.

Works well as a cowash and I can easily detangle with it. My only qualm is that my hair feels great until I rinse it out. After rinsing, it's just okay.

I literally JUST used this condition and it is THE BEST !! As soon as I applied it, my hair was easily separating as i detangled it and it had great slip. It smells really good , left my hair extremely soft , and made my hair really easy to manage as i did my wash and go. My curls are also more defined than usual in certain areas. My mother had bought this a while ago and I found it laying around in the cabinet, and decided to use it since i haven't used any jane carter products in a while and that was the BEST decision i've made. Going to buy more tomorrow.

This made my hair soooo soft!! I love it! I left it on for 15 minutes, 10 were under a blowdryer. I'm loving the softness and overall feel of my hair!

i have 3a/3b curls and am biracial. I love this conditioner because it is smoothing to my hair. I leaves my hair fresh, soft, and touchable. I am able to detangle my hair as well!!

Me- Type 4A. Natural for 3 years, responsibly natural for 1 year. Rating- I took one curl away for smell, 1 curl away for price, and one curl away for the lack of results. Smell- Like some lotions and reminds me of this product call perm repair. Not fruity but not nasty smelling. Makes My Hair Feel Like- Soaks in pretty fast, no slick feeling. Pros- None at the time. Cons- Don't like the smell, dissolves quickly, don't feel any changes. Remarks- I also won this in one of the many contests on the website (have never been so lucky). The conditioner didn't make my hair feel slick or made my hair feel different. It felt like I was using one of my basic suave or v05 conditioners. The smell was a downside for me. After using the shampoo which stripped my hair the conditioner didnt repair or make it feel unstripped. I figured this product helps from the inside out. Even after using the leave in conditioner and curl defining cream my hair still felt stripped or unprotected. I think this product is very light and maybe useful for type 3 hair and lower or it could be used for long 4a hair in the humid summer whose curls arent frizzed or easily messed up if that makes sense. I will store this for the summer next year and see how it works!

This is a great conditioner. It saved my hair from the supposed to be Jane Carter hydrating shampoo. This is the only product out of Jane Carter's line I will use. The rest drys my hair too badly.

My friend used this on my hair after washing with Jane Carter's SLS Free Shampoo. All I can say is THANK YOU! It made my hair super soft & it smells great too. I would definitely recommend. After the final styling was done, I couldn't keep my hands out of my head :)

I used this on my daughter's 4a curls at the recommendation of her stylist. Negatives: Overpowering scent, had to use 1/3 of the bottle on her 9 in long (stretched) curls, end result was not as moisturizing as I wanted. Positives: It provided excellent slip and made detangling a cinch. It did feel rich and creamy in her hair, but when rinsed out (after sitting for 10 minutes while she played in the tub) the result was underwhelming. I had to follow with our tried and true Blended Beauty Curl Quenching Conditioner to get the moisture INTO her hair. We won't buy it again.

This product worked great at replenishing my hair when I had a relaxer, but now that I'm natural I haven't seen the same results. It just lays on my hair...I don't think it penetrates at all. Doesn't do anything for me now.

I only used it once so far with a heating cap and I really liked the results, my hair was very soft afterwards...will have to try it as a regular conditioner to see what results I get....

This product was a bit underwhelming. It gave pretty good slip, but on my 4a hair I had to use half of the bottle. Plus, the ingredient list leaves a lot to be desired. I would opt for Trader Joe's Nourish conditioner for under $3 a bottle over this. Jane Carter can do better.

After reading the reviews here on this product, I was hesitant to buy it but knowing Whole Foods would give me a refund I said why not. I was so surprised by the results because I thought my hair was going to be left dry or this product wouldn't have enough slip but it was the exact opposite. My hair felt drenched in moisture and I was able to detangle with my fingers (I used the CJ daily fix cleansing conditioner before using this product). Also, I didn't use an enormous amount of product but just maybe a quarter or silver dollar size amount. The smell was very light and pleasant and because I plan on rotating between this and 2 other conditioners, the price isn't a problem for me as well. If anyone is thinking of trying this product, get it at whole foods because you can return it if you don't like it.

Well, I'd have to say the best thing about this product is the smell! Moisture-wise, it didn't do anything for my hair..and it definitely did not have enough slip! I'm glad that I got this bottle for only $8 instead of the full $12! I had to use SO much of this to even begin detangling my hair that there's only a teeny bit left in the bottle after only ONE use!

I picked this up at Target, total PJ that I am. I really didn't care for it at all. I tend to judge a conditioner's performance after shampooing, and I'm silicone and sulfate free mind you, so it's not like this conditioner had a boatload of moisture to replenish. But I totally wasn't impressed. I noticed no significant moisture retention, absolutely NO slip, and the scent (which I guess is supposed to be reminiscent of fresh linen?) was just too overpowering. Will not repurchase.

I used this in conjunction with the moisture nourishing shampoo and it didn't provide enough slip to detangle. I guess if I would have invested in a much larger bottle rather than a 1 oz sample, it would have properly conditioned my hair. But then it wouldn't be worth the money anyways. I've found other cheaper conditioners that work just as well.

I have 3C mostly- 4ish hair!I used Jane Carter’s Nutrient Replenishing Conditioner. I put it in, cleared my hair out (detangeled with my fingers) and then put a shower cap on, and let it in for about 25-30 mins. Then I washed it out, and used Moroccan Oil on it. My hair is extremely soft and the curls are so bouncy! It smells ridiculous good! and it is very moisterized and not oily at all! I love this combo!

i think this is a great product but it does not provide enough slip. it takes me 4 times as long to detangle my hair than normal and i have to use so much of it that i am constantly buying more. at $12 a pop it's kind of pricey. my hair is too thick and unruly for this conditioner. but the reason why i kept going back for more was because over time it changed the texture of my hair. i think that overall my hair is more manageable now and i am not using a relaxer anymore so that is quite a feat for a conditioner.

I got the easiest detangling ever, my hair was soft, and the smell is the absolute best in hair products, as far as I'm concerned. The one huge drawback is that I have to use one quarter of the bottle everytime I condition, which is three times per week. You do the math.

This is a great product; it just isn't for my hair. Anyone with fine hair who fears having her hair weighed down would love this. It leaves hair with a lot of moisture and softness and is easy to use in the shower. It is worth a try.
