Eh. I've found some poo bars that are waaaaaay more moisturizing than this. Of course it had little to no lather. After I washed my hair it still felt dirty. My scalp was not clean. I feel bad because I had such high expectations from Oyin

[4 b/c hair] I agree with elleisNOTherHAIR down below. It cleans my hair so well I don't even need to spend the extra $$$ on clarifying shampoos. Some people might not be too fond of the "squeaky clean" feeling it may leave, but I actually prefer it! Lets me know any & all build-up is effectively removed. Additionally it leaves my hair more curly than before - likely due to the oils & such. I just used it last week (after not using it for a month, lol) and this shampoo bar STILL gets the job done!

This shampoo bar was okay. Although it says that it's sulfate-free, I still had that "squeaky clean" feeling". My hair didn't feel as moisturized as I hoped, but it did its job of cleaning my hair.

This bar smells like Trix cereal, which may be a turn-off for some people. I kind of liked the scent. I used this bar several times until I started noticing build-up on my hair and scalp. I found it extremely difficult to make lather with. There are definitely better bars out there.

I took the curls out of my head! My hair looked so frizzy I don't think bars are for me I like some lather. I did love this to wash my body with though; it smells so good.

I'm just not sure how i feel about this product. it almost feels like it leaves my hair feeling sticky rather than clean. Also, the smell when you unwrap it is delicious, but then the smell goes away....

Cleans my hair and scalp very well without feeling stripped. My curls feel more defined even before I condition (probably the glycerin and oils). It even works well to balance out my skin when my face gets on the oilier side.

This is nice. Using a shampoo bar is convenient for me. I was concerned it would dry my hair out like using a bar of soap. This is not the case. The bar cleanses well... gently. You might not get a lot of lather, but you will get a good cleansing of your hair. Smells nice, doesn't strip your hair.

This was my first experience using a shampoo bar, and I must say that it was magical! I followed the Grand Mixtress' advice on cutting the bar into sections (mainly to stretch it so the remaining bar won't get wet) and rubbed it on my short, natural TWA. There wasn't much lather or bubbles, but I could see the poo on my hair. After rinsing, my hair was so soft and easy to detangle. In fact, my wide tooth comb literally slid right down my 4b hair. The smell is very pleasant and soothing, kinda like an expensive salon experience right in your own home!!

One of the best shampoos on my 4a hair. Low suds but gently cleanses w/o stripping. Fresh fragrance and I can use daily.

This is a great product. It's too much of an adjustment when you are use to a liquid shampoo. It cleanses very gently, low lather (so don't expect bubbles) and is great if you can adapt to the bar itself. That's the only reason I gave it 3 stars but I am going to try the Honeywash instead. I'll review it in a few weeks :)

I love this Poo bar...I have been using it weekly. It helps detangle my 4A curls, the bar smells gentle and does not strip the hair. My curls hang loose with moisture. It can be trying to get the bar sudsy however I do not mind!

I really like this poo bar. It leaves my hair clean with out stripping it. Sometimes when Im in a hurry I don't have to use conditioner! I will absolutly be buying this again!

Left my hair feeling dry and brittle. I'll stick with my creamy moisturizing shampoos.

I love love love Oyin's other products so I was sure I'd love this one too. But, this bar left my hair feeling a little sticky and weird. It doesn't lather up and I'd split into sections to wash but it just never worked well. It does last a while though if kept dry.

I liked this one. Sulfate-free, it really seems to clean gently.

I dig the Oyin philosophy and I love how their products are natural, but I didn't dig the Grand Poo Bar. I am sure it makes a fine glycerine soap but using it as a shampoo was really hard for my hair. It made it feel stripped. I would suggest using a real creamy shampoo.
