This rich, dense moisturizing cream is a mixture of rich botanical butters and oils such as shea butter, cocoa butter, and castor oil; blended with plenty of pure aloe vera gel and spring water for lightness & penetration. The result is superior, rich, penetrating moisture in an all-purpose, head-to-toe product. On dry, parched hair, Whipped Pudding adds moisture and pliability from scalp to ends; melting in and softening without building up, helping add weight to frizzy strands, keeping hair supple for days at a time. On damp hair -- post washing, or after a light spritzing of Greg Juice or water -- Whipped Pudding is excellent to help lock in moisture. For finer textures, it’s great mixed with honey and used as a pre-shampoo deep conditioning treatment. For the body, Whipped Pudding melts into skin, leaving a velvety softness behind. It’s ultra pampering on dry elbows, knees or heels. Use to protect hands and face before braving harsh weather; apply to dry skin as a rich nighttime cream, or massage into feet before sleeping in warm cotton socks. Whipped pudding has been sold unscented for years and its natural scent varied from batch to batch -- sometimes chocolatey, sometimes slightly herbal. But it seemed that the more chocolatey, the more positive feedback we received, so now we scent it very lightly with chocolate and vanilla fragrance to enhance the scent of the whole butters and essential oils.

    I have to say, I like this best for skin: it just melts in, making my skin feel fabulous. I haven't had quite the same luck with my hair; I wonder if my hair isn't porous enough? I do like it as an overnight treatment; hair definitely feels soft in the morning.

    I adore this stuff!! I used it on damp or dry hair almost daily. I have never had a problem with buildup. It is one of the few things I can scrunch into my hair once my curls are already set, but not quite dry. It doesn't make them frizz, eliminates the scrunch before it starts, provides extra hold and volume. I also love it mid-day. It is really thick, so emulsify it well in your hands before you scrunch it in. It is my new fav for mid-day pick-me-ups. My favourite Oyin product to date.

    I love this product! I use it for my two-strand twists and my hair is well-moisturized and not poofy. I use this product in conjunction with Oyin's Greg Juice - a great detangler.

    Ridiculously wonderful! I havent used a better product to moisturize my 4a, mostly 4b hair. Smells great, unfortunately it does fade. if I do a twistout by the afternoon the definition is disappearing, but I dont care because my hair is moist. Love it!

    Divine! This is the BEST moisturizer on Earth for 4a/b hair! I ususally use this after I've cleansed & condition. This is great for twists, smells like a chocolate treat for your hair! The smell isn't overwhelming. And is very faint once your hair is completely dry. If your hair is thirsty drink up! Good stuff!! And it has butters that are great for afro hair :) I know!

    Overally, the whipped texture did allow for it to penetrate into my hair better without the feel of buildup (3C hair) but Im not really a fan of the chocolate smell or the 3 week shipping time.

    I have to say this is another Oyin product that works great on my hair. Yesterday it was rainy and humid here and it took the frizz out as well as any silicone. My hair was so soft. I love the chocolate smell too. I bought this from Oyin as a sample because I didn't want to buy a whole jar and maybe not like it. I just let it melt in my hand and added some Shine and Define and it worked like a charm. I am a real Oyin fan!! Hail to the Mixtress!!!!

    I just recently received this product and I like it a lot. It moisturizes really well, smells GREAT, and it's inexpensive. I try and find products that I and my son can use. At this price, we will definitely be using more of this product. I wish it came in a bigger jar; but a little goes a long way.

    It doesn't have good hair penetrating properties to it. As, I find that it actually seems to sit more on top of the hair than actualy penetrating all the way through. Whicjh is why, you have to really do a god of smoothing this stuff through in order for it to not leave white residue on top of the hair. And, it has frizz control or addded curl definition properties to it whatsoever. This product wasn't nothing but a waste of my money!

    The moisture is wonderful and your hair is moisturized all day, but again, I could not tolerate the sweet smell. It drove me nuts! Another draw back was that it took a lot of time to work into my hair.

    I'm a chocoholic, so this scent is a dream come true. I mix this with Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade and get soft, moisturized 2-strand twists and a fabulous twistout. It's also great to travel with, as this does double duty for moisturizing your skin and hair. One product to pack....gotta love that!

    I tried this product based on its' reviews. What a waste of money. This product may be the best thing since jane carter but its consistency makes it nearly impossible to use. It is so hard and even rubbing this product between my fingers doesn't cut the job. I have to microwave this thing before I can use it. I do not relish the idea of having to use the micro every time I want to care my hair.

    The worst thing about this product is that it makes you and everyone around you crave chocolate all day. The scent is heavenly and the moisture is devine! The only thing I don't like about the product is that it takes a while to dry on short hair. Maybe I added to much? Definitely buying again.

    This stuff smells so heavenly, you want to eat your hair! Make sure you really rub it in your hands first and then scrunch it into your hair because it is very viscous. It was good for defining my curls followed by the serum. Overall, good stuff!

    This product is for those of us with thick, coarse, kinky hair. It smells like cocoa butter and it yummy. The cream is very thick and you need to melt it between your hands before applying it to your hair. This is defiantly not a product to use everyday as it could cause buildup. I use this under Shine and Define.
