This is a great shampoo..I use it as a detangler and leave in..just wish i could find the bigger bottles.

This works great as a leave in. Its a little too thin for my hair so I use Kirkland Moisture Conditioner first then put this on top. I makes my curls really pop by providing great definition. I need to put oil on top to give it shine. I use coconut oil and avocado oil mixed.

So far I'm really impressed with this conditioner. Really left my hair soft, shiny and silky-feeling. Great for detangling. Now I'm rotating it w/ the 50:50 for fear of protein overload, but I may be able to use it alone. love love love this conditioner ... its like magic in a bottle. The moisture is unbelievable .. i use it as a co wash, deep cond., or leave in cond. my hair feels amazingly soft and it makes my hair extra fluffy and my curls just pop .. its amazing ... i purchased the small bottle at ULTA for $8 and ended up finding the huge botle at Marshalls for $13!!!

I love this stuff! I use it all the time in my hair! I use it as a wash-out and also a leave-in conditioner. If I can find a place that sells this locally I would stock up on this stuff because this conditioner as been so good to me. I have 3C/4A hair. It keeps my hair soft, manageable, it's great for detangling and I love the consistency of it! I always come back to this product because it does my hair some good. :)

This has got to be the best non thick conditioner I have ever had. I mean I can detangle my hair and I can co wash with it and it leaves my hair refreshing. Love it.

I simply love this deep conditioner on by 3c/4a thick hair. I use it as a deep conditioner once a week and sit under the dryer for a least 15 minutes (45 mintues w/o dryer). It doesn't sit on top of my hair like some conditioners, but really penetrates the shaft. It has great slip also and helps with detangling. My hair feels soft, has a nice sheen, with lots of bounce and body to my curls. This is staple product in my regime.

While I didn’t enjoy the matching shampoo I loved this conditioner. If I could find this in a pump bottle I would most definitely re-purchase.

I am on a Giovanni kick at the moment. I have read all the hype and have not been disappointed yet. I am using this conditioner for co-washing and really liking it. Lots of slip and moisture.

My 4c hair loves this stuff I use this at least once a week as a leave-in after I cowash, I alternate between this one and the giovanni 50:50. I put this on and seal with an oil and my hair feels amazing my hair is soft and shiny and it keeps my single strand knots at bay.

I wanted to try this conditioner because my hair looked dry and dull. After using it several times, my hair feels soft and moisturized and looks shiny! I co-wash my hair with this every other day. It works wonders on my 3b curls and I will repurchase this. It's easy to find now at Target and Whole Foods. The price is great too!

I have used this for the past year and like the smell. But now that it is summer my hair feels dry. I think I need to switch brands, but want to stick with something organic. Suggestions?

This conditioner is fab! It smells amazing, like mango. The consistency is slightly clear cream-gel. It detangles like a dream - no combs needed! Leaves hair super soft and silky, no greasiness, and is easy to wash out. Great as a leavein; has good ingredients. I notice that when rubed into hair there is a little lather formation; not sure what causes it, but there are definitely no sulfates. This might even make a good shampoo for someone with extremely dry hair. It did not really do anything for frizz, but this is otherwise such a good conditioner that it really doesn't matter.

I think I have 4b hair, not sure. After using the Giovanni Smooth as Silk Shampoo I used the conditioner. I was able to run my fingers through my hair with the conditioner in it and I didn't spend too much time detangling. I twisted my hair with the conditioner in and added more to all my twists and put on a plastic cap for an hour. MY hair was so shiny with then conditioner in and it felt soft. I rinsed the conditioner out and my hair felt very soft. I used to use the V05 conditioners and my hair felt alright but not the same as the Giovanni. I love Giovanni. If it wasn't so expensive I would use it to co-wash my hair. I won't be switching to another conditioner. The next day when my hair dried my hair was shiny and kind of dry. Even my mom thought my hair was softer and shinier, compared with the V05 :) And I just deep conditioned my hair for an hour. I wonder what 2 hours could do. Or using their leave in.

This is a great conditioner. I have two conditioners that work wondufully on my hair every time and this is one of them. Several diffirent formulas are floating around, so I was a little nervous when I ordered a liter size bottle and the ingredients were slightly different (very different with regard to the placement of protien). But it still worked wonderfully for me. So if your hair likes a little bit of protien, this might be the conditioner for you. Great stuff, and I love that I can buy it locally.

This is a a decent conditioner, however it didn't do much for my hair, I didn't notice much difference and it didn't soften or detangle my hair as well as other conditioners I've tried.

I've only used it once and wasn't impressed. I'm very annoyed because the ingredients listed here on naturallycurly.com are different from the ingredients of the one I bought. Mine as a few citrus extracts which I believe dry my hair out. I'm frustrated with all Giovanni products in general because they are changing their ingredients on everything, for the worse.

I love this product, it has become my staple product in all my conditioning treatments. I'm currently transitioning from relaxed hair and I find that most natural/organic conditioners just don't really go well with the sorry state of my old relaxed hair, which gives so many problems because it hasn't had its share of the creamy crack. It had been suggested that I should continue with my "relaxed" hair routine until I have significant growth but I really wanted to quit all that and was searching for a conditioner that catered to both types of the hair on my head and I feel like I found it with this one. Both parts of my hair feel really moisturized. My only problem is trying to not overuse it (seriously I want to put it in EVERYTHING) lol enjoy!

I really like this in combination with the Smooth as Silk shampoo - I haven't used it in a co-wash though. My hair feels really soft and clean after, but not completely stripped. It took a while of my hair getting used to before it started feeling this nice, and at this time I have no comments on how it is when used alone, so that's why I rated it with a 4. I definitely recommend this though.

I can't rate this product yet because I haven't used it yet but I did just pick up a bottle yesterday at Target becaaaauuuse it was one sale for $5.99! The sale is going on til tomorrow, 4/30. I'm gonna try co-washing with it tomorrow. Idk after reading all these awesome reviews I might have to hurry up and get another bottle, especially for this price $.$

Great conditioner, sadly I discovered it so late; be it sooner I would save a lot of money on products. It works equally well as both rinse out and leave in. I used Giovanni Direct leave in years ago and hated it, but this works as a leave in perfectly. And it's easy to find in stores and on sale. Winner!

One of the BEST conditioners by far!!!! Gio has out done its self with this one!! :) My hair needs and LOVES moisture. Sooo I wash my hair like every day or if I have a style, probably once a week. So when I heard about this product, i knew it had to try it. And thank GOD I did!!! It smells SOOO goood!!! And its really unlike any conditioner I have tried so far. Its more of a "clear" texture than a creamy typical conditioner. It goes on soooo smooth and soft! And it really defines my curls, I was shocked! But the kind of down side is that, the bottle isnt that big. Soo i try and conserve it the best I can by switching out in between conditioners. But hands down, VERY good product! You wont be let down!! :))

Love love love this product! Not a fan of the price, but i started buying it at walmart for a better price. It's very moisturizing and I can see why it's called smooth as silk because that's exactly how my hair feels. My favorite conditioner thusfar, hands down. 5 curls, no doubt!

Nice conditioner, fresh scent and very moisturizing, but not so economical for those with shoulder length 3c/4a curls like mine who need to use a lot for co-washing. Nice as a leave-in as well.

I got a big 33.8 oz bottle at TJ Maxx for 12 bucks! I bought it with a gift card, intending to use it as a deep conditioner, since my hair is pretty healthy and moisturized already. I left it on for an hour with a shower cap while I cleaned the house. My hair felt SO SOFT when I rinsed this out, and now that it's dry, its still that soft. Really nice conditioner.

This review is for the Smooth as Silk Extreme Protein Hair Infusion. Love it! I leave it in about 5-10 minutes and it really gives life and silky smoothness back to my hair (not colored, but with bits of unruly gray). I also like using the smooth as silk shampoos and the 50-50 of Giovanni to clear any buildup. Has very faint grapefruit scent, but not overpowering.

Best conditioner I've used in my natural hair to date. It makes detangling a breeze. Hair feels smooth as silk for real. Very moisturizing. I had a bit of a disaster with some shampoo that left my hair extremely dry, matted, and stripped. I put this on for a few minutes and my hair felt moisturized and was easily detangled.

OMG! This product is a big deal for me! I really like the way this conditioner makes my hair feel! However, I only gave it 4 curls because it doesn't come in a larger bottle for the price I bought it for! :( But other than that, two thumbs up!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this conditioner!! This stuff is just amazing. I used it during my transition and not only did my relaxed hair love it, but my natural hair adored it. I just BC'd and my natural hair still loves this conditioner. It leaves my curls so moisturized and silky soft! I like to mix it in a bowl with some honey for even more moisture (although it really isn't necessary, but honey is good for your hair so why not add a little?!) I will continue to purchase it and recommend it.

Just wasn't moisturizing enough for my hair type/texture. I will not repurchase, but it is full of some wonderful ingredients so I'm giving it 3 curls. Wish it would have worked for me.

I found this to be an excellent conditioner. My hair felt soft and curled very nicely. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 is that after a few days it built up and I had to use baking soda with the shampoo to get the excess out. Other than that I am very pleased with the way my hair looks and feels after using this. I think these products are just as good as some of the more expensive ones that I have tried.

I use this product for CO wash. It's great. My hair is soft, moisturize, and with a smooth look. It also contains a slip which I love!!

I love the grapefruit-y scent of this conditioner and the fact that I can get it locally. But it wasn't creamy enough to detangle my hair in the shower. And it didn't offer enough moisture to keep my hair from frizzing when it dried.
