I like this product and bought it for $10 from Whole Foods too. I used it with the Knot Today conditioner and loved it. My hair was so soft it was unbelievable. I went and bought two more tins as it worked great for me to braid my hair without all of the frizz. I wear a single inverted braid down the center of my head to work and this was great for smoothing.

I really liked this on my hair, it gave me softness and shine, it lost a curl though because you get 2oz for $10 at the wholefoods I bought it from, doubt I'll buy it again, not a good amount for the price

I actually use this to seal my ends after applying the curling custard. Shea butter is too heavy and straight up oil is too light. This is perfect. Not sure if I care for the lemony scent (I wish it smelled like the custard) but it's subtle. $7.00 is a bit much for this tiny little pot, but look @ the ingredients, absolutely no beeswax or anything else that will give you trouble when you wash your hair (this is especially important if you no-poo or low-poo).

This stuff is great. I use it to de-crunch my hair on the days I get a little overzealous with the KCCC, and end up with gorgeous, soft, shiny curls. Also, when I do twists or braids, I use this prior to twisting/braiding and my hair is shiny the next day. Easy to travel with and smells fresh!

I've never really used anything besides my hands to scrunch out the crunch before, but I saw this stuff at Whole Foods and decided to buy it when I bought my other Kinky-Curly stuff. I rub a tiny little bit in my hands before I SOTC, and I've noticed that it makes my curls nice and shiny and cuts down on frizz. The only problem so far is the smell...I've heard other people describe it as a lemony smell but once it goes on my hair it can best be described as smelling like...butter or something. Or like buttery popcorn. Not a terrible smell, just one I'm not used to smelling on my hair.

I don't usually like pomades because they are generally sticky and cause a lot of buildup. But this is different! It is a must-have, especially if you use the KC Curling Custard. I apply it over the custard once my hair has dried. It melts into my handa and into my hair. It smells great and isn't oily if you use it sparingly.

Love the pomade. Have not tried it as an old school grease, yet, but it works beautifully for laying down any developing freeze on day 2 and beyond. Leaves hair soft and shinny.

I use the gloss pomade to lay down my edges when I wear a puff. It works great with a natural bristled brush. Comes in a tiny tin but I do not use that much.

I love the fact that Kinky-Curly products are all natural and really nourish the hair. I don't know about styling and finishing but I used this as an old school "grease".Not too heavy, smells like lemon, soft shiny hair. Container is very small so you can only get four or five greasings out of this. That is why it only gets 4 curls.
