A co-worker told me that every day, she saw me just after a shower with soaking wet hair, and for the first hour or so, wasn't really sure it was going to dry into something . . . attractive. And every day, she had to eat a little mental crow when my curls were spirally, shiny, bouncing and soft, and this was working at a summer camp in Wisconsin Dells with EXTREME sun, chlorine, river water, sweat, dirt, humidity and campfire smoke exposure. I use a relatively large amount (maybe 2 quarters' worth for hair to my shoulder blades) on soaking wet hair just after turning off the shower, and then I leave it alone. I couldn't believe myself how CONSISTENT the results were, no matter the dew point or activities of the day. If you experiment with wet/dry application and amount, I'm optimistic you'll be as thrilled as I am; I'm careful with my pennies, and I deem this worth the money. The fragrance is gentle, which was frequently complimented--the line all together smells relaxing and herbal and was popular with my friends and family. (3A/B)

I have very fine, thin, naturally curly hair. Not enough hold, didn't define my curls, clumpled my curls together instead of separating them, hair was completely flat after using, and definitely not good if you live in a high humidity area. And also didn't do anything for my frizz. This product may do well when you use it with something else but definitley not by itself.

This product really helped to minimize my frizz without weighing it down too much. I did find it a little heavy - I would like an even lighter formula (maybe FuzzyDuck kids' product next time? Is this line still available?). A little pricy, but worth it for the definition and reduced frizz.

I love this product! I have fine hair and this is't too heavy for my hair. It leaves my hair shiny and natural looking :)

This anti frizz gel didn't do wonders for me. It made my hair somewhat crunchy which I don't like the feel of, and my hair still had frizz. I'd still give it 2 stars because it did help define my curls a little.

I have hundreds of dollars of what I call the grave yard for products under my bathroom sink...been thru them all!! I typically use 2-3 products at a time to TRY to achieve what I'm looking for..sexy, soft, DEFINED, NATURAL curls. I went to a stylist who specializes in naturally curly hair..I've always been skeptical of these "naturally curly hair products"..I thought they all worked the same. PERIOD! He washed and styled my hair using the entire Mop Top line and OMG!!! Amazing difference! I actually made him take a picture because I KNEW I'd never get it to look that way again. Still skeptical, I bought the travel kit line that had a litte of everything, for a little bit of money. I just ran out and I'm in a panic because I HAVE TO GET MORE!! I'm 46 years old and have NEVER achieved what I wanted with my hair, until NOW! I LOVE THESE PRODUCTS AND BUYING IN BULK TODAY!! If you've never tried them, make sure you do!! You won't be disappointed!!! Stop the search and purchase of all of those GRAVE YARD PRODUCTS!!! I did!

Great smell, but not enough hold for me.

I love this gel. No crunch! I can use it to twist ringlets in my hair and they hold. I also use it to make the second day hair treatment (1 part gel to 4 parts water in a spray bottle) Just spray it on and an re-twist or scrunch. I also use it to control my 1 year old son's hair in the morning. Holds it just right. Can't tell I used anything. and he smells so good.

I thought this was an okay product. It left my hair very shiny, though not all frizz free. Its a little hard figuring out the right amount to put in your hair, and its very pricy. But in the end it did a decent job.

I LOVE this stuff! It's all-natural and doesn't contain any sulfates, silicones, or parabens, which is a must for my hair. I have naturally fine, light 3a hair, and this stuff is just the ticket to keeping those little frizzies on the back of my head at bay. It's nice and light, and doesn't weigh down my hair at all, which is hard to find in a gel and especially so for hair as fine as mine. It also has a great texture, and feels great on your hands and in your hair while you're applying it. It smells heavenly, almost like a really fresh limeade. It's nice to find an anti-frizz serum that actually doesn't contain silicones; that's nigh impossible these days. I also like that it lasts forever because a little goes a long way. I have hair down my back, and I just use about a dime-sized amount, right after the JessiCurl Gelebration Spray. This is the perfect finishing touch for my hair at the start of the day.

Did nothing for frizz but hair was shinier. Will have to use with something else for anti frizz and for hold, which makes this product kinda pointless.

This stuff makes my curls unbelievably silky, everytime. I can add a bit of harder holding gel on top if I want multiple day hair and it works just as well. Plus I only need to use a little. I'd definitely get this in a liter!

This did NOTHING for frizz. I get better results with cheap products from the grocery store. Someone actually noted that my hair looked particularly dry. Also, it smells like human sweat.

I use this product right after I co-wash with the daily conditioner. I LOVE this product. In addition to applying this to my overall hair, I like to apply it to my hair part and baby hairs before I add a barette. It makes my hair super shiny and soft...and NO CRUNCH! My hair is really thick and I don't like big heavy curls and waves. This product gives my hair just a little bit of hold without weighing it down. I would not suggest this product for women whom prefer a lots of hold because you may be disappointed because this will give you light to moderate hold.

Hmmm, I tried this product but so far I got zero hold, no seperation or definition of curls. My hair was very soft and I love the fact that this gel is fragrance free but it did not deliver enough hold for my hair. I'll try it again with other products and hopefully get better results. I can use it if I want to slick my hair down to wear in a ponytail but it's not so good for wearing my hair unrestrained. My hair was very soft and puffy.

Did not hold my curl nor did it prevent frizziness. It's water soluable and the way I wet my hair may be the problem. I really don't think it's worth the price.

does really well and can hold up in some texas humidity. does well alone so far. can't wait to use it with other styling products.

This will not hold for me in higher humidty/temps. Produced frizz. When temps/humidty are moderate it does alot better.

I use this after the Mop Top daily conditioner. Easy to scrunch out once dry. Leaves my curls frizz free and soft. Smells very good too!

I have tried so many gels to get my hair to look the way I want it and they never work out, and if they do its only for a little bit. This Gel holds my hair in place and doesnt make it look hard or anything and it last all day long!!!

This is all i use to define my curls ever morning. Its light weight and smells great. Takes the frizz out of my MOP!!! LOL I can't live with out this one!!!!

Recently tried the whole line of basic MopTop products and this one was my least favorite. It is unscented but still smells like some strange chemical goo. Texture was not bad and wasn't too heavy for my very fine, dry hair but also didn't do much at all to shape and hold curls, left lots of frizz. Made my hair a little stringy. Disappointing! All of the MopTop products should be made with the Lavendar Mint scent of the gentle shampoo (my favorite of the products).

The best frizz control I've had so far. Dries soft, not crunchy. Thicker than curl keeper.

Kind of reminds me of homemade jojoba jelly. Got really soft hold, not stiff. My hair felt more mosturized than with some other gels. Decent shine, and curl formation, but didn't feel like it took care of frizz as much as climate control. Overall a good product. May become a staple.

My hair is definitely softer and looks healthier, but this gel is not enough. I'm more "fluffy" which looks a little less than frizzy but no defined curls.

I love this gel! I think I have tried everything under the sun and fell for it all! I have frizzy, curly hair with a total mind of it's own. It hasn't had a shine in years. This is what I do...Mop Top shampoo, conditioner (leave 20% in), and then while I'm in the shower...Curl Keeper, and then the gel. I get out soaking wet and put clips in my hair...do the face washing, lotion thing and then take an old t-shirt and gently wick away some of the moisture. I scrunch (this is actually one product that works great with scrunching) for a while...and let it air dry! I'm sold!

The perfect hold for my 2a/b hair. No crunch, which is really important to me.

My hair is 2b to 3b. I love this gel. I use it with JCRR and Plop my hair in a T-shirt for 15 to 20 minutes. Let my hair air dry. If I have any crunchy parts I can easily scrunch them out. My hair will have lots of shiny curls. Not weighed down at all. For those looking for a hard hold gel this is not one. But for natural pretty curls, this one is great!

I was introduced to this product by my hairstylist and I love it. It holds without getting crunchy and I feel like it's good for my hair. Love it!

Love the consistency of this gel--slippery, not too thick and not too thin. Over a leave-in I get springy shiny hair when dried and it doesn't reduce my volume. Good stuff.
