This is my HG gel. It is moisturizing, and gives me great clumping. It has medium hold with no crunch, just soft frizz free curls. The smell is a bit sweet, but it goes away when dry. Doesn't build up on my hair, or give me that tangled, matted producty feel the day after that I get with most gels. I can get second day hair from this if I spritz it with water and scrunch in the morning. I apply it over ABBA pure gentle leave in conditioner and diffuse to 75% dry.

This is really good! I used to use this, but it didn't give me enough hold, so I gave it to someone else in my family and got KCCC. KCCC is great, but it was a little crunchy and gave me some frizz/dryness. I switched my conditioner to Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel (it's CG!!) to use as my co-wash, rinse-out, and leave-in, so I decided I might as well give this another try since nobody was actually using it. I applied some and could tell it wouldn't hold much, but then I put some KCCC over it and wow! Instead of using tons of each separately, using a little of both works very well. This was the extra oomph I needed, I guess. My curls right now are smooth and well-defined :) I'm thinking I can use this by itself when I want to wear my hair more wavy than curly.

I like this a lot, actually! I use this with the Fairy Tales Deep Conditioning Shampoo, I condition with the Fairy Tales Energizing Leave-in, comb my hair while conditioning, then add the Fairy Tales Curl Maker. My curls are so well defined and frizz free. They're also separated, which is great because my hair has the tendency to stay together. I'm not a kid, but I will continue to use this kids line. It's awesome.

I'm surprised there are not more reviews on this one. It gives me great curls and strong hold every single time. Plus it smells nice. Great product! My HG!
