I really like this product. When I asked my friends for an inexpensive conditioner to help put my hair into a puff, I had several people tell me about Cantu. It smells great. When I use it on my wet hair, it detangles and I am able to pull my hair back with no problem. When my hair is dry, I use a lot more to moisten my hair, but I am still able to slick it back into my puff. I have also used this on a twist out. I used about a palm-full and spread it all over my damp hair. My twists were soft and moisturized. This is a nice product if you are on a budget and have 4b hair.

This cream was to heavy for my 3b curls. I found using a little on my ends made them feel much softer.

I love this conditioner. My daughter has 3c hair and it works really well to keep it moist and seperate her curls. My hair is 3c/4a/4b (I know a lot of combos) and it works really well to keep it soft. I would not add it if I were wearing my hair straight because it is heavy. But it works reall well while curly.

First of all can I say that I love the price of this 16oz product!. I had been curly for awhile and been using alot of different curly creams with only a few success's. When family told me about this product I was skeptical. Why is it so cheap if it works so good?, Well I finally decided to reach deep for the 5 bucks;) and was happiily surprised to find it left my hair soft and my curls bouncy and feeling moisturized. Now it doesnt give me the curl definiton I get from curly creams that are more expensive, but for the price it works great for everyday wash and go styling and I use it as curling cream. So if your on a budget yor getting more than what your paying for.

I couldnt afford Kinky Curly and someone suggest this...it worked good for the most part...the smell isnt bad and my hair was mositurized....it did cause shrinkage but its only $5 dollars so you cant have the best of both worlds...overall i like it and will continue to use is every blue moon because im trying to go cg and it does have a silicone...

This product has the consistency of a thicker version of cottage cheese. It spreads and pentetrates the hair quicker when it is wet or damp. However, because I don't wash my hair all the time, it does become sort of a fuss getting this stuff to penetrate my hair as quickly as I would like it to in the morning. Also, I did unfortunately find that this product gives my hair a fair amount of buildup which I don't care for. The best thing about this product is that it does add definition to the hair and it does offer a decent amount of moisturization to the hair. So, these are the only two reasons why I decided to rate this product a 2.
