I have been using this conditioner long enough to give it a 5 star review. The first time I let it touch my tresses was about 6 years ago and I was wowed by the difference it made in my dry and frizzy curls. This conditioner is THICK! Only a little bit is needed to condition your hair so what I do is squirt out a dollop and then take some water and emulsify it in my hands. Then I run it through my hair. It leaves my hair very soft and silky and when styled I have zero frizz. This conditioner is not the best at detangling, but the end results are well worth the tradeoff. The scent may be off putting to some, but I rather enjoy the floral notes of the honeysuckle. I'm also a person who is very picky about her scents and almost never like a floral scent if that says anything about it. And while I have tried MANY MANY conditioners over the past 6 years, I still go back each and every time to this one. Then I really truly realize what I was missing.

This conditioner is excellent! It's very thick and moisturizing, and it really brought out my curl pattern and made my hair super soft. My hair was getting really parched from the dryness of winter, and this product instantly transformed my hair! However, I do agree with everyone else about the "slip" factor. In order to detangle my hair in the shower, I had to mix this product with my Mixed Chicks conditioner. Bottom line: I HIGHLY recommend this product. (I hope I'm not writing this review too soon being I only used it once, but I am so impressed with my hair, I had to.)

Works well as a pre-poo; however, if I use it too often my hair becomes dry and brittle. The company says that this product has a small amount of protein in it, and I am protein sensitive.

I ran out of conditioner and saw this at Vitamin Shoppe and bought it because of the good ratings in CurlMart. I have to say that is does what it says. It left my hair very moistuized and my hair looks great. I didn't care for the shampoo but the conditioner is great and the best thing is that I didn't have to pay for S&H. I still like Spiral Solutions Caitlin Conditioner better but this is a close second!

I have 2c-3a curls, and this conditioner left them frizz free. Currently my HG conditioner! The only reason I didn't give it 5 curls is because of the scent. This conditioner literally looks and smells like a thick sunblock. Ew! The smell dissipates after I diffuse my hair, which is good.

I absolutely LOVE this conditioner. This is the first one I've found that takes away all of my frizz and leaves me with soft, luxurious curls. I did add some olive oil because it doesn't have a lot of slip to it, but it made my hair so easy to detangle, and I only used my fingers! That is a huge feat for me! My hair is very thick and long, and I've been struggling to find a conditioner that works well with my hair. I have to say this is it. It doesn't have the best smell in the world, but I don't find it displeasing. It is just very distinct. I highly recommend this product.

I have to agree with the majority on this one. This is the best conditioner and DT around. I have found like others that the slip isn't there but I have found a solution which will fix the problem and extend the lifespan of this product. I put a fair amount of AOHR in my palm along with a pea size amount of Matrix Biolage conditioning balm (little goes a long way) then rub my palms together and voila, instant slip, less waste and beautiful soft shiny hair. You will cut your product use in half if you use this method.

I have been using this for about 2 months and I can say it is one of the best conditioners I've used to date. I alternate between products but I always come back to this. Whether it's a a DC, a leave-in (mixed with water) or for co-washing, this is great. My hair soaks it up. I lurve the smell of this stuff. Even though it can overpower my perfume, I've gotten a lot of compliments about the smell.

I use this conditioner (and all other AO conditioners) as a deep conditioning treatment for dry hair. Because for me, it works better as one. I think if anyone is not getting any good results by using it as a rinse out, then try it as a deep conditioner on DRY hair! Sometimes I leave it on for about 1-8 hours and my hair comes out nice and soft--really moisturized. Gonna be stocking up on this before the price rises at my local organic shop.

I'll start by saying this is an excellent product for a lot of people. However, my hair hates shea butter and jojoba. This conditioner got "stuck" in my hair. An ACV rinse was able to remove the waxy build up (jojoba is technically a wax). This also has a very strong scent. I would have lived with the scent if it worked awesom for me, but it didn't.

I almost gave this 5, however the smell is a bit strong and lingers for quite some time after your hair dries. Other than that it is one of the best conditioners I have used/tried, and the price is right! It works well as a deep treatment also which means more bang for your buck. A little goes a long way--it's super thick and very rich. Not as much slip as I would prefer for detangling but not horrible either; you don't really see the magic until after your hair dries though. My hair is shiny and frizz free, I will buy this again! Worth the money if you can stand the smell, other than that it is superb!

I bought this based on the Best of the Best rating for a deep conditioner but was extremely disappointed in it. It had very little slip for me so I had to use a lot with every application. My normal conditioner (Ouidad Curl Quencher) is way more moisturizing than this. I like the ingredients and the fragrance but I ended up throwing out the rest of this. Didn't work well for me at all.

I found this product very moisturising. It is one of the few rinse out conditioners that I leave in my hair. I am happy to leave this product in my hair because it is full of natural ingredients which soften and smooth. For me, this product is a great moisturiser but it is not a great conditioner. I do not get enough slip from this product and it's not the best detangler for my hair (unlike Knot Today). I am also a little concerned that there are two different ingredient lists for this product. The first ingredient list is the one on this site and the other one can be found on the aubrey organics website: www.aubreyorganicsuk.co.uk/product/50576/honeysuckle-rose-moisturising-conditioner/ I brought my conditioner from a shop in London and it has both sets of ingredients listed on the product. I believe that the ingredients list on this website is a bit misleading because it does not specify what is inside the 'Coconut Fatty Acid Cream Base'. Some people like to avoid glycerin and there is glycerin in this product but the ingredients list on this site does not make that clear. Nonetheless, I really like this product and I will continue to use it as a leave in.

Hands down this is one of the best deep conditioners I've ever put in my hair! It's very moisturizing, and for my hair that's very hard to do. It doesn't have the slip of some other conditioners, but I still have been able to detangle easily enough with it. Also, I think the scent is lovely-- it's kind of sweet and floral, but not heavy. All the people who are saying it smells like pine or medicinal-- i think you guys MUST be talking about AO White Camelia, whose scent I cannot STAND! Seriously, if you have dry hair, you should really give this a go.

I was really excited to try this. Okay, I'll admit it: I drove two towns over just to pick some up at a GNC store. Totally not impressed. The smell was just awful, although I might have been able to overlook the scent if it actually worked as well for me as everyone else. It's too thick in the bottle, and when it finally does come out, it doesn't seem thick enough. I didn't seem to get the slip everyone else raves about. Putting this on my hair was comparable to putting a thin layer of sickeningly sweet-smellng Crisco on my head in the shower. Not happy with the results.

I have fine, 3b hair, shoulder-length hair. While this condish did define and detangle my curls, I didn't find it moisturizing enough. My hair would feel coarse once it dried. Furthermore, I didn't like the smell (flowery grape juice scent), and it was really really thick, so the slip wasn't great for me. I know this condish has worked for other people, but I don't think I'd try it again.

I've used this conditioner twice so far, and I have to say I agree with most of the 4a Type. It's a great, affordable product! I bought mine at the Vitamin Shoppe in desperate need to find something to moisurized my super frizzy, dry hair, and I gambled on this one because it said it not only moisurizes, it detangles. The first time I used it, I co-wash there was no change and I struggled with kinks. The second time (after using shampooing, my hair was so packed with residue from other products), I tried it again, and YES!!! It DOES detangle! AND it does moisurize. I read one reader uses it with Honey; I think I'm going to try that next time to see how that works. I give it 4 curls because honestly because even though it does it's job, it's hard to gauge how much to put on my hair. I think I put too much the first time. I like glopping conditioner in my hair because it's easier for me to comb it out, and this conditioner leaves a flaky residue if you use too much. Oh I'm sure this product make a great deep conditioner too! All in all, I WILL buy this product again because it's organic and affordable.

This is the only thing that made my very, very dry, strawlike hair (fine, thick density, 3a) soft and healthy. I've been using it at least every other day for a few months and no problems, just gorgeous hair. Worked better for me than coconut oil, in terms of softness and added moisture.

I feel this is a must have for any coarse haired curly. I never thought it was possible to have my hair feel soft and shiny, but it does! I know I have this condish to thank for putting moisture back into my hair. My HG!

Smell is really strong, and the conbination of oils made my hair feel crunchy after awhile.

It not only softened, but strengthened my hair. I gave it 4 curls because of the odd, strong scent. It's not bad, though. And, no one has said anything negative about it.

I love this CO. It is very thick though so I water it down so it will get into my hair more evenly. Because of the price and avalibility I alternate it with Suave naturals which is ok. I wonder though if my fine hair could take this if use constantly? I think it smells great!

Completely repaired and remoisturized my hair after being dried out from magnesium sulfate products. The scent is a little overpowering, but it's a great product.

I love this conditioner! My all-time fave will always be Giovanni 50/50, but this is a close second. I alternate with the two with fabulous reasults!

This conditioner is awesome for my 4a/4b hair! My hair is very soft and shiny after using this product. In fact, I don't need much (if any) leave-in conditioner after using this. This is definitely a staple in my house from now on!

Very, very thick, which is nice when you have dry, resistant hair like mine. The smell and texture remind me of sunscreen, really, but I don't mind the scent. I won't use it everyday, because it is heavy, but maybe once a week. Definitely a re-purchase.

This is a great conditioner, but I cannot stand the smell of it. I do use it for DT's, but I can't use it everyday, because it would make me overconditioned.

Wonderful stuff, very conditioning and healing, extremely thick, all natural. Smells great. Works so well on my parched, thick 2C hair. I don't use this everyday because it starts to weigh down my curls, but used every few days it's wonderful.

One of two conditioners I use. I love this one. Very moisturizing. The smell I am not crazy about, but its nice when you feel florally.

This conditioner is amazing especially with honey. As a DT, it always gives my curls everything they need. Softness, moisture, and shine! I also love the fact that it has a great SLIP!!

An excellent thick, rich conditioner but awesome with honey! Honey stretches out the consistency and adds more slip for me. A bit heavy as a co-wash but works great as a deep conditioner, IMO. I love that it's protein-free. I could do with out the floral scent but I stomach it because the moisturizing abilities are so great. I would definitely rec. this conditioner!

A wonderful conditioner at a great price! Has a lot of mositure and slip/detangling yet doesn't weigh down my fine hair. No "bad" ingredients in it. Yummy scent that's not too strong. Love that I can find it locally. It is right up there with my other HG conditioners (DevaCare One and Elucence MB).

Love this conditioner! Like RCC, my hair loves oils and hates proteins, and for this reason absolutely SOAKS UP this condish. Per-usage, it's super cheap, and does a wonderful job of moisturizing my hair. It makes up for any damage a shampoo may do to my hair immediately beforehand, and detangles instantly. The smell is strong and floral, but doesn't linger. A perfect winter conditioner!

I have a hard time finding a good, thick, moisturizing protein free conditioner. Luckily, this ones fills the bill. I have coarse, dry 3B curls that love oil, hate protein, and needs lots of moisture. I get great moisturization with this. It's not super-seaweedy, but it does feel nice and my hair feels silky after use. The next day, I can tell that the conditioner is heavy on the oils and shea, but it is not detrimental to my curls or hair at this point. Even my stubborn brittle hair at the nape of my neck have improved. I like that I do not have to buy it online. It is mid-priced. The smell is wonderful. I have been getting massive shrinkage with this. My hair is just above my wiast when wet. Today, it grazed the bottom of my shoulderblades, not even hitting BSL. I had great curl definition and bounce. I will absolutely re-purchase.
