This was not a friend of my 2b/3a waves/curls. It added shine, but it felt heavy and gunky-feeling, even when I only used a teensy, itty-bitty bit. It didn't help with frizz or clumping or curls (actually pulled them out some). It was also very hard to remove from my hands after applying and later my hair.

I love this product. Again this works best for NATURAL hair (meaning no chemical processes preferably for African American Women). It made my twist go from dry to moisturized and soft. Best to use for maintenance on twists after using curly pudding or other products.

I absolutely ADORE this product. It's expensive, but worth every penny! It keeps my hair smooth and frizz free in the winter. Only use a little bit though, or else you'll weigh your hair down and miss all the benefits of this wonderful product.

I really enjoyed the scent of this product... the proble is my ends were not happy with this product. I bought the small sample size for $12CDN and I'm glad I didn't spend any more than that. My ends were not happy the day after my 2 strand twists + BBCream. It may be the Mineral Oil... I added a bit of extra virgin olive oil on my second use and experienced less breakage but wouldn't recooment to 4a/4b fine hair.

I am passing this on to someone else. I was disappointed in the lack of quality ingredients for the price, and I was so hoping the product would live up to the hype in spite of the price. I have tried on damp and dry hair, always to result in frizz. Hve used in conjunction with curly pudding and on 2nd day hair. It is unworkable if I want to wear my hair loose. I gave it to my niece who is young and still wears braids because it gives a decent amount of moisture but absolutely NO definition.

Product is ok. I use is after using the curly pudding fro 2x twistout. Which turned out nice. I like the smell. Is pricy and I still lack moisture which may be due to previous style of heat/pressing of hair. Overall a good product, just need additional moisture.

I love this for my hair in combination with curly pudding. I put it on my wet hair after i use curly pudding. Makes hair soft and moisturized and soft especially on my front hairline. It makes my hair in combination with curly pudding softer but still a good hold. And using this, I dont get flaky hair after a couple days from curly pudding. Eliminated! I love this stuff!

I use this product all the time on my 3b/3c hair even though it weighs it down a lot and is greasy. I love the smell and I use it to rehydrate my hair when it's parched or damaged by the sun. Gets it right back to the way it was.. healthy and strong.

This product is great!!!! I especially love to mix equal parts curly meringue and the buttercreme, so that while I style, the curls dry with a fabulous sheen!!!

I was really skeptical about buying this for my 3c hair because of the reviews, but wanted something to control frizz and provide moisture. So I purchased a sample jar. The result was horrible. This made my hair draw up into a frizzy, brillo pad looking mess. The smell was also great in the beginning, but as time went on, it started to remind me of foot cream.

This was my first Miss Jessie's product and I was really excited to try it, even though I've read a lot of mixed reviews on their products. "Thankfully" I was able to purchase a 2oz sample size (retail price: $9...for a 2oz sample! I should have known better) I want my money back. I didn't like anything about this product. In my reviews I try to give the pros and cons but I couldn't think of any pros here. First it smells awful - an overwhelming, cloying scent that seems to be an odd mixture of Pepto-Bismol and Johnson's baby lotion (no kidding). It left my hair feeling heavily coated and greasy. I tried it on both damp and dry hair and it didn't seem to moisturize either way. And its no wonder, just look at the ingredients. Bees Wax? Mineral oil and petrolatum? I'd think the people at Miss Jessie's would know better. These ingredients, and a few others in here, coat the hair and don't allow moisture in, they leave built-up on hair and scalp and they attract dirt and dust. Besides, mineral oil and petrolatum are cheap industrial products that should not be in a product that costs this much. And who can get past that price!

I was rushing to my local retailer to get the bbc because this was the product of miss jessies I didn't have and they were down to there last two. But anyway I was to late so when I brought the rapid recovery I recieved the sample pack free. So when I tried the bbc I wasn't quite sure now since my last review of the curly buttercreme I wasn't sure of how to use that one but now I have found out how to use the cbc I have actually fell in love with the curlybuttercreme it makes your hair soft & manageable. So now that I have the baby buttercreme it dosen't smell all that sweet and edible like it says it does. I think that the cbc works better than the bbc. cbc it has a minty smell but it late turn into a cocobutter smell. Overall I still think the baby buttercreme is okay I gave it a 4 for softness I stil think that this stuff is way to over priced like $58 just get the 8oz It last just as long or get a couple of 2oz but they do provide softness that does last a couple of days and a soft hairline if you know how much to use of this product. I would recommens if your hair is thr type that needs to be hydrated alot for dryness and brittle hair.

This product helped me through some rough patches with my hair. As, whenever my hair needed to be recharged or revitalized I would put this stuff in my hair and almost instantly my hair would start looking better. The scent of the product could be better and the price of it is on the high side. However, it is still a really decent product nonetheless!

This smells good enough to eat. My hair is bit dryer than most so I thought this would make it soft....NOPE! It was just as rough but greasy. I would leave grease prints all over the headrest in the car and on sofas like I had a jerry curl! I also felt like it gave me acne around my hairline. Too darn expensive and greasy and hair does not get soft.

I like this product, and i find it does a nice job with laying down my unruly hairline. They smell is pretty good too. I dont use much, because i use it on such a small section of hair. It works okay, definately not worth $58. If it were $50 cheaper I would buy it.

I don't agree with the one curl comments on this product. This product supplies so much moisture, that you don't need to use so much. And for me I think that is great. This product is true to the advertisement. It does lengthen your curls and moisturizes. I am also very sensitive with my nose, that is why I use this product only in the daytime. So I don't sleep with the scent in my nose. This is a product I will stick with.

This product is awesome for renewing the suppleness of my curls. My hair tends to get very dry and is the only product that really adds moisture. I use it daily to keep my hair vibrant, shiny and moist. My hair feels so good after I apply it (wet or dry).

I'm told this has a babypowder type smell, but there was something in the fragrance that irritated my sensitive nose. The product itself was sort of coating; my hair did not absorb it.

I love this product for my hair and my 20 month old daughter. We're both 3c's although her curls are a tad tighter than mine. It makes her hair shiny, soft and very moisturized w/o being slick or leaving oil on your hands if you touch it. I find the product a tad too rich for my own hair, so I use a tiny bit in combination with a different moisturizing lotion.

This is as good or even better than the original buttercreme. It does not have the peppermint smell and is very moisturinzing. The pudding and meringue are really too drying for me. I have 3b/c hair that is quite dry. This really helps and last 2-3 days if you sleep in a scarf.
