Excellent curl product--I bought this thinking it was going to be another new so-so curl styling in addition to the collection I already have and am not impressed with. I got my long layered 3A curls trimmed last week and my stylist Aimee styled my hair with this creme. I loved the look & bought a bottle. I get the same results at home and am VERY pleased--My curls are very defined, bouncy and frizz-free; you want to follow the directions and use only a pea-size amount for both sides of head (which I do to ensure balanced distribution). :)

Best curling creme I've used. I'm a 3b and this works great for giving me big, defined curls without being crisp. Keeps out the frizz and leaves hair able to be "refreshed" in the morning. My only complaint is it leaves hair with less shine but I just use a light spray of Aveda to fix that.

This performs identically to TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Amplifier Cream. But it's cheaper & I think the ingredients are slightly different. The only downside for this is it stinks the same as the TIGI.

My HG styler on humid days and my go-to styler when I have a social event to go to, since I get great results every time I use it. It feels really moisturizing when applying. Results are big chunky curls/waves that last all day. Because of the ingredients(protein and a cone?) I find it to be a bit drying when used more than a few days in a row, so I alternate with other stylers.

Nice creamy consistency. Gives good curl consistency. Especially good layered over something like Curl Keeper.

Good curl formation, good frizz reduction.

Curl Rating: 3 3 Curls: Some redeeming qualiities but inconsistent or an incomplete solution. Repurchasing hesitancy.
Curl Rating: 2 2 Curls: Had at least one positive trait, but the negative outweighted the positive(s) without question.
Curl Rating: 1 1 Curl: If I were stuck on a desert island, and this product was the only one available, I'd make my own stuff on the island.
